 + -1 moreThis was a new property that I purchased so I wanted to rekey it for safety reasons. Jacob was outstanding. He gave me extra keys without any extra charge. He also helped me with locks which were placed upside down and backwards on several of the doors and these were adjusted for free. He went out of his way to help further protect my property by resetting the garage door so that any prior owner with saved settings in their car cannot open it. This service was complimentary as well.

 + -1 moreThe owner of the company came to repair my lock. He called about 20 minutes before my scheduled time to see if it was ok if he came early. When he arrived, he was personable and knowledgeable about locks. I had asked him to replace the lock. When he looked at the lock, he discovered that he could make it work. He could have replaced the lock or told me that it needed a lot of work. Instead, he told me the truth, even though he lost money by doing so. He only charged me a minimal fee for the service call. He's a great guy, and I will definitely use him in the future.

He gave me several different options on the rekeying (e.g., having all locks rekeyed to the same key or not) and even helped me out with a faulty handleset.  + -1 moreI called Spirit Locksmith the week before to schedule my appointment for the following week. At that time he gave me a rough estimate of the cost regarding the services I wanted performed. Jacob arrived as scheduled and performed his duties well and was very efficient. I am happy with the service I received. The only thing that I would suggest of Angie's List is more information on the "special deal" that was offered. In other words, I paid to Angie's list, instead of Spirit Locksmith, the normal $18 charge for the service call. So where is the savings? In reality I paid a total of $111.00 for the service. Had I not needed this work done and knowing what I now know, I would have passed on the "deal." I'll be more careful next time about taking you up on these so called "deals" that you offer. I am though happy with the service I received from Spirit Locksmith and will recommend them to friend.
Description of Work: Replaced one lock and rekeyed another lock so now I have one key that matches both doors.

I was very impressed and will call again in future.He did the whole job in about 30 minutes , how in the heck could Toyota take three hours and still not fix this,UNBELIEVABLE
Description of Work: I needed to have my keys and my remotes for my 2005 toyota tacoma sinked together so they all work. I went to the toyota dealership in the morning and they told me it would be $95 and 2-3 hours to do proceedure. So I gave them my keys and started walking around killing time. I went and had breakfast and I went shopping in a couple other stores whatever I could do to waste time. I then returned to dealership and sat another 1.5 hours and they approached me and told me I needed a new master key and that it was going to cost a little over three hundred dollars. I couldnt believe it so I told them not to do it to return my car and I left very disappointed. I then came home and decided to check here on angieslist and I came across this company spirit locksmith. I proceeded to call and received this gentleman named Jcob and told him of my delema and he advised me he could do it for $75 . I thought howcan this be so I said come over and he did ,was on time and knocked it right out. I was so impressed I gave him a tip and said Im going to give you a perfect rating immediately and here it is. Use spirit locksmith for any lock needs you wont go wrong.
