Signature Painting

Working with Signature Painting is exactly what I didn't want to encounter during my home renovation, and why I signed up with Angie's List in the first place. I wish I'd pick any other painter on Angie's List! After purchasing 2 of the $399 for 2 painters for a day (a $798 total), I waited and waited to hear back about scheduling. When I finally contacted Signature Painting, the project manager suggested coming out the following day at 2pm to view the job. He never showed. When I called him at 2:30 to see if he was still coming, he acted like we hadn't spoken the day prior and confirmed a time. He then said he would try to get to me within 20 minutes. He arrived 45 minutes later, looked around for 5 minutes, said someone would be out on Sunday and Monday to do the work and left. I then immediately received an email from the company telling me that I couldn't purchase two deals from Angie's List and I would need to pay them an additional $400 to do the job if I wanted any work done. This harassment continued nonstop until I handed over a check for additional funds to this joke of a company Thursday as the painters finally left. Painters came and did not finish a full day's worth of painting Sunday. Painters requested more paint (they burned through 5 gallons painting nothing) and then no-showed Monday morning on me. When I tried to find someone at the Signature Painting office to figure out if they were coming out and when, I was again told no one would be out until I paid them more money to finish the already paid for work. To get the first 3 rooms finished from Sunday's sloppy job, I paid additional money and painters finally arrived the following Thursday. When all was said and done, of the 6 rooms I paid for and wanted painted, only 4 were completed. Plus, I am out additional money while waiting on refunds. And I now have to pay for someone to remove all of the paint stains and spills off of my tile, carpet, cabinets and counters. Don't hire this company! They are truly terrible.

This was wonderful! They were very polite and eager to please. They painted the outside of my mobile home did a superb job of painting. They cleaned up after themselves beautifully. There was nothing I could say against them, they are just perfect.

VERY happy with the results. VERY thorough, polite, cleaned up and left the place in good condition. I plan to use them on another project and I will post the results on this as well.

Signature Painting did an excellent job from the first communication. Alex came to my house to give me an estimate and was very nice and professional. Because I am doing a bathroom remodel, I didn't start the paint job until about three months after my estimate. It was no problem. I was finally ready to schedule the painting and the crew showed up on time and ready to go. They asked me about paint colors, and once they had those, one guy was off to the paint store while the other two started the prep work. They were careful to place most of my furniture outside and wrap the rest in plastic (due to ceiling being painted). I really appreciate that they were careful with my things and that they took their time doing the job. There is nothing worse than having people do a rush job and then the work looks horrible. Signature Painting took their time and my rooms look fantastic. (They used great paint too--it was actually the same paint I had used for my sampling!) My remodel is still finishing up, and in the process of doing the last minute installs, the walls got marked up. I tried doing some touch ups on my own, but it just doesn't look good at all. I called up Alex to ask if the guys can come and touch up a few walls for me. He said no problem at all. I really appreciate the customer service--so hard to find now a days. I would highly recommend using Signature Painting. Not only is their work excellent, but their prices are also very good. Thank you, Signature Painting. I will be using you again in the future.

Signature painting was very attentive and did the job on time with a smile. They never said no to our requests and they finished on time. I would recommend them and I will used them again.

Everything turned out great. They arrived on time, did a good job with the doors, and didn't leave behind any messes.

Day he is supposed to show up, the guy never appeared. Nor did he call to inform me that he was late or canceling. I spent a day waiting for the guy and he never followed up with an apology or reschedule. If a company is too busy to fulfill the simplest obligation, beware what else could be at risk of being not completed.

They are fast and thorough. I would highly recommend them.

I really couldn't say anything negative if I tried. The painters that worked on my condo, Surge and Gerardo were amazing! First of all they were on time on the dot which was refreshing. They were so nice and went so far above and beyond-- I spilled a gallon of pain in my parking garage and they were more than happy to help me come clean it! There we're is immaculate ( and I'm a very detail oriented person so coming from me that says a lot!) they were behind because of my mistake (spilling the paint) and offered ( and insisted) they stay late and finish the job. Friendly, on time, did an amazing job, cleaned the area up perfectly. What more could anyone ask for? I need the rest of my condo painted ASAP and I'm definitely making sure these two are my painters! Thank you guys! Will be referring you to my friends!!

Response time was good. I scheduled for the end of August but have in the meantime decided to use another company. No work was completed.

They did three rooms immaculately in less than 3 hours! No drips, clean corners, no paint splashes on my new floors. Would definitely use them again. Had a small issue with contact initially, but it was the week of the 4th of July weekend. Other than that Ivar set the appointment and the folks were right on time!

I was very pleased with the work of the gentlemen from Signature Painters. They arrived late but called me with updates to explain their delay. Once they arrived they got straight to work taping and covering our moldings, protecting the furniture and removing light fixtures etc. They were efficient and did two crisp coats of paint in the two rooms in 5 hours total. They cleaned up afterwards, sweeping the excess dirt and removing all their tarps. Would definitely use them again for future jobs.

It was great. I liked the price and they were very friendly. They worked for 8 hours and took care of everything. They took out nails and patched holes as well.

We had a wonderful experience with this company. The painters were on time and professional. Pricing was great. Clean up efficient. We would definitely use this company again and will be recommending them!

They were punctual, fast, detailed, and clean. They did a great job.

We decided to have our stair railings completely replaced prior to installing new carpet. This decision led to realizing that the "touch up" painting involved in the stair railing build out was so significant we might as well paint the interior of MOST of the house PRIOR to having all new carpet installed. After scrambling to interview SEVERAL painters, we decided to go with Signature Painting due to their extremely fair and reasonable bid/quote, as well as their rating on Angie's List. The other determining factor was that they were able to start the job immediately and, therefore, we would be able to have our carpet installed on the date previously planned. We were beyond thrilled!!! The crew (5 guys) showed up EARLY the scheduled day (Saturday) and worked HARD moving furniture and started the job!!! They even worked 10-hours on SUNDAY. As with MOST home improvement jobs, MANY things were realized along the way that needed to be ADDED to the job. Signature Painting was always courteous and accommodating in constantly discussing and advising on what needed to be added to the job. The whole crew worked EXTREMELY hard and were diligent in getting EVERYTHING done. As it turned out, a 2 day job turned into 4 full days (the bid was redone and STILL more than reasonable), and they did it ALL, and they did it WELL!! We would not hesitate to use them again in the future. Excellent job and quality work for VERY fair and reasonable rates.

Didn't read all of the fine print, so we were not going to get what we were expecting. When we spoke to the contractor he acted like he didn't know the deal was still running. Contacting and trying to schedule with them was not going as smoothly as with other Deals. At this point, we thought it best to cancel.

Very professional, punctual and friendly. Did exactly what they said they would. Arrived exactly on time. Did not overcharge or chage for anything additional not discussed. Both painters were clean and extremely polite. They did excellent work as well. Highly recommend them.

THE CREW ARRIVED ON TIME, WE WALKED AROUND THE ENTIRE AREA WHILE I SHOWED THEM WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THE CREW BEGAN WORK IMMEDIATELY ON CLEANING UNDER THE ROOF EVES PREPARING FOR THE PAINTING TO BEGIN. THE CREW AND LEAD WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE PAINTERS WENT TO WORK FOLLOWING THE CLEAN UP AND DID A GREAT JOB PAINTING THE AREA IN ABOUT EIGHT HOURS FROM START TO FINISH. THE PAINTERS WERE POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND ATTITUDE. I WOULD BE HAPPY TO HIRE THEM AGAIN, AND TO RECOMMEND THE COMPANY TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. GREAT JOB !!!

Received a prompt email contact. I never actually talked to anyone from the company. By email I was asked what needed to be done and was told that two dates were available. Because I was told that the best way to communicate was by email, I sent a brief description of what needed to be done as well as stating how much paint I had available. At 1:30pm the day before I thought that the work was being done I received an email with an estimate that was nearly three times the cost of the deal. I was also told that the work could be scheduled for a time that was over a week later than I thought they were coming. I understood that there could be an additional cost, but nearly 3times the amount was excessive; especially since no one from the company ever came out to see what needed to be done, or to see the condition of the area to be painted.

I would recommend Signature painting. Gerardo and Oleg did a great painting job.
