James Lee came over to my house for a free estimate. He was very professional and made a wonderful presentation. I knew that I was in the right hands and needed to look no further. We set a date for my house to be painted. When Andrew and his crew arrived to paint the house, I was equally impressed by their professionalism. Andrew told me on that first day "I'm going to give you a new house", and he did. The house looks wonderful. It took six days from start to finish. The first three days were spent in the preparation. They sanded, replaced rotten wood, plastered , patched and primed. By the fourth day they started painting. The last two days were spent on the brush finish work. They always arrived on time and cleaned up after they were done. I couldn't be happier and I would use them again.

Went great painted the inside of the house in a few days and did a wonderful job the house looks amazing. The crew was very polite walked us through the house to make sure that everything was good and it sure is. Whenever I need a touch up here we'll for sure call them again.

They painted the interior of our house downstairs. This included very high cathedral ceilings and circular stair case area which also went up to cathedral ceiling height. They were very meticulous about moving furniture as needed and covering everything with plastic as well as totally covering floors. When they were done we never found any paint drops anywhere. They were punctual and pleasant. We have an open floor plan and they had to match the paint in the kitchen which we had recently had redone and got it exactly right. They even did some touch up in the kitchen because they thought the kitchen remodelers hadn't done a perfect job. We had used them previously to do the outside and didn't hesitate to call them again.

They did a well done and completed it in the timeframe agreed upon.

Price range was median priced and somewhat fair. It wasn't the cheapest, and it wasn't the highest. I didn't end up going with House Painting Inc. They were nice enough to call me and followup with me a couple of days later to see if i had any questions. That was pretty nice of them.

I'm extremely satisfied. And I would recommend them to anybody. I have nothing bad to say about them. They did a great job. If I have any more painting projects, I will call them. I can't say enough good things about them.

They send a team of two guys to paint interior of our house. They did extremely good job. Kept everything clean, covered lamps and what not (house was empty, without any furniture). My wife selected colors that she liked, gave them paper samples that she got from HomeDepot, and they matched it. They also used high quality paint, and there is no smell of paint when they were done. They are also very competitively priced, as I got quotes from other A+ contractors from Angie's List and House Painting had the best offer. They came back one week later to do touch ups. Overall, very satisfied! When I will be ready to repaint exterior of the house, I will use their services again.

Mr Lee came himself to view the house and gave me an estimate immediately. HE had references with him and copies of his license. He gave me a list of homes nearby (within approx. 10 miles) where I could go to see his work. When he gave me the quote, I told him it was higher than I expected, and that I had found him on Angie's List. and when he returned to the office and sent me the written quote (within 3 hours) he had given me a discount. IT was much appreciated. I got two other quotes, one was much higher and one was comparable, but he was the most professional, the quickest to give me solid numbers in writing (email) and the most detailed in his explanation of what they would do. The office kept in contact with me and they waited while I made my decision. EVERYONE on the office side was as gracious and polite and knowledgeable. Amazing! On the date we set Joe came out with a team of two and we went over the details again. He gave me several paint samples and later even gave me his full packet of colors to keep overnight and pick colors from. He brought me samples of 4 colors that I picked and we put them up on the front of the house to see them in different lights. The neighbors even came over to see the choices and we were looking at! the team was great and the decision to close up the extra door was made and executed beautifully. ( I did pay extra for that, but Joe quoted me right away, so I could decide in time whether to add the expense or not - glad I did and that number is included in the cost I submitted). This was a thoroughly great experience from start to finish. The team was here for a week, they were clean, removed items on the patio to paint it and put them back where I asked them to at the end. When I paint the inside of the house, I'm calling them immediately. By the way, I even had to call Joe in the early evening once to make a change and he answered the phone and completed the changes the next day. A big thanks to everyone House Painting Inc. from start to finish this was really great - the house looks wonderful too!!

They did a great job on short notice with limited time. Their preparation is really exceptional and they take great care to protect floors etc. paint job is great and completely cleaned up afterwards. This is the third time I have used them. They are really the best.

I chose this company based on all the positive reviews. Scheduling the job was easy, they are very flexible. James Lee was punctual, he explained the steps to be done, provided information on the paint and references about the company. The day of job, Abraham and his team arrived early and started working immediately. Everyday they started and finished on time. I changed my decision on the paint color few times and Abraham was patient and provided his professional input which help me finally decided on the color. James was very responsive on all my requests. The job was completed on time as discussed, the paint job was well done, they were neat and professional and they did an outstanding job. When I am ready to do some interior painting, i will use this company again.

These guys are awesome. They were punctual, professional, and they did very clean, neat work. The guys who came out were Johnny, Martin, and Kim, and the three of them seem to be a very good team. I'm impressed that they did things "right". They removed electrical faceplates, lined the floor, masked around items, and draped plastic over furniture. They fixed the leftover screw holes in the walls, and smoothed out some of the bumps. I'm particularly impressed with one wall that plumbers had previously punched a hole in (it was big--1 ft x 2 ft). The wall had been patched by someone send by the plumber, and the wall was left an unsightly white mess. House Painting Inc came in and made the patch completely disappear. When James came to do the estimate, he said that the wall wouldn't look perfect when they were done, but it looks pretty darn perfect to me. I can't even see where the patch was. The guys did a really wonderful job. They prepped thoroughly, and they cleaned every speck of dust up when they were done. They were courteous, and very pleasant to have around. Highly recommend.

Waste of time contacting them using the Angie's List scheduler/email system. Immediately got an obviously automated response asking me to call with my availability which I just provided. The non-local operator quoted me my address which was obviously computer scraped out of the text of my email. Not even close to the actual address. Comical. They only "come to Los Angeles" between 10am and 2pm. Where can they be if they aren't in the 2nd largest City in the U.S. already? The operator couldn't even comprehend the suffix of the street name. Had to explain repeatedly the "terrace" was just like "avenue, boulevard, way, court, etc." Lengthy amount of info given just to find out they aren't local and available in a reasonable time frame to give estimates. So far Angie's List in general has been just a yellow-pages. I'll stick with Yelp.

We had a great experience. The price quote was very competitive and more importantly the painting job was excellent. We had a 2-men crew painting the whole interior in about 4 days. Everyday the crew was punctual and very organized. They set up and cleaned up great. We will hire them again for the next painting job.

these guys from house painting inc were real good. Got the kitchen painted and it looked great made my wife real happy. They also touched up a room which looks a lot better now. And also fixed a door for us that was not shutting right. The price was a bit high but not too bad i would say its worth it do to the job they did.

Workers, Ho, Chris, and Jeff arrived on time everyday, except their day off - Sunday, and worked a full day, until the job was finished. They were friendly and professional, helpful in very way, even dealing with some minor repairs. The painting was neat and clean and thorough. They were very patient while I made some small changes along the way. Plants, landscaping, and outdoor furniture were protected while they worked and replaced when the job was finished. Clean up, when job was completed, was thorough. My $100 dollar off Angie's List coupon and senior discount was freely accepted. We are very happy with the work and would definitely hire House Painting, Inc. again, and will be happy to refer them to others.

James did a thorough inspection and gave us the phone numbers of 2 texture guys that could spot match the current texture of our walls. He said to give him a call when the texture work was done and he'd come back out. Thanks, James.

I had James Lee, the owner come over and give me a bid. He was very complete with his company information. He had license and bonding info and addresses from all his previous jobs. Once the job started, Andrew and his co-workers prepped the house for three days. They were hard workers and very professional. When a problem developed, Andrew was very good at explaining my different options. The whole job was done in 5 days and the house looks beautiful.

They were great. Came on time every day. Prep work extremely well done so finished work really looks good. Very careful to protect shrubs era. Cleaned up every day and final day cleaned up and everything put back

Mr. Lee and his workers are one of the best service I've ever had! He came quickly to provide estimate, a really good price. And show up ahead of schedule to get the work going. Through out the process, they were professional, very attentive to my needs, willing to be flexible to accommodate my other remodeling work schedule, keep the work space extremely clean, did a beautiful job, and on top of that, every single one of them are super friendly and easy to work with! I don't know how I'd ever be able to find any better painting company like them, will definitely use their service and recommend them to my friends! Thank you Mr. Lee and Johnny!! :)

I had 3 bids on the paint and house painting inc was the most expensive of the 3 but because they advertise all the work that they will do and promised a big crew--I decided to go with them. They did not do the prep work that they promised they will do. I expected a power washing on the exterior paint but did not happen. They just patched up the crack on the wall. I had asked the workers who painted the exterior to take down a couple of old awnings and they did a good job and did not complain. I had a difficult time communicating with them. Once James did the initial bid--I never saw him again. I had questions for him and could not get a hold of him at times. They advertise they have a big crew to do the job and only two guys showed up both for the ext. and int. The interior guys did not seem to know what they are doing although they claim to have 30 years of experience painting. The lead painter for the interior was always on the phone instead of working. The interior workers told me that did not patch up walls. I had multiple subs in the house at a given time but the painters for the interior did not seem to know how to deal with that. The prep work in the interior was very poor. When we pulled the carpet the base was just re-painted and not sanded properly. The old moldings were just re-painted and not sanded. When they came back to re-touch the paint, the interior lead guy was just complaining the whole time. I will not use them again.

From day 1 to the end the work was excellent, and 2 painters were very good and clean. I will use House painting again in the future.
