Newport Exterminating

First service was great. Very thorough. Second visit, they stayed for 7 minutes and did not fulfill contractual agreement of services. Sprayed perimeter of the house only. Did not de-web yard.

It was excellent; the people who came out were very thorough. They were highly professional. I would recommend them, I have used them before and would use them again.

I've been using them for 10 years. They were responsible and honest. They did a really thorough job. They can take care of any kind of pest that you have.

Professional, competitively priced service, but when I just called to get the home drywood termite treated (tenting the home) in preparation for its sale, they honored last years quote and said, "just let us know how we can make this experience easy for you". I'm managing this home from out of state, so I wanted to recommend them to anyone who has concerns regarding a rental or seasonal property you may need work done on, and you can't be at the property to ensure the work gets done...and done right. A great team of people to work with, and honest and professional! I would refer my friend to this company!!!

From my initial experience with Newport Exterminating, they were great. However, it seems that annual maintenance contracts are handled through a different crew within the company. My problems centered on communication and customer service. On the first call, the technician couldn't wait the extra few minutes for someone to return home and did not even bother to call to say he was leaving. On a reschedule, technician claimed he was there, but never called the home phone number and never left a message on cell phone. The office called at 10:00am, long after the technician left. Throughout all this, customer service not handled well at all. Called a well rated Angie's list provider and am very happy with their customer service.

Newport performed the inspection and termite treatment on a house we had purchased. The first thing they did wrong was to tent all the trees and bushes around the house along with the house. It would have been very easy for them to leave the trees out of the tent, but that was too much for then to do. So we had several dead trees and bushes to pull out after we moved in. That completely changed the look of the house. Next, they were supposed to remove and replace two patio covers that had termite damage. They started work by ripping them down, then abandoning the job for about two weeks. They left nails and sawdust all over our backyard that we had to clean up so our children didn’t get hurt playing back there. Over the next couple weeks they worked off and on a couple hours at the end of the day. Every time they left I had to clean up all their fast food bags. Then they showed up to do work on the Saturday of my son’s birthday party with no advance notice. When I told them they couldn’t work that day since my son was having a pool party, they threatened me by saying that if they couldn’t work that day, they didn’t know when they could get back to it. Finally, they tried to claim the job was complete and collect the remaining money from the escrow company before finishing the work they had contracted to do. I had to threaten the escrow company to get them to hold the funds until Newport competed the work they noted on the inspection report.

I had a great experience with them. I have known those guys for years because I am a contractor and I run into them. They did a good job. I would use them again. The price is competitive because I always get a couple of bids. The situation happens in such a way where we run over it and we use them because they include things that others left out. As I am a contractor I expect them to be on time otherwise I wouldn't be using them again. I have no complaints about them. I would certainly use them again.

I have used them for years. I have an annual contract with them and I have had it for 10 years. We have a unique termite problem in the area and because they treated so many houses they are extremely knowledgeable on how to work and treat it. They provide advice and so forth. I have never compared prices but it is seems reasonable for the work that they do. They do a great job.

We purchased our home late August 2011 relying on a report from Newport Exterminating provided by the seller checkmarked "COMPLETE REPORT" and sticker dated 7-29-2011 from the company in the garage There were no findings of subterranean or drywood termites marked on this so-called "COMPLETE REPORT." After our move-in we noticed termite damage (the termites had eaten a shutter on a wall facing the street, leaving only the paint layer). When we called Newport Exterminating, they informed us that there was "no warranty because they had not provided any services because they had not found any termites." What an impressive loophole. As we did not feel comfortable dealing with NE, we then called another company which performed a thorough inspection, tapping the wood, finding a lot of damage to the attic, the balconies, the rafters, etc., requiring immediate action. This second company told us that it is an industry practice that many companies perform 15 minute inspections for escrow companies. This is the only explanation that makes sense given the degree of destruction that was overlooked with the naked eye and that there were no tapping marks left by a previous "inspection." Bottom line: Be careful if you choose to deal with this company as it seemed too comfortable putting a clean bill of health on a termite infested home.

We have used them for a long time and it has been a positive experience so far. They are very responsive. When you call them up, they come right away. They are very well organized. We have an annual contract with them which included retreating the house.

We got their quotation at lower than two others. They did not try and put the fear of the situation, rather gave us reality based information pertaining to the damage and the fairly inexpensive option for the treatment. We went with them and had no further problems. We highly recommend their service for termite and wood rot damage treatment. Good Luck ahead

Newport Exterminating was gracious and punctual, but did not mail me an inspection report as promised. After the legal 10 day grace period expired, I waited an extra week and called them to request the report. They said they'd call me back and never did. And still no report. I don't think they're worth using because they a) don't stand by their word, and b) don't follow the law

They were perfect and I would rate them highly.

They've been really good. I would give them A's. Their quality of work is an A because the first treatment they did knocked out the cockroaches, the price is hard to gauge because I haven't had a lot of experience in hiring people in this field.

No matter who performs the Termite Tenting at your house, watch the residence closely. Burglers took several thousand dollars of our possessions while tented in May 2002.

EVERYTHING WENT JUST FINE. THE EXTERMINATOR SHOWED UP ON TIME, AND GOT RIGHT TO WORK. HE MADE SURE OUR PETS' TOYS, AND WATER BOWLS WERE PUT AWAY. THEN HE GOT ON IT AND COMPLETED HIS TASK IN A TIMELY MANNER.

IT WAS GOOD AND WHAT YOU WOULD EXPECT I GUESS. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY RETURNED CALLS QUICKLY. THEY WERE ALSO INFORMATIVE.
