We cannot say enough about how happy we are withy the work that was done by Ken Renfro and his crew. Communication by Ken during the project was the key. We were informed on a daily basis of the status of the crew, anticipated arrival time and daily schedules of the work to be done. Before the project began Ken went over in detail the scope of the remodel and included CAD drawings of how the new additions to the kitchen would look. He assisted in the selection of materials and provided expert input as we made our choices. The work was prefect, from the painting of the entire interior of our home, to the additional cabinets that were made at their shop. What was most unbelievable was how the existing cabinets were stripped and refinished. The tile work in the shower and kitchen is remarkable. What was most important is that our new house was treated with respect by every member of the crew. We have future projects that we will use Sage Interiors for and will not bother taking any bids.

They did their job in a timely manner. They did quality work. They communicated well. It was easy to get a hold of them. They met my expectations. The price was above average. Their price was competitive and affordable.

My husband and I purchased an investment home in Orange County and needed a local contractor. We have met with so many contractors and it was exhausted UNTIL we met Sage Interior, Inc. We needed so much work to be done and looked for one contractor that can do it all. We hired Sage Interior to do our Kitchen Cabinet Remodeling, Landscaping, Bathroom Remodeling and Window Installation. The service was really great and the communication was well beyond our expectation.

Left written message on Sage's message board here on Angies list last week telling them of my project to have a kitchen make over, spare bathroom gut, a built in kitchen table, numerous built ins of cabinetry in a spare bedroom, as well as many other smaller projects. Next day the owner sent me an email asking what my address was to determine if I was in there service area and asked for my phone number. I wrote back giving them my address and phone # and noting to them that it is a good bet that I was in their service area since my address and their office address is less than 2 miles from each other. Waited 4 days and no contact what so ever, not even a phone call. Today 6-27-14 I left another email telling that I would be willing to give them 1 more opportunity to contact me with either a yes or a no to wanting my business. 4 hours later I get a phone call from them asking to set up an appointment. We planned on a meeting for next tue. I will update my post if work is done.

When I first contacted Majid to get a bid he encouraged me to get other bids, but to compare the details of the proposals before making my decision. He told me that he would not be the cheapest but that the quality of his work would be high. I didn't see much difference in price between the bids i got, but I selected Majid because of his focus on doing the job right. Majid was very helpful in talking through the design and providing excellent suggestions at each step of the process. It was helpful to go to his office and look at the samples to get ideas that I might not have otherwise considered. Once we agreed on the design, the work was done thoroughly and to an extremely high standard; after each stage of the job he carefully checked everything his crew had done before allowing them to move on to the next step. On one occasion Majid wasn't completely satisfied with work his crew had done and so he made them redo it. He was responsive to my concerns; when I didn't like the shape of a soffit or the placement of a light it was redone right away and without question. They worked long days and Saturdays to get the project done, and scheduled the work in stages to minimize the time that we didn't have water. Each evening before they left they cleaned up and left my house spotless. His crew were courteous, respectful and hard working, and did beautiful work. Majid was so enthusiastic about the project, and about getting every detail perfect, and made the project fun. One day he asked me to meet him at the house to look at a plumbing problem, but when I got there there was no problem; he actually wanted to show me that my beautiful new countertops had been installed early. My kitchen gets a lot of use, and it was important to me to feel confident that I was getting a solid, well built, highly functional kitchen. The end result is even better than I hoped for. I could not have had a better experience, and I am looking forward to working with Majid and his crew again next year to remodel my master bathroom.

My husband and I did extensive research before deciding to do a full kitchen remodel. We spent months reading reviews and looking at different options for our kitchen, and found Sage Interior on Angie's List. We specifically wanted someone who worked with bamboo for the cabinets and found a positive review for Sage detailing a recently completed project. Majid was responsive to our outreach and came out to our home to provide a quote. Unlike some of the contractors we spoke with, Majid took the time to walk through our wants and needs, and made helpful suggestions on how we could best maximize our available space. We have a small kitchen in a small home, so his professional expertise was very helpful and appreciated. We went out to the workshop to finalize our quote, where we were pleased to walk through all of the available choices for the cabinets, from the cabinet box, to the type of bamboo we wanted used, to selecting the hardware. We also purchased our backsplash tile and countertop through Sage so we did not have to bother with separate contractors. In the final negotiation process, we settled on a competitive price, and received a detailed final order and payment schedule prior to proceeding with work. We started in April and on the first day of the project, the crew found tree roots coming up through our subfloor. Majid's crew kept working while we dealt with that problem, and were flexible in timing of the cabinet installation. The cabinets were completed ahread of schedule and the rest of the work was completed in a timely fashion. We had a problem with the quartz countertop installation, and Majid came out the next day to review the work. He had the countertop re-made and replaced within a week. He came out to personally assist in the finishing touches and to ensure in our ultimate satisfaction with the work performed. All in all, Majid's work is beautiful. His attention to detail really took a lot of stress off myself and my husband, like ensuring the alignment of the cabinet door height so they were all level, and matching the wood grain from ceiling to floor on our new pantry cabinet and drawers. He held his staff and subcontractors accountable and ensured that all of the work was completed to our standard. I can't stress enough how Majid and his crew were professional, courteous, neat, and accommidating to our needs. Sage was not the least expensive option in the marketplace, but I truly think you get what you pay for, and the work we have is fantastic. I highly recommend them and would use them again in a heartbeat.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Ken Renfro at Sage Interior. From the initial estimate until the very end of the project, Ken was attentive and extremely professional, and kept us informed at all times. He left all decisions to us, but offered his opinion when we asked for it. The work was done to perfection, and the cabinet and flooring crews were excellent. Ken even made several follow-up calls to make sure that we were satisfied with the progress. We will definitely use Sage for future projects.

We had an appointment today for a kitchen and bathroom remodel estimate. Majid didn't show up or even call to cancel, reschedule or apologize.

I would give them the highest review in everything. They have been excellent.

Excellent results period. The overall appearance could not be better. We received 5 quotes for this project, with a wide price range, and bs factor. Although price was a factor, our decision was based on the individuals we met. Two items really stood out that confirmed our choice of Sage Interiors: 1. Every project of this type has some minor or major installation/appearance issues. The response is critical to a home owner, especially when it comes to having no use of the kitchen. Ours (minor) were promptly resolved, not days or weeks later. 2. They took the time to help with different designs, layouts, colors, etc. From the owner, Majid Kiani to the tile guy Steve, they used their experience and imagination to create the perfect look.

Majid was excellent to work with. He maid several visits to our home and provided excellent solutions for our project. He was punctual and always returned phone calls within 24 hrs. We really wanted to work with him, but due to our limited budget for the entire project we had to go a different direction. I will definitely consider Majid for future projects.

I did a complete kitchen and two-bathroom remodel with Sage Interior. From the very first contact with Majid Kiani, it was a class act. He promptly came out to my home to provide estimates, invited me to his showroom in Corona, and provided a professional consultation to walk me through the process. I didn't know exactly what I wanted to do, and Majid patiently spent the necessary time to walk me through the process of designing my kitchen and bathrooms. Throughout the entire process, Majid was attentive to my needs, prompt, and ever courteous. I would never hesitate to contact Majid for any future design requirements. He and his employees all have an impeccable set of work ethics, and I will never hesitate to recommend Sage Interior to my friends and colleagues for their design needs.

MJ and his crew were fantastic. I was apprehensive to call Sage Interiors because based on reviews it seemed like he does mostly BIG jobs. Boy, I am glad I called. Majid was professional and very knowledgeable. When I visited the store... after hours... he was very patient to show me samples of moldings and talk over my project. He even suggested better molding than I thought. On the day the job was starting, MJ was there with his crew to ensure they fully understood my needs. Julio and Sal were the installer and the job they did was impeccable. I was concerned about them making holes on the ceiling when installing the lights. These guys were impressive they did not make unnecessary holes to patch later like another contractor I had hired. The job done was clean. After some of the crown molding was installed, I realized that the paint did not match my baseboards. I spoke with Julio and he immediately reached out to MJ. MJ came to my house to inspect and told me they would paint after all molding was installed. I was nervous about this because I did not want to see brush strokes on the molding. MJ assured me that would not happen. All said and done, I was in awe of how Sal painted the molding. He took his time you'd think they are spray painted. This guy has some major skill! One of the most impressive things about MJ is that he always had a smile on his face even when I threw him a curveball to install more dimmers than we had discussed. He was at my house every day inspecting the work. I appreciated this a lot. Sage Interiors did a marvelous job and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. It all starts with the pleasant receptionist, Majid professionalism and Julio and Sal skills. These guys are wonderful. Thank you for a job well done.

Mijad Kiana from Sage Interiors was at my residence on August 15th. We discussed a basic remodeling job for our 24 year old kitchen. Mijad was very informative and provided options to consider. After gathering all necessary information he provided an estimate, which was cost effective for our budget. We signed a contract on Sept. 03rd. Work was started on Sept. 19th. and finished on Sept. 25th. Mijad asked us to consider Pentall Quartz, rather than Silestone for our countertops. This was quite a savings, since the Silestone estimate we received from a major home improvement chain was considerably more expensive. Sage Interiors rebuilt all kitchen and wet bar drawers, keeping the same fronts since they were in excellent condition. All drawers were constructed with undermount soft close slides using 1/2" Dovetail Birch Plywood with melamine bottoms. They removed the wet bar sink in our family room and capped the plumbing underneath, before installing the countertop. Sage Interiors had a nearby design center do the demolition and installation of the counter tops. The demolition and finished product was excellent. Mijad provided and oversized stainless steel kitchen sink, which we needed. We provided the plumbing fixtures, and Sage Interiors did the installation. We elected to have our own appliance company install the new cook top, since Sage Interiors was not able to beat their price. Mijad thank you for an excellent job. We are completely satisfied.

Sage Interior did a great job on our kitchen. It was a real pleasure working with the whole team. Even when there was an issue, they did their best to make sure we were happy. The installation team was so respectful and professional. The materials are top-notch. As you can tell, we were very happy with how it all turned out and will be calling them for our next cabinet or kitchen project.

After reading Sage Interior, Inc. good reviews on Angie's List we called and the owner Majid Kiani promptly came to our home. He was very personable and shared wonderful ideas that came from his many years of experience and knowledge. In a matter of days we had our quote and design with varied options that we had requested and/or he had suggested. We signed the contract on 6/19/2013 and our kitchen was completed before the end of July! Based on the complexity of the project this time frame was quite reasonable. Majid worked closely with us on cabinet selection, design, countertop material, hardware and color coordination selection. There was a wide variety to choose from. To put it nicely, our OLD kitchen was a disaster, almost 40 years old. We are VERY pleased with the final product, additionally during the entire process, from demolition to completion, Sage Interiors Inc. worked with us and kept us informed on the progress. The end result is striking and quite reasonably priced. The workers themselves always arrived on time and were friendly, professional and diligent to make sure any cleanup was completed before they left each day. They really took pride in their work. Anyone considering having a contractor come into their home for a remodel or renovation should definitely call Sage Interiors, Inc. and make an appointment to meet with the company's owner Majid Kiani. We will definitely be recommending them and will call them for any other projects we may have in the future. This was a great experience from start to finish. Mr. Kiani came out to the house to discuss the project and get a sense of what we wanted to accomplish and then prepared detailed renderings for the project. His design concepts were remarkably close to what we wanted, and with minor input from us, he was able to finalize them and provide a very accurate price quote. As with any project, there were some minor changes necessitated by discoveries during demolition, but they were all dealt with quickly and fairly. Mr. Kiani has a great eye for design, which, coupled with very high construction quality and attention to detail, resulted in a superior project. The construction crew, without exception, was friendly, competent and kind. Our dog missed them when the project was completed. The work area was always kept neat and clean, and we benefitted greatly from suggestions and minor field modifications as the job progressed. We highly recommend Sage Interior and will definitely use them again on other projects.

It went well. He showed up and gave me back a couple of designs, but we never connected because there was not a whole lot of follow-up. I probably won't use him and have not done the work yet. He was very nice and all of that, but there was no follow-up. He gave me three preliminary ideas of what to do but we did not connect after that. I called, but he did not call me back. He was great and showed up when he said he would. I think he knew what he was doing and the initial contact was positive.

We had three bids from contractors and specialists we found on Angies List. All had many reviews and were A rated. All had one or two negative reviews which I just discarded because all of the real reviews were positive on the contractors. All of the contractors gave bids and every one of them seemed efficient and above board. I picked Sage Interiors because of the attention to detail, the overall caring, time spent with me and also the price. We could not be happier. We have a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom. Majid made several recommendations on several aspects of the project. If we ran into a small issue, he took care of it in a thoroughly professional and personal manner. He understands how stressful it can be to remodel, especially a kitchen, because of downtime and made it easy for us. He helped with materials, giving pluses and minuses, and not imposing his opinions on us. He even changed out one cabinet for us that we had selected at no additional charge. I would highly recommend Sage Interiors and will recommend it to my neighbors in Laguna Niguel.

Still waiting to get response, schedule appointment. Had purchased two certificates. Yes, I could be continuing to call them -- and I will -- but very disappointed they didn't pursue with me. Maybe a poor review will prompt action, or maybe just make them mad??

Big Deal was exactly as described.

They came out to the address , took all off The measurements, wasted an hour and a half of our time and then never called emailed or followed-up with us. Never heard back! Did not give a bid or anything.

Unfortunately, after reviewing our own internal documents, it has come to our attention that this contract was drafted, executed, and proposed to be performed by an unauthorized party purporting to be affiliated with Sage Interior. As a matter of fact, William DeFina was no longer an Estimator of Sage Interior well before this agreement was signed between you and what you believed was an agent of Sage Interior. Sage Interior takes these actions seriously and will pursue all remedies. At this time it is requested that you would please forward us any copies of checks that were written to Sage Interior and documentation showing whether or not they were cashed. Sage Interior stands by its claims that it did not receive any funds from you regarding this project. Furthermore, now that Sage Interior has made its? position clear that it has no affiliation with William DeFina, and HAD NO affiliation with him at the time of this contract between you and who you thought was Sage Interior, we kindly ask you to retract your remarks. We do so only on the basis that there is no merit to your claims that Sage Interior ?partnered with BContracting? they were very professional and they finished the job as promissed. the price quoted stayed the same. also on the last day they clean all area with professional cleaners. they ask me during the progress if i am happy and if i want to change anything. they always recommended nice idea, which made it better. thank you SAGE.

When my husband Carl and I began researching contractors to remodel our kitchen, several attributes were important to us. After researching and interviewing several licensed companies, we found Sage Interiors, who promised and delivered the following: Employees arrived each day on time They cleaned their work area before leaving Ken Renfrow, Sage senior carpenter craftsman, designed and built our cabinets. (We gave the Custom color and high-gloss finish deserves a 5-Star rating.) I found every Sage employee, who came to our home, was a qualified, professional and likeable craftsman, who took pride in their work. Majid gave us a competitive and fair price for both quality service and product. Majid also promptly returned every phone call. He offered both helpful and cost-saving suggestions when selecting our granite counter top and cabinet hardware. We experienced honesty and fairness from the start to finish. The demolition, construction and completion were done in a timely manner. A project that could easily have been a nightmare ? instead was a pleasant and rewarding experience. We would recommend Sage Interiors for any home improvement project.
