Went well. James is very professional, and clearly demands excellent customer service from the workers. There is the distinct feeling that they are being held to high expectations, and that if you pick up the phone and talk to James, he'll take care of anything the workers aren't handling to your satisfaction. The painters took care of some carpentry repairs and did some painting extras that weren't in the original quote, like the trim around some stained glass windows, and the door to the garage.

I would highly recommend this company. James was very professional: He showed up for the estimate appointment on-time, answered all of my questions, and provided pictures and references. James also provided the estimate in-person and followed up with a mailed copy detailing all of the proposed work. James was able to schedule the job right away. From the moment painters Johnny and Kim arrived on the job (on time every day) to the very end of their last day, I was impressed with the expertise, friendliness, trustworthiness and speed of these professionals. I was so pleased with the work done in the living room, dining room and entry hall, that I extended the job to the bedroom and some painted furniture--not part of the original estimate. James' prices remained fair when I called him back to add on the additional room/furniture, and the quality of Johnny and Kim's work was consistent as well. I wanted zero-VOC paint for this job to try to avoid fumes, and James and his painters accommodated the request. James warned me that I might notice a difference in the quality of the gloss on the trim paint (compared to traditional paints, this stuff takes a long time to dry and is not as glossy), and he was right about that. Nonetheless, Johnny and Kim did a great job with the paint and I am very happy with it. Also, they left the rooms spotless--no dust, smudges, or paint drips anywhere. I absolutely plan on using this company again.

They did excellent work and were very professional. They were on time and finished on schedule.

Based on previous reports from Angie's List, I had expected a wonderful job, and got even more than I had hoped for, thanks to the wonderful workers, Shin and Louis Fernando. The sanding and preparation was very thorough. Shin and Louis made sure that our plants did not suffer or get painted on, and they matched the colors to our old paint exactly. They were polite, worked hard, and finished in time! Were they on stage, they would surely receive a standing ovation .

It was excellent. They were courteous and extremely helpful and efficient when they were here.

They did a great job on the house. We did spot a bit of blistering on a part of the house so we are going call them to come out and fix it.

Everything was great. James came to give us an estimate the next day and we were able to schedule painting that week. The painters were early, kind and hardworking. They finished a day early and went above and beyond what I had expected. I plan on using them again when my kitchen is finished.

Very impressed by how hard they worked in 95 degree weather. All 3 men were perfectionists. Scraping, sanding, water blasting, priming, painting 2 coats, painting front porch floor and roping it off so it would not be stepped on for 72 hours.

He gave us a reasonable estimate the same day he came out. He was available to start the work right away. The two-man team was professional, punctual, neat, polite and easy to communicate with. We were most impressed at the lengths they went to to protect the pool and the house from paint.

Everything went very well. James lee came out to quote the project. He came in a little more expensive than another quote, but could do the job sooner. He accepted my counter offer around 10% under his asking price. Two painters showed up on time and worked one day at scraping, sanding, and priming. The next day they finished the paint work. I asked why they were not filling cracks in older wood and they confessed that crack fillers look nice at first but usually work their way loose after a few years, ruining the job. No paint was spilled anywhere and the painters work diligently and quietly. I would recommend this company without hesitation. Perhaps a little more expensive, but their ability to quickly work me into their schedule was worth the slight premium to me. Months laster the job still looks like new. I would hire them again.

They were total pros; we were very impressed. They were very punctual, showing up every day at 7:45 or 8am and working straight through until the afternoon with a brief lunch break. I was amazed at how well they paced themselves to get the job done in exactly 5 days as promised. Their prep work seemed thorough and they just knocked out the job quickly and neatly, usually working with a 3-man team. We appreciated the fact that they kept things neat, cleaning up every afternoon & evening, when they left and putting everything back just as they found it upon completion of the job.

Excellent experience. James responded to my request for a bid quickly and was able to start right away. Song and his crew went to great measures in preparing the exterior for painting. Including some significant stucco patch work which turned out great. The crew was knowledgeable in their trait and how paint would adhere to certain woods and metals which helped us in deciding colors, paints, etc. When we noticed a few touch up items, Song and his crew made sure that they were taken care of to our satisfaction. Overall a great experience using this company.

They were polite, prompt and professional. They finished patching, painting and cleanup in two and 1/2 days. Mr. Lee himself helped me fix a power source that had been disconnected. I feel that I paid top dollar but received excellent service.

Mr. Lee came out the same day I called him for an estimate. He was very proud of his company - and I see now with good reason. Song and A did the whole job themselves. They always showed up promptly at 8 and diligently worked the whole day. They both had extremely high standards with aesthetics, and repaired several areas of the house that I didn't realize would be included in the job (ie: repairing rotting wood, sanding down metal railing and doors, actually re-doing the wood frames around our windows because one didn't look good, etc.) They helped us decide what paint to use by painting large areas of our different options so we could see what it would look like throughout the day. Both were very considerate with anything on or around the house. They carefully moved all our plants, lighting and furniture, then carefully put everything back EXACTLY as it was. They give you your house back, only now it's beautifully repaired and painted!

They did a very good job, albeit a bit pricey. Mr. Lee was very prompt in returning all calls. I also had them bid another job for me, but found their price to be way out of line. I had that job done for half of the bid Mr. Lee gave me.

Within a few days of the estimate, the workers arrived on time, patched what needed to be, & covered the floors and banisters so there would be no drips. They worked around a new floor installation that my son and I were doing. They cleaned up each day.

Very good experience. Very responsive to questions. Work was excellent.

James came out to give the estimate and we scheduled the work for about a week later. A crew of four or five men came and they got to work masking & covering everything. It took five days to finish most of the job; we then discovered that some extra work needed to be done on the cyc before it could be painted. That was finished a few weeks later. I had to move the job dates several times and James was so kind and understanding about it. In fact, everyone on the crew was incredibly helpful and friendly. Working with James and his crew is a real pleasure! The initial estimate was a little higher than I expected, but after further consideration, I think it was a fair price.

There were three painters. They scheduled a week and were done in about four days. Most of the house was painted with a sprayer. There was very little overspray. There remain some uneven spots. I had to call them back to paint a large stuccoed area near the roof that was missed. For a few bucks more, they did a great job finishing my family room paint job that I had abandoned.

James Lee and his co-worker were GREAT. First they came to check out colors and when I had chosen a color that wasn't going to look all that great, he advised me to two other colors that are just stunning. They had to remove very old wallpaper. AND they even had to help me build and put up trim around two large new windows. I just can't tell you how beautifully done the job was. Fast, clean, so kind and courteous. I would hire them for any other jobs I have and recommend them to all!

Wonderful. Could not recommend this company more highly. From the moment I called for a quote (Mr. Kim came out that same afternoon) to the end of the project, this company was a dream to work with. The painters arrived on time every morning and were so courteous and polite; they even worked around my 8 month old's nap schedule in terms of doing noisy sanding or prepping or painting the windows of her room and the surrounding rooms. Our house was very rundown and the prep work was extensive. The painters were meticulous, finding every scrap of peeling paint or loose stucco and sanding or preparing. Shin, the head painter, worked carefully with me to find the exact colors I wanted used and went back to the store 2-3 times before the color was exactly what I wanted. The house looks brand new. We are thrilled.

Couldn't have been better. They came out right away after being contacted for an estimate. Once we decided to hire them, they were available actually within a couple of days, but we asked to wait until the next week. They got here around 8 every day. The first day they explained the process to us, asked us to pick colors, etc. They started on a Monday with sanding and prepping the first two days, started painting the third and were done by Friday mid afternoon. I had mentioned to them that we were having a party at the house on Friday afternoon, and they made sure they were done and cleared out by then. Cleanup was thorough. We didn't like the initial trim color we had chosen, and they re-did it the next day. We definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future for other paint jobs. We liked them so much we decided not to use the coupon.

The entire job was supervised by foremen. Painters were quiet and courteous. I chose a color and it turned out to be the wrong color and they graciously repainted it for me.

James Lee and his workers did an excellent job. They were courteous and neat. They were also patient with us as we had them paint small sections of the house, trim, garden wall and deck with several colors before making our final decision. I had two estimates from top rated painters on Angie's List. James' estimate was half the other one.

It took about a week. Everything was done well and they corrected things I wanted fix with no complaints and quickly. The price did change a bit from the quote due to some missed communication from quoter to painter.
