Thanks for the excellent service on my solar system. The two technicians did a great job on changing the Tesla battery. They also helped to troubleshoot the SolarEdge inverter and showed me how the system works. They are very knowledgeable and efficient in their job too! Excellent services with OC Solar company! Let me tell ya, shopping around for Solar turned out to be such a challenge! It definitely falls under the category of comparing apples and oranges!! I did a lot of research on different companies, talked to several reps and got a lot of info. And the more I researched solar, the more questions I had. Thank goodness for Jeremy at Orange County solar. He was always available to take my calls and answered all of my questions - and I felt that they were honest responses vs. just telling me what I needed to hear to get my business. I'm so glad we made the final decision to get our solar from Orange County Solar! I've been so impressed with their communications! We had barely signed the documents, and the next day a rep came out to inspect our roof and breaker box location, then shortly after that, we received an email from Operations Manager Ashton, who provided us with a schedule of Project Milestones - we really appreciated that! Things are moving along as scheduled and we appreciate that Ashton continues to follow-up with us. I feel like we made the right choice! Next step is the installation. I'll post an update on how it all goes. We're looking forward to saving money!!

7/13/2019 - So my solar install started on a Friday the 12th and finished this afternoon the 13th. The first day I met with Carlos in the morning who is one of the electricians for Orange County Solar. Carlos was first class and extremely professional. He walked me through the process that would be taking place and I was really surprised that it would be done in only two days. I installed 35 panels on my home. Carlos mounted the Solar Edge Inverter on day one while the rest of the crew mounted the brackets on the roof. The crew was such a cool group of guys and I felt they deserved lunch for their hard work. They finished day one and on day two the roof crew was back out and worked away at installing the panels. Again these guys were really hard working and friendly. They deserved another lunch. They never asked for anything by the way. Carlos showed up in the afternoon and finished the electrical work. These guys were the best from day one to their finish time. Highly recommended. I will continue to update my review after the inspection. So far so pleased! 7/18/2019 - Jose came out to the house and met with the city inspector. Feel sorry for the guys that have to sit for hours waiting for that time window they are given. Anyways, Jose is a great guy and got through the inspection without any problems. Waiting on Edison now to I think flip the switch.

We got 39 panels installed. All is working great. We like the people Vince hires to complete the installation, from the roof surveyor, to the solar panel installer, the electrician, and Vince himself. It feels great to produce electricity on our roof and supply our extra power to the grid, and reducing our carbon footprint.

I just finished my solar panel project with OC Solar and I would definitely recommend them. I worked with Jeremy Operana and he was great. It took me quite a while to decide on going solar and also a long time to pick a company. Through the whole process, Jeremy was great! He was informative, talked about the pros and cons, never rushed me (took me 5 months to decide!), and stayed connected through the install. His team was professional, courteous and helpful. Install was quick and inspection was a breeze. Happy I went with them!

Stop shopping the rest and go with the best - Orange County Solar Vince and his team are the best to do business with. Shopping for a good, quality solar system can be frustrating. The marketplace is flooded with so many vendors, and to find someone who you can trust, can be very challenging. When I was shopping for solar vendors, he was the first and the only one to call me, while the rest sent emails to earn my business. He was the lowest in price for top of the line LG 335 panels with Enphase microinverters. Working with Vince and his dedicated team was a great positive experience. Each member of his team, from Oscar the roofer, Steve and Hector - the electrical team, and all of his office staff are the true professionals you can deal with. The crew never compromised on the quality of work and only used the best materials to complete the job. They were very courteous and cared so much when working on our precious home. Oscar even fixed a broken tile that was damaged by the cable guys. Every step of the process was well planned and executed. Vince was very proactive and effectively communicated all the schedules on a timely basis. I never had to chase him down for any information. He got the necessary permits from the city and even went to the extent of submitting our rebate forms to the utility company, a process that is the sole responsibility of the homeowner. What a guy! Installation was very quick and in less than 3 days from completing all the paperwork the system was installed. The conduits were all painted to match the stucco and the solar panels installed were flush and are working and looking **** good. On the day of inspection by the city and utility folks, Vince was personally at our home at 8 AM to do a final check and to ensure that all code compliance was met so we get the PTO (permit to operate) immediately. Such is the care and service that Vince delivers. By the time all the inspection was done it was around 2 PM. He even came back the next week to check on the monitoring system and to set it up so we can access all the information about the solar panels from our mobile devices. Vince and his team are the very best. I can honestly say that our family has earned a true friend in Vince. Call him and none other for your solar power needs. You will not be disappointed. Its been 2 years since I got solar panels from Orange County Solar and paying just the minimum charge. Happy with them and the customer service they provide.

There are a lot of solar companies out there now, especially in Southern California. It can be hard to find the right one. Well I'm super glad to have found these guys! Orange County Solar is an excellent solar company and they do fantastic solar installations. Great, now the word "solar" sounds all weird to me now...Anyways, my experience with them has been stellar. Vinnie was very professional and very personable. I highly recommend them if you happen to be looking into doing solar installations for your home.

I was looking to get solar panels installed and operating by the end of 2017 to get my 2017 federal tax credit. I interviewed several vendors the first and second week of November and all of them except for Orange County Solar could not guarantee that it could be done by 12/31/2017. Orange County Solar had the best pricing of the vendors I interviewed and Vincent, the owner, promptly returned my emails about cost, material and plans even over the weekend! I did not get my HOA approval back until 12/08/2017 and today 12/20/2017 I have a completely installed and inspected systems running! The Orange County Solar crew did a fantastic job and their attention to detail was superb. I could not be happier. I have never written any Yelp reviews (I always have been a passive reader). But they did such a great job I had to give credit where credit is due. If I could I would give them 6 star since they delivered what said and when the said it would be done and did a fantastic job. Vincent is very personable and knowledgeable about the solar industry and kudos to him on his work effort and attention to detail. If you are thinking about getting Solar in Orange County you should put him on your list of prospective vendors you interview.

Just had Orange County Solar Install Panels on my house. The process was longer than I thought, however they have updated me on the progress well. They are very responsive and a well run company. I can't say enough great things about OC Solar and Vince! Vince was honest and transparent every step of the way, and kept to his word throughout the process. He was informative from the quote process and to checking-in on us on our first electric-bill (we didn't owe a dollar on our first electric bill!!). OC Solar had great technology allowing us to know what to expect in solar production now but also in the future including the growth of trees in our neighborhood. Vince and his team of true professionals were able to get the entire process done in a week including only a two day installation! Vince was very well networked helping to get the needed permits and inspectors in at an expedited manner. He was able to give us multiple options and dealt with my endless questions at any time of the day. OC Solar used great solar products and gave us different options for our budget and our production needs. We ended up with 36 LG panels and I can barely see them on my roof. Vince also went the extra mile and did a few repairs to the flashings to our roof that no one else even suggested. Vince and OC Solar was able to set us up with a lending program that worked for us perfectly. Vince was able to work around our schedule and is a true hustler. I truly do respect him for his knowledge, integrity and work-ethic. If you are considering getting solar please contact Vince and Orange County Solar. He won't be pushy and annoying but will provide great insight to your needs and if solar will be in your best interest.

Vincent and team were great! We had both a re-roof and solar installed and not only looks fantastic, it went off without a hitch. Throughout the process, Vinnie and his team were straightforward, knowledgeable, caring, highly competitive, and communicative. can go on but I think the best vote of confidence was that I recommended him to my parents, and after several quotes, they are moving forward with him as well. Advantage: LOCAL in OC. Recommended by word of mouth. My friends were very happy with them. Certified Panasonic installer. Sales consultant - Jeremey was great. OC Solar is extremely efficient in communicating with you - available to answer all questions by phone/text/email. Instead of relying on phone or virtual appts, the property is evaluated using satellite resources + history of electrical bills and quote is provided immediately. No unnecessary sales pitch, right to the point. Execution of work: I did not get a weekly update as explained in the beginning. However, my job was on a smaller scale and the contract began in Dec 2020 during COVID pandemic. Replies to my inquiries were prompt. Had issues with the existing type of roof tiles that required added roofing work. Again, handled well between Ashton (proj manager) & Jeremey. All the workers were professional and courteous. Result: Panels look great. My options were Panasonic vs LG panels. OC Solar certainly helped me with my decision making. My friends who made recommendations were happy with their post-installation service.

I reached out to Orange County Solar as I had read their reviews from Google and YELP, initial process with sales was very informative, non pushy answered all my questions without pressuring me. I have went through several other quotes and complete opposite of what I experienced. Pricing was best overall for premium solar panels. Dealing with project manager was also very smooth, I was co tasted immediately after signing to schedule my site inspection and was updated throughput the process step by step. From sales, to project management to installation team best experience I have had with a contractor.

I interviewed over 12 different solar companies - Vincent stood out from the rest because he didn't try to sell me on how crappy other companies are but instead he made me felt very comfortable on what his team can do for my solar needs. Other companies spent 80% of the time bickering about their competitors, which is a total turn off!
