Rafi came right over (unscheduled) when he heard about what had happened. He spent a few minutes here securing the parts of the circuit that were damaged and made them safe, and then attended to a previously scheduled appointment. He then came back and performed the repairs, and took care of a number of other items (like the damaged power cord) that I did not expect him to look at. We will definitely use him again when the need arises and when we eventually decide to rewire the house, we'll give him a call.

I was very pleased with Rafi's work on relocating and upgrading our electrical panel. Our old panel had Zinsco breakers that were still working, but we wanted to get them replaced with a more modern (and safer) design as well as upgrade our service from 100 to 200 Amp. We got quotes from 3 different Electricians for this job. Rafi's quote was in the middle of the three, and only a small percentage higher than the lowest quote. We went with his quote since due to his proximity to our location. I also liked dealing with him better than the others. Rafi had a busy schedule with other jobs, but since we weren't in hurry to get this mostly-preventative maintenance job completed that was not a problem for us. Rafi was clear with us that he would be doing our job in stages and that was fine with us. People on a very tight schedule should check his availability to make sure he can accommodate their needs. Rafi did a great, highly-professional job for us and I would highly recommend him.

Three of my electrical outlets in my kitchen had stopped working. I called an electrician to fix the problem. That electrician Andrew Clark Construction spent about an hour and could not figure out the problem. I decided to call Rafi after reading the reviews on this site. Rafi came to my house about one hour later. Rafi was much more thorough in troubleshooting the problem. He went up to the attic and traced the electrical signals throughout the house and finally found the problem. There was a burnt outlet in another room that was connected to the same line. He replaced the outlet. I recommend Rafi to anyone looking for an electrician.

Called Rafi to install a couple of ceiling fans (where there was no box in the ceiling), along with new switches, and to install a cell phone amplifier. He did a great job, the ceiling fans work perfectly, and the cell phone amplifier works great! I was worried that all the electricians I called have never done something like this, but Rafi is a smart guy and was able to figure it out -- which actually is a bit tricky, if you do it wrong, you get oscillations and it won't work properly. But Rafi's installation was perfect and very clean, and amazingly now I get 5 bars inside the house, where before I only got 1-2 bars. Very satisfied, and will definitely call him again when it is time to do other electrical work in the house.

The work went very well overall. From first contact with Anavar to the final testing of our landscape lighting system, the process was efficient and satisfying.

Rafi did an amazing job. Starting with the visit to give us an estimate to knowing we needed the job done quickly and calling us just days after to do the work. He went above and beyond his electrical expertise. He set up a call system for us, discovered wires that needed to be fixed and replaced them, helped set up our lighting and cut our space in our gate for our mailbox. He was efficient, kind, and fair in his prices. He pointed out things that needed to be fixed and did them. I would use him again and again.

On a hunch, I decided to call Rafi who had previously saved me from another potentially costly electrical issue. On the phone he said it was not a serious problem and he would stop by the same day after his last appointment. Sure enough, he stopped by and very quickly resolved the problem and just charged me for a service call. The original garage door installer had done a rush job and one of the connections was not properly secured. My hunch about Rafi was once again correct. Thanks!!!

I called Raffi a few weeks prior to the install and requested a particular day since I would need to request time off from my job. Raffi agreed he could do the job on that day and we set a tentative time. Raffi called me a few days prior to the install to confirm the appointment. Raffi showed up on schedule and assessed what needed to be done and gave me a price. I agreed and he went to work, he explained all that he did, he cleaned up, and checked the finished job. I was very pleased with his honesty, his work product, and will highly recommend him.

He had to research some antique type parts to work with our existing box, which he did obtain, to make our old box work.

The results were better than I thought possible. Rafi and his crew cut minmal amount of holes in the drywall and repatched them all. Rafi had EDison run a new power line (and a new power pole) into the house.Our house had been added onto several different times before we bought it and not always with the best products. I'm now confident about the power in the house. With Rafi there was never any suprises and he stayed within the rstimate. I highly recommend Anavar Elecric and would hire them again but with the great job that they did I probably won't have to.

Rafi expertly used new, not rebuilt, breakers to correct our electrical problems. He could have replaced a third breaker that was not functioning well, but suggested that it was better to delay this so we could match the breaker to the new air conditioning equipment. Rafi clearly described the options we had in addressing these problems and suggested cost-effective solutions without compromizing quality. We will call on him for any additional electrical needs.

I approached Anavar Electric after reading his profile on Angie?s List. Rafi turned out to be a great electrician and it was a pleasure working with him. He analyzes the job thoroughly and very carefully before presenting his estimate. His estimate was accurate and there were no surprises. He was prompt, punctual, considered and always cleaned before he left for the day. Listening to his practical suggestions saved me some hard earned money. Many thanks and I intend to call him in the future for my remodeling projects.

AC circuit breaker had tripped, a common occurrence, but this time could not be reset. Turned out to be a short. After calling another electrical company and being told that they could do an immediate estimate but couldn't schedule an electrician for three weeks, I called Rafi at Anavar. He was on another job but took the call and agreed to stop by afterwards to look at problem. He ran some tests, found the short, retrieved a fuse box from his truck and fixed within 20 minutes. Honored his initial hour service fee ($125) by staying to answer my many questions about AC installation; provided advice, information and contacts. Very happy with the prompt service, helpful explanations, and final result.

He showed up on time discussed the job with me so I knew what needed to be done. He completed the job in the time estimated and did an excellent job.

I called Raffi and described what I wanted to have fixed. Raffi stopped by the next day to take a look and give me an estimate. We set up appointment for the following week. He arrived on time and quickly went to work. He had some tricky space to deal with when replacing the attic fan, but no problems. I had called prior to the appointment and told him that I changed my mind and did want a control switch added to the fan. Raffi was able to make that happen and found a perfect place to hide the switch in my water heater closet. It was a perfect solution. The fan is incredibly quiet now and does the job. While he was adding the control switch, Raffi heard me talking sternly to my computer. He asked what was wrong and was able to fix a problem with my wireless modem that the cable company was unable to deal with. YEAH!!! I so appreciated that. Raffi continued to work on my to do list for the entire morning, while making suggestions to help and/or save money. He is good at what he does, is professional, and very pleasant to have in the home. I am pleased to have found an electrician that I trust, whom I believe looks out for his customers. I will definitely use him again and highly recommend him to all!

We had purchased the wrong attic fan, so he drove my husband to Home Depot to get another one. He was really nice and professional.

I would highly recommend Rafi. The bathroom light install on the mirror was a bit of a challenge since the original lighting fixture template was off center and partly hidden behind by the mirror. The track cable lighting system also had the wrong type of dimmer switch, which Rafi pointed out. He came back a few days later and installed the correct electromagnetic dimmer for low-voltage lighting. Rafi showed up on time for his two visits and knew his stuff.

We had a light in a bathroom that needed to be replaced which was a simple, quick and inexpensive thanks to Rafi. Then we also had a much more complicated gate intercom system and doorbell that was not in working condition. Rafi put in a lot of time researching different options for our needs and came up with a intercom & doorbell that is working great for us.We were very appreciative of all his time and effort that he put in to our job.Would definitely use him again and recommend him for other people's electrical jobs.
