James Lee came out to review the job within 2 hours of my request & I received a thorough proposal the same day. His price was the lowest of 3 bids received. His crew of 3 came promptly each day, were professionally dressed, worked hard. Before starting, we explained what we wanted. As needed, they asked for clarification before proceeding. The preparation sanding and patching was done carefully. Our brick driveway & concrete areas were covered for protection. Windows were covered in plastic. All work was completed in 4 days, for the agreed on price. We were completely satisfied with the work. We highly recommend House Painting, Inc.

I want to relate our experiences with “House Painting. Inc”. Mr. James Lee responded to our initial telephone call within a day and came out to inspect our house the following day. He provided us with a very thorough inspection of our house and determined what was needed to be done. In addition, he recommended ways to improve drainage around the house and care of brick walkways. Mr. Lee provided us with a complete description of the job, evidence of licensing and insurance coverages and letters of recommendations from past customers. In the end, he provided us a very honest and straightforward quote. We were scheduled to begin work in two weeks, but because of good weather, our job was moved up 3 full days ahead of schedule. The crew assigned to our job was David, the foreman and two assistants. They began promptly at 8am and worked tirelessly until 5 pm everyday. They were experts in every way scraping, sanding and repairing our weathered stucco and wood framed house. At the end of each day, they would meticulously clean the areas around the house and pick up any debris. The crew was very polite, and David would advise us of the day’s progress. He was very helpful. At the end of all their work, our house looked magnificent! The house looks perfect in everyway! I highly recommend Mr. James Lee and the House Painting, Inc. to all my friends. I would not hesitate to use them again.

This is the second time we've worked with House Painting, Inc. and we love them. For both our interior and then our exterior the job was done beautifully by incredibly pleasant and skilled workers. In both cases great care was taken to protect our furnishings/landscaping. The painters were conscientious, professional and thorough. The price was fair and represented great value for money, particularly given the quality of the personnel, the job and the customer service. We couldn't be happier!

Everything went very well. They scraped off all the old, power washed and re-painted in 3 days and everything was put back the way they found it

While it was more expensive than I had anticipated (due to hand painting of wrought iron on windows and gate), I am very happy that I had hired House Painting for the job and would recommend them heartily. James Lee came out, explained the process, showed me his company's license and insurance, examples of work done at other places, a list of contacts for reference. He was very thorough and organized. I had read reviews on Angies' List and double checked them against those on Yelp which were equally excellent. The painters (team of 2) who came out were professional, prompt, hard-working, and meticulous. It was a 5-day job. After they had finished late Friday, they offered to repaint my outside lamp that needed a new coat really badly. This was not in the contract and I am sure they were tired at the end of the day; but for them to do that additional little task was a delight to us and very much appreciated!

Job went absolutely fine. The 3 man crew assigned was extremely professional, polite, and quiet for the entire 2 weeks that was required. They communicated quite well about the next days work each day so that we could anticipate what was needed of us. They cleaned up at the end of each day, and on the completion of the job. I would definitely use them again.

On a scale of 1-10, House Painting Inc gets a 12! They painted the exterior of our 2-story house and the results were excellent. The cost was very reasonable (between the highest and lowest bids we received), the prep work was thorough, and daily clean-up was diligent. They often left the area cleaner than when they arrived. The painters were always on-time, worked hard the full day, minimized any impact on us, and did excellent work. This is a professional organization; they deliver on their promises.

Fantastic work! Initial exterior painting in 2011 was done flawlessly and still looks good except that the front of my home acquired some water damage due to improperly installed gutter. Mr. Lee was very helpful in identifying the problem. He also gave some excellent suggestions regarding water stains and pooling on my property. After getting the water problems fixed, I went ahead and had House Painting repaint the front of my house, and touch up some interior areas. The crew was fantastic for both jobs. There was a very professional foreman, Johnny, who was there every day. He went over the plans and the progress each day. For both exterior and interior, the crew was meticulous in protecting surrounding areas from dust or paint and for the clean up. These are professionals who take their time to prep surfaces properly and let them dry before painting. Could not be more pleased in all aspects of their work and will certainly call upon this company for any painting in the future.

They were very professional and remembered me from prior work done. They also finished before their estimated time. I'm very happy and satisfied with their service.

We had the exterior of the house painted. It was a big job at more than a week with 3 people. They were prompt, every day cleaned up, and addressed the little concerns we had along the way with no problems. Not the cheapest, but 6+ months later -- its a quality paint job that was well done!

House Painting Inc painted our 2-story house in 8 days. They did a flawless job, great workmanship, always on time. Half the time was spent on patching, sending, prepping, power washing, vine removal which no prior company has done to this extent and this well over the last 15 years. The difference matters. Previously we have had an invasion of an army of half-trained folks completing the job in 5 days, sometimes covering entire vines on the side of the house with paint without removing them. The extra $s definitely were worth it and a fair price. Great job! Once we get ready to paint the inside we'll be calling them again.

Hyung and Sandy painted 5 days and did a great job. They even painted some extra louvered doors so they would match the wall paint. They were very detailed and I was very pleased. I recommend the pair if you can get them. I have a feeling James Lee has a large crew and if depends on who is available.

House Painting was awesome! They were detailed and took their time painting my home. My home needed a lot of sanding and prep work, and they didn't try to take shortcuts. My house looks like a new home now! I picked my colors, and they even guided me on which colors to use for accents and which to use for trim. I would recommend House Painting to anyone!

His quote was 60% higher that all other quotes. It seems that if you rent house/apartment you get charged more. 1200 sq. House

These guys were great! I had the same crew every day, led by Abraham. He was very patient with me as I couldn't decide on the color. He brought me several paint samples over several days. Not only does the paint job look wonderful, but they also took great care to not trample my many plants that were close to the house, and not let my two dogs escape during the entire 8 day process. NO mess left behind. Highly recommend!

James Lee has been my go to painter for many years and I have referred friends and family to his company. I just had the outside of my house painted and again it is the best looking house on the street. It is so rare for painters to begin by tying back my plants and covering them. They then dig a trench several inches around the house to patch the stucco below the dirt line, even though it isn’t seen. Their attention to detail is second to none. James only has the best of the best when it comes to hiring a great crew. They are a credit to James Lee’s professionalism. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, there are painters and there are painters who are craftsmen and James Lee only employs craftsmen. Once again, thank you James.

Top top top notch. We couldn't have been more impressed. We had a 3 person crew headed up by Andrew who has been painting homes and buildings for 26 years. They painted our 1400 sft Spanish Revival in about a week and it turned out incredible. Our house was in major disrepair and they spent about 3/4 of the time prepping the job - scraping, patching, priming, etc. The painting itself did not take that long and having said, it was done meticulously. They didn't spill a drop. When the time comes, we are going to have them do our interior, as well. We couldn't recommend this company enough.

I left a message with the receptionist around 3 pm on Jan. 15 and had to keep repeating my information 3 times. I was told someone would return my call. No one did. The following day, Jan. 16, I phoned again. The person who answered the phone had no record that I called yesterday. Again, she asked for my info all over again, such as property address etc. It seems they are so disorganized that I keep having to leave messages over and over again with all pertinent info but never get a response.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of this company. They prepped for days, completed the job promptly, cleaned up each day. They called a few months later to make sure I was happy and offered to come back anytime if I had an issue. They've painted many houses in my neighborhood. I would highly recommend!!!
