First let me start with Carla and her team did a great job! This was the first time my mother allowed me to bring someone in. I have offered/been asking for four years. It was a big job. So anything listed are small hic-ups. They arrived 30 minutes early without calling. Had just finished cooking lunch for my mom, so she took it next door to eat. They brought ALL their own supplies. The first vacuum they brought in appeared full, so I offered the use of ours. The deal was 3 people for 3 hrs, so I was surprised when four people showed up. One went to work in the kitchen and was there pretty much the first 2.5 hours. One into the shower, another helped in that same bathroom and then helped the fourth person in the bedroom. The woman in the shower moved to the other bathroom. I went next door to check on my mom and came back and only two were there. There was a surprise visit by one of the owners to check on how they were doing. He wiped his finger over a few surfaces and asked me about what I thought of how they were doing and was gone shortly after that. The two that had left returned and finished cleaning in the two bedrooms. One then moved to the carpet in the living room. They had another job after us and based on priority had completed everything I had asked for, and left only the dusting in the living room. (I am sure if I offered to pay for the extra time, and they had the extra time the living room dusting would have been completed as well.) They vacuumed and wet mopped all the floors on their way out the door. They were there for the full three hours. This was on my mom's house, if I can ever organize all my paperwork I will have them at my place in an instant.

Pretty good service, professional and very detailed

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. It went well. They were prompt and sincere. They did a good job.

They asked to use the microwave to cook their food, which we allowed, but asked them to clean it afterwards, which they did not. They did not clean the kitchen at all.

It was very good. They were a little bit late. I would use them again for sure. I would recommend to get what you want cleaned agreed upon first.

The 3 people came promptly to my home in the morning and started work even though I wasn't present but my contractor was. When I arrived later they were almost competly done. They did a very good job in the cleaning. did a quick test on the shelves, window sills and cabinet and detected no dust. They were very professional and focused on doing their job.

Very friendly rep, tried her best to accommodate and find room for me in her schedule, but just didn't have any availability.

|They (3); did floors, & all molding. Bathrooms/shower/tub. (2). Dusting through out. Doors, furniture. Window sills, no windows except slider. Exterior of kit. appliances. Counters/granite. |It went fine. Couple areas were missed but overall they did a good job. |The slider window was not done very well--only complaint. |The cost went over budget, since it took nearly twice the man hours thought.

I purchased one on the specials on Angie's List to try out a new house cleaning service. I was contact via email right away. We made arrangements for an appointment the following week. A cleaning crew of 4 show up right within 15 mins of our schedule time and got right to work. The worked not stop for the time they were here and I added an additional service to have in inside of my refrigerator cleaned. They cleaned part of my house that other people have missed. Including the top of my refrigerator and picture frames. I was very happy with their service. My house was brighter and cleaner than I had expected. Thank you to Amy and the other ladies for taking good care of me and my home.

I purchased a complete home cleaning for my rental property. They showed up when scheduled and did a fantastic job. I was not able to be present for the cleaning so I left a key for them. They provided me excellent service. My new tenant was very happy to move into such a clean home.

The owner was flexible in helping me find a date that her team could come to our house. The three people who showed up were friendly, professional and quite good. I told them which areas to concentrate on, and they performed admirably in the three hours there were there. I will definitely use this company again.

I have 2 pages of instructions that I reviewed and provided to them them we first met. I also have photos around the house of how to put things away. They clean well, but are unable to follow instructions even with photos. The staff are instructed to follow the directions of their owner, but they are incapable of following the directions of the homeowner. Fore example, they very sweetly fold the tissue and toilet tissue, but then they fail to empty trash or don't put the trash in the correct trash can (recycling). They don't seem to turn around and check behind them to ensure the work is complete before leaving the room. They often would skip main bedrooms and my daughter would have to catch them as they were running out the door and ask them to complete their work and with much reluctance they would come back and do a terrible job. They were often at least 15 minutes late and would leave 30 minutes early. The last two visits they took sea sponges. The owner told me they would be purchased and returned, but never were.

I have used their service 5 times already and they never failed to please. Not only did they do a good job, they completed it with a good attitude, which I appreciate even more. Nicely done and Keep it up Emi!

The cleaners showed up on time. Pay attention to the details. Happy with the result. Recommend for anyone who needs the same service.

It was great. Their cleaning girls were great. But when you came in the house, whatever products they used, it smells funny. It smells almost like an electric fryer to the point where people notice it for several days. Other than that, the job they did was great. They were responsible and on time. If they have other products, that’s fine, but it really did smell weird. It’s not a pleasant smell at all. I would love to purchase it again, I just wanna make sure they don’t have products that smell like that.

the first cleaning crew I had led by Linda was not satisfactory, but I requested another crew for the second and future visits led by Karla...they are fantastic. Very thorough and professional. although the estimate given to me by Linda was less than Karla, I am very satisfied with Karla and her crew. any concerns I have are always reviewed immediately by the main office and all of my needs have been met.

I had used Mother Earth Maids for almost 1 year. The first visit was a little disappointing in that they didn't do a very thorough job in the kitchen (microwave was dirty, appliances not polished, backsplash behind the stove not cleaned, etc). However, I think this was because they stayed much longer than they anticipated, and rushed at the end. Natalie was very nice and offered me a discount off the next service, should I use them. I gave them a second chance, and the cleaning was good, but as I was walking through before they left, I noticed a bleach stain on one of the comforters. I asked them about it, and they denied using any bleach in the bedroom. They had used bleach in the bathroom, and it obviously somehow got tracked in to the bedroom. Natalie offered to pay for the replacement of the comforter, but I felt bad having the ladies be docked for it, so we agreed that she and I would split the cost, and it would be deducted from the next cleaning. I later noticed that the bleach had been tracked around the carpets too, so there was some carelessness on their part. Anyway, after that I always had a different team, and this is because I never had a set schedule. I would get the service once a month, but usually emailed last minute, and Natalie always squeezed me in. I had about 10 or 11 cleanings with the company, and they ranged from below average to good, but never great. The first 4 or 5 times they were really late, and messed up my schedule, but then they were better and the last few times they were early I stuck with them thinking that I would get on a schedule at some point and just request one of the better teams. I also really appreciated their flexibility and that I always got squeezed in with my last minute requests. The last time they were here, I was home with my two young children. About 20 minutes after they arrived, I heard the most unimaginably horrible sound. I turned to see the chandelier that hung above our stairwell bouncing down the stairs, shattering glass in every direction. The lead cleaner came down immediately afterwards, visibly shaken, as was I. I asked to see if everyone was ok, and then asked her what happened. She said she had just dusted it and that it fell, and she didn't know how. I was grateful that no one was injured and that both my children had been just outside the shatter radius. As I did not witness it, I did not want to blame her for it, and given that it could have been much worse, the monetary cost of replacing the chandelier and fixing the damage did not seem to be as significant. To their credit, she and another of the ladies worked diligently for the next two hours cleaning everything up, especially since a lot of the glass fell into my kids' playroom which the stairwell opens to. I still found glass shards, but that's just the unfortunate nature of breaking glass. After examining the chandelier, it became clear that it had come unscrewed (the main chandelier was unscrewed from its support arm which attaches to the ceiling). My guess is that when dusting it, it had been rotated (ie unscrewed) to dust it all around. Again, I was not blaming anyone, but I emailed Natalie to let her know, as I thought that it would be a good teaching point for them as it might prevent something similar from happening in the future. Her response was polite, but she said that she asked the team about it and they denied ever touching or cleaning it!! She said it was just a "freak accident" which coincidentally occurred when her team was present, but it was completely unrelated to their presence. I told her that her cleaner had told me that she was dusting it when it happened. Again, I was not trying to blame them or be reimbursed, but I did not like that they changed their story after the fact. She said it was a miscommunication. I suppose lying is a miscommunication of the truth. The chandelier I could deal with because it was an accident, but lying to me about it is not excusable. She asked what she could do, but the real damage was the dishonesty, and I don't know how that can be repaired. At this point, I am back on Angie's List to find another cleaning service...and an electrician.

Several weeks ago my fiance and I decided to hire a house cleaning service to come in and do a deep cleaning for our home. We searched through Angie's list and decided to purchase a deep cleaning special from Mother Earth Maids, based on their good review and the price of the special. We purchased the special and within a day or so received an email from Mother Earth Maids asking for things like the address, sq footage of our home, and what was most important to us. I made sure to clearly list my top 5 priorities, and the number 1 priority was to scrub all floors since due to a back condition I can no longer clean floors. We set up the appointment for a week later and to this point, so far so good. Then, the day of the service I got a call from Natalie at Mother Earth Maids telling me the house cleaning crew had finished early and would arrive at my house 1/2 hour early. I was very glad - the only problem was that the cleaning crew didn't show up until 10 minutes past the originally scheduled time. Which meant that now they were 40 minutes late. But I let that go and when they arrived we did a quick walk-thru of the house and I made sure to point out in each room that I especially wanted the floors scrubbed. The crew got to work and they worked hard. But they never cleaned the floors or even touched them. They came to me after the allotted time was up and said, do you want to pay for 1/2 hour work (for 4 people) so we can finish? I was disappointed but said yes since if I wanted them to finish I had to pay the extra. They worked for 1/2 hour more - BUT NEVER TOUCHED THE FLOORS! I was shocked. They came to me and told me they were done with everything but the floors. By this time it was getting very late, I was ready for them to go and yet they hadn't finished - and if I wanted them to finish I had to pay for more time! Wow was I upset. I told the crew how I felt and they called their manager, Natalie. They were on the phone with her for a very long time and finally passed the phone to me. I told Natalie exactly what had happened and also told her that I originally stated via both email with Mother Earth Maids and face-to-face with the crew that the floors were most important, yet that is what never got done. Natalie shared that they were not making money on these house cleaning specials (which frankly is none of my concern) and that it's hard to clean a house in that time frame (then don't offer that special!). My little place is just over 1,100 sq feet. If they can't finish my home - which was pretty clean - in that time frame then Mother Earth Maids probably needs to reassess their Specials.....but that's another issue. Natalie was not willing to acknowledge that I had already made it very clear that the floors were my priority, that their house cleaning special included floors - and yet they never did the floors! Finally Natalie said the crew would stay and clean the floors at no cost to me. But by this time it was after 7:00pm at night and I just wanted the whole thing to be over. I was exceedingly disappointed and frustrated by then entire experience, and would never use their service again. This is the first time I have ever had a terrible experience using Angie's List. I know many others have had a good experience but I had a terrible experience and cannot recommend this company.

I need a refund or assigned me another company that can perform the work.

Due to the removal and installation of the new floor upstairs, my house is very dusty everywhere. I was a bit worried about whether they could clean it well. To my surprise, after more than 4 hours work, my house is shining clean again, they clean every place I could touch, the floor, stairs, stair rail, all the counters and cabinets, shutters and windows, etc. Just as promised. The house is in great condition to move in! I am very happy with their service, will go back to them again in the future.

They determine the price based off the size of your property and they do a good job. They seem to work efficiently. I have had them do some other cleaning, such as cleaning outside and cleaning hard to reach light fixtures, and they were able to take care of those. The cleaning work they do seems to be thorough.

Full Moon Monday? Natalie was very professional under circumstances that were not coming together well that Monday. Due to my sudden family tragedies that occured after June 10th it took me awhile to talk to Natalie re: the Monday cleaning. Later when I spoke to Natalie re: Mondays service and she was quick to re-schedule a re-do friday service at no cost. I was very happy with our discussion and her high levels of customer care. I would recommend Mother Earth Maids for your cleaning needs.
