I found this company in the December booklet that you mail to members. I contacted House Painting and Mr Lee came to my home to give me a estimate. Mr Lee was a perfect example why his company is on your honor roll. The three painters came to my home on Wed and completed painting on Saturday. Mr. D.K. Oh and his two sons Jeff and Chris were beyond terrific! They showed up at the time they said daily, they cleaned up daily, they did a great job. The most impressive fact was their dedication to pleasing me the client, and the quality of the work is A 1.

The owner, Mr Lee came for an estimate and gave a very thorough explanation of services, provided great references, and had records of all Insurances. Workman were friendly, polite and very neat. Did an excellent job. We have recommended House Painting,Inc to a family member for his commercial building

We've used House Painting Inc for interior painting, and they always do a superb job. They carefully prepped the exterior of the house, patching small cracks and chips in the stucco, and sanding/scraping old paint around windows and doors. They are very punctual, diligent, and neat as they do their work. We are very happy with the quality of the job they did and know it will last for years.

The two-person crew did an excellent job with the prep work being very thorough. They covered all windows and doors to protect them from splatters. They sanded away the old paint and wood splinters. They filled holes with putty and used two coats of primer where needed. They caulked the windows where needed. They covered the primer with a dark coat of paint before applying the finishing coat, which was a high quality paint. Rather than use a spray to apply the paint, they hand brushed everything, ensuring a thicker coat of paint that would last. The entire project was completed in 3 and 1/2 days.

Our painting crew was incredible. Very professional and extremely meticulous. Our house looks incredible. I would recommend this team again in a heartbeat.

Just had them do our exterior in mid-October. James had come by to assess and give an estimate. He was friendly and professional, and explained everything fully. Johnny and Pak did the work - two guys over 5 days. They were EXCELLENT. Polite and professional. They worked very quietly, and kept the property clean even WHILE they were working, not just cleaning up at the end. We love the job they did. Great attention to detail - they covered and cleanly outlined all our non-painted decorative trim. They did the windowsills a separate color. The edges all look great, and clean and straight. I'm very happy I went with this company. It was painless, and the results are better than we wanted.

Mr Yu and his team were meticulous, hard working, unobtrusive, polite and responsive. They protected windows and brick and any areas not be painted very carefully and were thoroughly professional in every way. The few problems that we pointed out were quickly corrected and Mr Yu's own advice about certain choices along the way was very helpful. It was a large 10 day job and they did quality work. The House Painting Inc office staff also called after the job was done to check on our satisfaction and urged us to contact them if we encounter any issues with the job down the road.

James' painting service was the first time I have ever used a paint service for the house. The crew was extremely friendly, efficient, professional and did an outstanding job. They went well above and beyond to ensure the job was done correctly. Once they were done, they told me it would be not problem if I contacted them with anything I may have found they missed or did not paint to my satisfaction. House Painting painted the exterior of our house. From start to finish I was highly impressed with Mr. Lee and his crew. Mr. Lee provided key information from the start. I felt from the date of the estimate that this was the company to choose. Observing the extensive prep work they did showed me their work ethic was extremely high. And along with their stellar work, they were respectful and friendly. I trust them implicitly and will use only them for future jobs. It’s the best job our house has had in 38 years.

I'd give them an A for everything. They did good wok. What else can I say? They did good work. They communicated very nicely.

The painters showed up on time every day. They were punctual and polite. They did a very thorough job of removing light switch and outlet face plates. They covered the floor, mirrors, light fixtures and all other things which we did not want painted. They used the colors requested and did a great job. They painted 10 interior rooms and our garage. After finishing they came back for touch-ups and clean-up, removing any paint that accidentally dripped or splashed anywhere it shouldn't have. They wanted very much to ensure that we were happy and gave us every opportunity to request changes or point out issues. Half was paid up-front and half was paid after completion.

Excellent prep work and took the time to touch up areas that were slightly spotty. The painters also fixed areas where a previous paint job had made mistakes (paint drippings dried on wall and poor dry wall patches).

Excellent. Difficult job handled in four days with a crew of 2-3 very quickly, carefully, quietly, respectfully. And great job painting. Real pros. Even repaired fascia and eve joists that had dry-rot damage. Crew took pains to ensure that dust and debris from sanding and prep work did not get into the house and also contained and removed it all from exterior spaces, no doubt in case it contains lead from older paint layers. Very accurate painting using high quality paint.

David and his team did an outstanding job. They sanded and scraped everything for several days, powerwashed it all, patched the stucco, primed everything, and did two different sheens of main coat plus the trim paint. They were ontime, professional, and took the extra efforts. For example, the wooden door thresholds were not included in the job, but David added a quick varnish coat just to make things look finished. On the last day (which was ahead of schedule), we pointed out a few minor touch ups we wanted, and their team did those plus did some more they found that we didn't even notice - just the type of dedication that you want in a crew. They left me labeled samples of each of the paints. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Went very smooth. They did a good job masking, painting and cleaning up. They also kept me informed as some rain interrupted their timeline.

James Lee came out promptly after I contacted him to give me a quote, He showed me a big binder with photos of his past work and glowing letters of recommendation. I got three quotes: his and other company's were about the same and the other one was about 25% less. I chose James because of the large number of positive Angie's list reviews and his convincing emphasis on the quality of his work and the importance of preparation. My house needed a lot of preparation! I am over-the-top pleased and thrilled with the quality of my 3 man crew's (led by Andrew Chang) work. On the first day of work, Andrew appeared and I walked him around the house, pointing out potential issues and difficult areas, he kept saying "Don't worry, I will make your house beautiful." Having done a major remodel and had had many contractors over the years, I took a "I hope so, but we'll see attitude". Andrew completely delivered on that promise in every way - the quality of the work far exceeded my expectations. He treated my house as if it was his own house - he was not satisfied with anything less than the best possible product. His attitude was always "Or course I can do that", or "Oh yes, that is what I was planning to do" never "That's too hard" or "That's not part of the quote". His crew sanded every single cedar shingle - hundreds of them. He patched every imperfection with great care. Some of my older bay windows had trim with dry rot. He replaced the bad trim with new trim, and the angled corners were perfect! My garage had a bent up wire mesh halfway covering a vent. He found new mesh and replaced it. My house numbers had been painted over by my last painter - he took them down, painted them the right color and replaced them on his own initiative. He suggested that he paint the gutter downspouts the same color as the house - "It will be more beautiful!" and he was right, it was more beautiful. When they were done, they thoroughly brushed off and cleaned the glass on every window - and I have a lot of them. It looks like a brand new house now! If you would like an A++ quality paint job, especially if your house has issues and you want someone to do it right, go with James Lee House Painting. They are the best contractors of any type I have ever dealt with.

James was prompt and professional when he arrived to provide a quote. He not only provided us with references and job scope when he was there - he also provided us the quote on the spot. We had two other companies come out - neither provided an on the spot quote, one seemed like we were wasting his time. This was one of the best experiences I have had with contractors. They were flexible about when we needed the job done (we had to delay because other work was way behind schedule), but were always on time with their scheduled work. The work was done meticulously, much better than I expected from previous painting experience. I would recommend them without any reservations.

House Painting Inc. did a fantastic job on my home. From start to finish they were on time, very meticulous in their work, and kept the job site (my yard!) neat and clean. I would use them again in a heartbeat. They repaired cracks in my stucco, replaced rotted wood around my windows and tested the color on my house so I could see how it would look. They protected every plant, piece of furniture, patios, walkways, etc. to make certain that no paint ended up where it shouldn't be. I appreciated their attention to the smallest details. I did a lot of research before selectiing House Painting Inc. The crew did a meticulous, highly professional job in protecting the nearby plants, in sanding and prepping, and painting the exterior vertical redwood boards and wood window trim. The interior work was done in an excellent manner as well. During ou 42 years of ownership, our home has been repainted several times. House Painting Inc did the best job by far. We are contemplating future interior painting and we intend to use House Painting Inc when that time comes

Personnel were knowledgeable, professional and polite, and offered helpful comments and advice about the job when solicited. Job was completed on schedule, and on budget.
