Repipe 1

Five plumbing workmen showed up on time and all of the re-piping work was completed on the same day. The following day was set aside for the city inspection. The next morning, the two minor changes requested by the city inspector were made; and the drywall and stucco repair work was completed. All of the workmen were courteous and the cleanup job was thorough.

After several leaks in our water pipes over the past several months we decided it was best to repipe the entire house. Evidently the home was originally piped with thin wall copper pipe and it was beginning to fail. We talked to the plumber that fixed our old leaks and called Repipe1 for another estimate since they were highly recommended in Angie’s List. They came right out the next day and gave us an estimate that was over a thousand dollars under our other bid. We were also having sink and washer drainage problems and asked them if they could check that for us. When they showed us the drainage pipes we were shocked. They were practically completely occluded and leaking. They obviously needed replacing too. They said they could do it for us for a price even lower than the re-piping since they were already into the walls for the re-piping of the water pipes. They also offered us a generous Angie’s List discount, which we didn’t know about and provided us with extras like a new shower controller and faucet and graciously installed a new kitchen sink faucet that we had previously purchased at no additional charge. They were on time and completed the job in only a few days. We were never without water during the evenings. They were very professional and left the house very clean. I would use them again in an instant and highly recommend them.

Called the provider and a date was step up to come out and bid on the re-pipe job. Provider came out as promised and arrived on time. Provider submitted a written estimate of the scope of the work to be completed and explained what the work involved. Provider answered all questions and followed up within a few days after the bid was submitted. However, another re-pipe company provided similar services at a better price.

I had a 3rd slab leak in my house so I decided to re-pipe overhead with copper pipe. Repipe 1 had good reviews on Angie's List so I called them and they sent out Chris a sales representative. He was very professional and new his stuff. He gave us a competitive estimate so we decided to go with them and boy are we glad we did ! Two guys came out the next week and moved some furniture to get access to the walls so they could cut some small holes. They covered the furniture with plastic and cleaned up after working. They ran the pipes in the walls and attic and did a fantastic job using good quality pipe and valves. The took care of getting a county inspector out to inspect the work also. Then the patch guys came out and did a fantastic job patching the walls and texturing them. You could not even tell that there was a hole there. These guys really care about their work and reputation and it shows. They also back it with a lifetime guarantee ! Thanks Repipe 1 for all your hard work and professionalism.

They were marvelous. There was nothing I could say that they could have improved on, everything they did was marvelous. The workers, the way they did it, the way they went about, their professionalism, it was perfect. I could not have had a better experience. Their pricing was very good. If I need to, I would absolutely use them in the future.

The guys arrived at about 9am and worked til sundown. They were a dedicated bunch and got everything done in one day. They braved the elements under my house to install the piping. These are some of the toughest guys around. You won't find a better deal anywhere for the amount of work you get. They're professional and courteous and they stand behind their work. They even installed new fixtures in the bathrooms(I purchased the fixtures). The sheet rock tech was excellent as well.

They arrived promptly to do the estimate on repiping our single story house. Their estimates for PEX & Copper were comparable to other estimates & they sounded like they would do a good job. However, we didn't feel that the estimator was as upfront with information regarding the current piping in our house, although he was very friendly & nice. Examples: we asked what some galvanized pipes were in the garage & he inferred that we might have had copper repiping done already & these pipes were the original pipes which had been left there. Two other vendors we received estimates from immediately identified these pipes as our gas lines. Also, one of the copper water pipes in the garage had bubbly crusty stuff on it & he inferred that it had a slow leak which was causing this, but another vendor knew immediately that it was caused by the copper pipe being too close to the galvanized pipe, which causes an electrical reaction & the copper pipe produces this bluish-green bubbly stuff. This other vendor informed us that all we needed to do was use sand paper on both pipes to clear them of the crusty stuff, then put some cardboard between them to prevent the reaction. Upon closer inpection, I saw that the galvanized pipe had been wrapped at that spot, but through the years it had disintegrated, thus causing the problem. After obtaining this information, we decided to leave our water pipes as is because we weren't having any problems, but had simply thought we might need to replace due to the age of the house, which was built in 1972.

It could have not gone any better unless it was free or the pipes never started leaking. But nothing is free and the pipes were very old. Thank you REPIPE 1. You did an awesome job. Even my friend the plumber was impressed.

Three weeks later he called to ask us if we were going to do the repipe and I told him we chose another company. We never got the email. We went with the other company who will be doing the work soon. There are some communications issues already and I'm hoping we are not sorry. Angie's did not rate the other company as well. We went on a neighbor's recommendation.

Jim came the day after I called to give a free estimate. Scheduled for one week later. The team led by Marlon (Cristian, Joseph and Ronal) were efficient and wonderful to work with! They cut small openings to the house on the first day and completed the repiping on the second day. Cleaning up their work after each day and did exceptional work. They were professional and answered all questions completely. Follow up by the company to let me know when the inspector would arrive was prompt and accurate. The drywall crew of Gonzalo (terrific), Ramon and supervisor Vic did a great job. The stucco was perfect! Once again, the clean up and follow up by the inspector was seamless. I am very impressed with this company!! They really take pride in their work. Only thing to mention is that I was quoted one day's work on the plumbing and it took 1.5 days. No problem with this, just would have liked to know ahead of time. Great company!

.They did what they said they were going to do. The pricing was great because I compared them to two other companies. They had good supervision and I already recommended them to two other people. It was a clean operation and they had the job done in two days. Included in the price is the repatching of the holes in the walls.

I signed the proposal and everything went fine. Workmen showed up on time and did what they said would be done. Jim (general manager) showed up at my house on Saturday AM. He said it took an Angies List referral for a Saturday AM proposal. Jim's price was significantly lower than others and I signed, in part due to Angies List. I was well satisfied.

Everything went very well. The crew who came out was knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. They were more than willing to above and beyond, which really impressed me. Basically, my experience was great!

Plumbers arrived on time and worked non-stop throughout the days they were here. They were polite, well manner and went out of their way to be accommodating. Not only did they do an outstanding job on the plumbing, the repair work on the stucco was outstanding! I was really concerned there would be massive holes in my home's exterior, but they repaired them beautifully. The only concern I feel obligated to mention, is that we were assured the job would be completed in one day, and it actually took three. This was not a major problem for us, however, it could present difficulties for other customers.

.I was happy with the work. They had to come back to fix a small issue. Overall I was satisfied with their work.

Job went well overall. City inspector had to come out twice because of missing paperwork regarding L.A. pex pipe regulations.

From my intitial call to completion, RePipe 1 was fantastic! They are very professional, punctual, work clean, and have competetive pricing. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. We will be looking forward to using them again when we remodel the kitchen! We had a few last minute changes to our requested work, and they easily accommodated our requests.

They were really great. I really liked the work that they did and the people that they had were courteous and worked hard. I've called them back 2 or 3 times for minor stuff and each time they responded quickly. Each time they came back out and fixed the problem. The price was a little more than they were advertising but I think they were advertising for a one-story home, 3 bedroom home. I have a 2-story with 4 bedrooms. I had gotten quotes from other plumbers that I have used before that were almost twice as high and their work included the drywalling and calling the city inspector out. All in all I was very pleased with the employees and the work they did. They were very, very responsive. They came earlier and they were very professional. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them.

I would grade them A+ if it was available.

They were great. I was able to send a picture of the problem and he was able to give me an estimate. Once he determined what it was, he gave an estimate based on picture. Once he came out, he fixed it right up. There were a few other minor things that he fixed for free.

I did not dislike anything. I like the fact that they came when they said they would and their management checked on the status of the job as it progressed. They were flexible schedule-wise and finished exactly when they said they would. I was extremely happy with them. Their normal advertised price for a project like this is $5,000 but I wanted to use copper pipe which is more expensive than their standard type and I had them put in more pipe than usual so that is why my price varied. I will use them again in the future. I recommend them to anybody because of their reliability and the fact that they cleaned up after themselves. I also was amazed at how fast they were.

I had problems but they were good. It is a slab door and so, instead of under the floor, it went over on the roof. It was making some pumping noise at first, but now it is not doing that as much anymore. I called them and wouldn't pay them until they came and fixed that, and they took me to court. They are very savvy on going to court and I am not, and so they won the case. I was not prepared and didn't take pictures. I took my phone with pictures but I didn't have a camera and the judge wouldn't see the phone. They did an okay job but I had difficulties with them.

Start to finish, these guys did a great job. Everything went well, they showed up when they said they would and worked long days and finished when they said they would. We had a kitchen remodel starting at the same time and the guys noticed the plumbing was not centered under the window in the kitchen and asked my husband if we would like it moved over which was great and saved us a little on the remodel still going on. Also, the guys who did the patching afterwards were amazing. Our experience with Repipe1 was great and we would absolutely use their services again.
