About us

We started our business working out of Grandmas house 15 years ago. She told me ''If you want to succeed in this business you need to treat your customers like family and work on their home as if it was your own''. This has become our company's philosophy. At Kastle Plumbing you’ll find the help you are looking for, for all of your plumbing needs. The owner of Kastle Plumbing has been in the plumbing service business for over 30 years. He was trained by the best and hopes to consistently and effectively pass on his excellent service techniques and work ethic personally to each of his qualified plumbing technicians. It is his demand for perfection and customer satisfaction, that sets Kastle Plumbing apart from the rest. From Slab leaks and slab leak detection, to gas leaks, water heaters, sewer problems, bathroom and kitchen remodels to simple clearing of clogged sinks and toilets, just to name a few, you’ll find that he and his team will quickly and efficiently take care of your plumbing issues with as little interruption to you and your family as possible. Where other companies may feel that they need to “move you out” during their work, He has developed methods where he and his team of qualified technicians can work within your household with little or no interruption to you and your family. And when the job is finished, you won’t be cleaning up after us. Our goal is to leave your jobsite cleaner than when we’ve arrived. You’ll be glad you’ve called Kastle Plumbing! At Kastle Plumbing we rely on our word of mouth referrals from our many pleased customers who continually call and send their friends. That’s because we offer honesty and value to our work. You won’t find the old “bait and switch” here. He wants to give you the very best service for a price that you can afford. When you hire Kastle Plumbing, you’ve hired the best! Water heater burst. Scott and helper arrived promptly and assessed damage. Recommended a specialist to deal with the wet woodwork all around. Scott also pointed out errors in prior water heater installation (relief valve jammed agains wall, no pan under heater which would have prevented damage due to leak, and crumpled exhaust flue). Scott went out to pick up a new 75 gallon water heater, connected it in a position about three feet away from the wall so the restoration people could work. (The restoration crew arrived immediately and were top-notch as well.) Here's the amazing part. He'd wanted to get home early, because it was his birthday. But he stayed to 6:45 to get me back up and running with hot water. And he did this even though the many animals I have in the garage caused pretty severe allergic irritation to his eyes (which he had never experienced before in all his years as a plumber). When I spoke with him the next day, he said it was no big deal missing his birthday celebration; he celebrates all month and you can't get too attached to what happens or doesn't happen on any single day. With an attitude like that, I highly recommend Scott of Kastle Plumbing!!!
Description of Work: Replaced burst water heater. Recommended excellent restoration crew to deal with soaking wet platform, walls, studs. Hooked up water heater a few feet away so I will have hot water during the week or two of restoration. WIll return to drain and reinstall it when the restoration is done.

In each of the three occasions we used Scott and his crew at Kastle Plumbing, he was punctual, very thorough, went over and above the job and found other problems he fixed at no additional costs and always left the area cleaner than he found it. He did a gas line replacement, water main line replacement and slab leak detection and repair. If other vendors needed to be brought in to fix other damage (i.e. wet carpet and drywall damage from the slab leat) Scott took care to call in this service to another excellent vendor. My husband and I believe Kastle Pllumbing is one of the best contractors we have every worked with. I would not hestitate to call them again and we recommend Scott and his crew to all our family and friends.
Description of Work: I have used Kastle Plumbing on 3 different occasions: 1. Exterior gas line leak, leading to replacement of our gas line from the front yard to the side yard where the pool heater is located and then to the back yard where the BBQ is located. 2. Main water line replacement from the front meter to the water line into the house. Replacement of water heater, soft water lines and installation of new hose bib and washer water lines. 3. Slab leak detection and rerouting of copper pipes to bypass the broken water line.

Am not sure if this is just me - but when a company's website states explicitly FREE estimate, and you request an estimate for a slab leak repair - an average consumer would expect a FREE estimate. Scott showed up with his apprentice and confirmed what I already knew- I had a slab leak evident by the hot spots under our kitchen flooring. He then recommended a copper reroute - 2 lines for $3,000. He also recommended other items, not really necessary. Then verbally said I owed him $150 for leak detection. NO pre-approval paperwork, no written notice nothing. He claims to have verbaly informed me of the leak detection charge over the phone, but I do not recall him stating such...again, when a website indicates FREE WITHOUT any disclaimer or comment as to what is and is not part of an estimate, seems to be a bit shady...false advertising....When I brought this to Scott's attention, he then again demanded the $150 - and wanted documentation as to the paint conditions of my home claiming a need to know about lead (house built in 1974) - and his apprentice seemed to roll his eyes like they were joking about me. In any event, possibly was just a bad day... but didn't feel super comfortable....To his credit and after much discussion in circles , Scott did offer to apply the $150 to his services if I gave him the job and offered to throw in a new pressure monitor worth about $200...

Response from Kastle Plumbing
We do offer free estimates. However, There is a charge for leak detection. If you have a slab leak, leak detection must be completed so we can determine where the leak is so we can give you an accurate price to repair or reroute the line. We were very clear that there would be a charge for leak detection over the phone and yes we do credit the leak detection amount to the job.

Scott arrived on time. Accessed the problem and gave me a fair price (I got another quote the night before at $700+). He did a great Job and I'll definitely call him again.
Description of Work: Scott removed the old rusty 'T' which connected our main water source for our home from the main at the side walk and raised it 6 inches above ground so that this problem won't happen again. He also relocated our pressure valve so that it's easily accessible added a new shutoff valve for our irrigation system. Back filled the hole and cleaned up around the work area. He did a great Job and I'll definitely call him again.

Scott arrived on time with equipment and parts needed and a full crew of men under his supervision and instruction at all times. Laid out runners, tarped and taped out rooms and furniture an d used moving pads to protect every part of our home. He explained everything he was doing as he went along and answered all our questions. Our home was spotless and clean at the end of the job. Scott was a true professional and an outstanding plumber. We highly recommend him and would call him again for any plumbing need.
Description of Work: Promptly responded to an emergency call of a broken pipe in slab early AM Saturday on a Holiday weekend. Fully explained pros and cons of slab repair vs re-pipe, and bid a very reasonable rate for the job. Re-piped from water heater in garage through attic and duct space to kitchen sink at far end of the house and finished in one day!

Scott did a drain clean out for us about three years ago. I called him for this job-- Scott was able to give me an estimate on phone which I really appreciated. Ryan arrived on time after calling to say he was on way. Very professional job--cleaned up after very well. Careful and meticulous. Checked all drains several times for watertight seals. Ryan can do plumbing work at my house any day! You can be sure I will be referring these guys to my friends and family!
Description of Work: Installed brushed chrome pull-out kitchen faucet and clean out drain between sinks. Installed two high end polished brass faucet sets in secondary bathroom. Both of these sinks needed to have a good bit of cleaning out also as the fixtures there were almost thirteen years old. Replaced all angle c**** and supply lines.

Found some water damage in an interior wall, and called Kastle. Scott (owner) was here immediately with an assistant, and went to work to identify where the water was coming from. Had all the equipment that they needed. They were thorough, confirmed a slab leak, and made firm recommendations for remediation. He brought a crew in the next day, re-routed piping to avoid the slab leak, and handled everything very efficiently. His team taped off the affected areas, moved furniture, covered everything in the affected areas with plastic, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. They even handled a couple of "odd job" plumbing needs around the house without additional charge. Scott has helped to identify mold remediation companies and has assisted in that estimating process. Overall a very efficient experience, and we feel that it was handled honestly and appropriately.
Description of Work: Used high tech equipment and discovered and confirmed source of water leak (slab leak). Re-routed plumbing through walls and ceiling to repair problem and to avoid future slab leaks.
