Paint job was exceptional. Included main two story residence, detached garage, side picket fence, and rear yard retaining wall. The work was performed by Abraham and his assistant. I was very satisfied with their work and focus to detail. I also had Abraham hang some window shutters. Did great job. Additionally he was able to help me secure multiple window casements with eye hooks because they didn't close properly. Required sanding and smoothing, due to warping from years of wear from outside exposure. Abraham is a true gentlemen. Did a wonderful job. Windows now close perfectly. Every request I made for extra attention to project was met with complete compliance. I wouldn't hesitate to using House Painting Inc. again.

My estimate went so well and the price was fabulous. It took me a little time to save up but once I was ready we were scheduled to have the job started about a week and a half later. Painters showed up and we're very polite and pleasant explained the process and got to work. They even took down some old satellite dishes for me and did great path work on some tough spots. They offered to paint the front door if I chose a color and he was so sweet he wanted it to be perfect and said it could take an insane amount of coats I told him not to do more then a certain number bc it wasn't worth it to me for him to put in that much effort. I was so appreciative of his care and consideration. They worked so hard and started on Monday and we're done by lunch time Thursday! I couldn't be more pleased and already have given his info out to 3 people.

Mr. Lee and his crew at House Painting, Inc. were consummate professionals throughout the entire process. Our recently purchased house was in rough shape with portions of the wood trim peeling and stucco damage. Mr. Lee and the guys meticulously repaired the damage and now have the house looking great. As some have commented previously, quality prep work is key to the overall finish. The crew spent a solid two days prepping the site, and then did an excellent job with the primer and paint. The guys would also check in on our satisfaction as the job was going on, proving that customer service is a big priority for them. If have absolutely no hesitation in giving the "A's" across the board and will use them in the future.

Did extremely thorough prep job. Painted stucco exterior and all trim. Painted all doors. Trenched next to house to paint this area. Addressed and abated mildew areas. All damaged stucco areas were patched. Applied waterproof sealer in damaged areas. After all repairs and patches were done and all areas wire brushed or otherwise cleaned up, the entire areas were power washed. House was then primed and then painted with two coats. The site manager, Abraham, explained everything that they did. He also asked when there was any decision to be made.

James was impressive with his references and punctuality. The crew showed up on time everyday, worked professionally and cleaned up. The job was done very well and on time.

I met with James Lee for the estimate. After the appointment, he provided me with an estimate the very same day. I decided to go with this company because of this initial appointment. The estimates from other companies were about the same. They completed the work in about 3 days. They did an excellent job. My husband and I were very impressed by the work and are very happy with the work. I would definitely recommend this company to others looking for good house painters.

This is long overdue, but I am going to add to the chorus of praise for James Lee House Painting. My house has a crappy spray on stucco that had been peeling off for some time. It wasn't in my budget to scrape it all off and re-stucco the entire building, so James came out and suggested that they could scrape off the peeling areas and try as best they could to match the texture. All for a very reasonable price. After his famous presentation of his license and letters from his happy customers, I was sold. Our crew's foreman was Andrew and he was just great. They came on time every morning, and cleaned up after themselves before they left. If it weren't for the fact that they kept some of their ladders in the backyard over night you couldn't have guessed that there was work going on. I understood fully that patching the stucco was not ideal, and Andrew kept reiterating that he would try his best but no promises. His best was amazing. I was blown away how well they were able to seamlessly match the texture. And from the looks of it the patches will likely last a very long time. The new color on the house and trim came out amazing, too. We couldn't be happier. This was by far and away the best experience I've ever had with a contractor. I seriously wish James would expand his business to other areas of home improvement! He has earned my business for life.

From our initial estimate meeting to the negotiating of our contract to the actual painting of our home-- really great communication and everything that was done was timely and terrific. Andrew Chang takes real pride in his job and he's done it for 25 years. It was a pleasure having him oversee this job. They sent us a great crew they painted our living room and one of our bedrooms. They worked hard and had our walls looking real nice. Overall great job by these guys would call them again in the future.

I contacted House Painting Inc., based on reviews on Angie's list, to paint two interior bathrooms and the trim on both my house and detached garage. Mr. James Lee came out that day to look at the job and promised an estimate by the end of the day. His estimate arrived via email that evening. I reviewed the estimate. Because the work had to be coordinated with additional garage improvements, I waited to find out their schedule before responding. I responded via email that I had accepted his proposal. I was contacted on that evening by someone from House Painting about the start date. We set October 9 as the start date. I was contacted the day before and asked whether I wanted to start exterior or interior painting first. I told them exterior. We set an 8:30 a.m. start time. Mr. Shin with two assistants was there at 8:15 a.m. on October 9th to start the exterior painting. They worked efficiently and diligently. I asked him when the exterior painting would start, so that I could clear the bathrooms of toiletries. He called the firm and they offered to be there the next day (October 10th), if that worked for me. It did and Mr. Kim and one assistant showed up on the 10th. The work of both Mr. Shin and Mr. Kim was top notch. They prepared efficiently, wasting no time. By October 11, both the exterior and interior work was finished. The final product showed quality workmanship. Painting can be a hassle for a resident, but both Mr. Shin and Mr. Kim made this as painless as possible for me. I am very happy with how things turned out.

We have been in our house for 40years and have had many less than desirable contractor experiences over time. House Painting, Inc. exceeded our expectations by a mile. I had used House Painting Inc for the exterior of my house a few years ago and I am still amazed at the quality and that it has stood up the elements so far. For this job, I had a bit of a hiccup. I called and James didn't call me back. So I called again a few days later, and James responded immediately and he had the guys working the next day. The cost was a bit high, but well worth it because his guys are total professionals. There was a lot of prep work involved because they were painting over knotty pine paneling. There was a lot of fill and prep work as well as a heavy duty priming involved. Although it seems like a lot of money for one room, it was a two day job and the guys worked hard. I would say that in this case, I got what I paid for, an excellent job that should last for years.

These guys are pros. They did a fantastic job - quick, thorough, and neat. We had an open house scheduled and as we moved furniture out to make rooms appear larger, we realized that we really needed a paint job.

They did an outstanding job! We were quoted by another company for the same exact job for $9,000. The crew was so thorough. I don't think the trim had ever been painted correctly. They took the time to sand, scrape and make repairs before they even painted. They were on time, provided us with references and a copy of their insurance. We had an estimate appointment first so he knew exactly what needed to be done and the quote was provided within the week if not a couple of days.

Paul and his team did a great job in painting both the exterior and interior of my home. He was very helpful in helping choose the colors. When I changed my mind on one of the colors after a part of the house was painted, Paul was very patient and understanding and the change was made without any problems. The job started and finished on time. The estimate that Paul gave was very competitive with other estimates that I got. I will use House Painting Inc for any future work I may need.

We chose to go with Mr. Lee's company because we believed the work would be well done and that the experience would be good. We had this impression based on our interactions with Mr. Lee, by the reviews on Angie's List, and from conversations with his references. Song and Victor were the painters who worked on our house. They were polite and prompt. The outside area was left in good shape at the end of each day. We did not include a stucco wall in our request but they painted it at no extra cost. The quality of their work was excellent. One of the shutters was hung upside down. We noticed a small issue after the job was done, on a Saturday. We called that day and Song returned that afternoon to make the correction. Overall, my wife and I are very, very happy with this company's work. This was one of the best experiences we have had with a contractor. We highly recommend this company.

Johnnie and his team were excellent! They were punctual, prepared, efficient and extremely hard working. It was a very hot week and we don't have AC. They were neat, friendly, courteous and quiet. They cleaned up after each day. We are very pleased with the results and would definitely hire they for our next project.

These guys were always on time and always staying busy. They painted our main rooms the living room, dining room, and the kitchen. These guys did a beautiful job loved the way our rooms look I couldn't ask any better thanks.

They covered everything from floors to furniture, carefully ran masking tape around edges and base boards. They removed all the electrical plates, patched up holes and cracks. They were punctual, courteous, clean - always cleaned up before they left, efficient and quick.
