The technician was in a clean uniform and presented a professional appearance and demeanor. He was knowledgeable about the equipment and performed all of the services agreed to.

We were pleased with the company's promptness in arriving after we phoned them. They diagnosed and explained the problems with our old units and helped us decide on which replacements to purchase. The guys who did the actual installations were very professional and did a great job.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for an AC tuneup with this company, and they were terrific. My husband HATES heat and while we live fairly close to the ocean, if it gets above 72 he's unhappy. I thought it would be a good idea to have the AC looked at before it got too warm just in case - we've only owned the house for about 14 months and really don't know what kind of shape the AC was in. Tech came out for the agreed checkup, on time. He topped up the coolant for an extra fee, and wrapped one of the feed lines in insulation (it had been bare and tended to ice up). Otherwise he said the system was fine. We just had to have them out again after our power failed and the AC blew its fuses on one of the hottest days of the year. My hubby had replaced the fuses but couldn't get the compressor to start up. Called Kalka and they had a tech out (same guy, amazingly!) within an hour, even though they must have been very busy. He diagnosed the problem in 5 minutes (apparently the cover for the fuse box also acts as a fuse, and dummy hubby had left it off so the system didn't start up) and we were only charged the service call fee. My husband said it was a $60 lesson for being an idiot. You guys are great - I would have had to commit murder if the AC had been out much longer due to all the whining from my husband.

Installation had to be delayed but no inconvenience caused. Very professional service visit.

I was pleased with the work that was done. The two men were pleasant and efficient. I felt a little put on the spot having to deal with a sales discussion of their water conditioning system. However, I did learn about there product.

Vey well. Once part was obtained a visit was scheduled and the techs arrived on time and were very professional and finished quickly.

This is a VERY stand up company. Both Kevin (owner) & Ryan (technician) are VERY ethical guys. I had some problems with my duct work & they came back after the initial call and stood by their work & made it right. I would highly recommend this AC Company and I'm going to use them again in the future to replace my units. Thank you Kalka for standing by your word & work!

Crew was very good and it was a lot of work for them. Took them close to 7 hours to complete. Had an issue a few days into it. Called and had a service man out the next morning and he made a few adjustments and its been working great since then.

Technicians checked the unit for it's ability to cool to the appropriate temperature by checking each vent; they also checked the condition of the units parts and components.

Total professional - Did a bunch of extras for free - Very clean - Fast.

Overall, the experience was great. They sent two technicians out. The job took longer than what they thought, but it was more important to me that they took their time to do it right.They were willing to have the payments spread out over a year with no interest.

Two service reps arrived on time and were very friendly. They checked my A/C, did some diagnostics and replaced my filter with a very cheap one. They reported in writing that my A/C was leaking oil, the drain pan was rusted and needed replaced, the amps were running at 5% and that the duct was all torn due to rodents in my attic. I decided to call my homeowners warranty insurance who dispatched another service 4 days later to check out these major repairs. The new service double checked everything and found that all that needed to be done was to replace the external duct where the duct tape had unstuck due to wear and tear. They even offered to clean my ducts as they saw that we have a child in the home with a respiratory problem. I was told that duct cleaning for the unit I have is not necessary, only to use high end filters would suffice. I took a chance and grabbed up a deal I thought was genuine but found out that this company tried to sell me their repair membership and made claims of repairs that weren't needed. Bait and switch type of advertising but I got smart. I don't believe I got my money's worth as my $39.00 paid for the two guys coming out and that's my take on it.ThanksMrs. Shadle

The inspector arrived at the beginning of the two hour time frame. He was clean and uniformed and polite. He asked me if he could go into certain rooms before entering, and explained what he was going to do. He inspected the outside unit, the inside coil, and the airflow and temperature readings at all air vents.

I bought the A/C tuneup coupons from Angies List that was fulfilled by Kalka. They came two days after calling them and spent a good amount of time going over all my A/C issues. Thomas and Ryan worked diligently and were very professional. The price they gave me seemed competitive and they didn't try to nickel and dime me. I highly recommend this company.

We responded to a seasonal promotion that Kalka was running -- $39 for complete A/C maintenance. After paying for the promo w Angie's List, I immediately called Kalka to schedule the appointment. The phone was picked up right away, they had a record of my promo purchase, and they were able to book an appointment for me within that same week. Our service technician, Adam, arrived promptly (in fact, early) and was VERY professional. Both my husband and I were really impressed by his professionalism, expertise, courtesy and general helpfulness. He spent a lot of time here thoroughly rehabilitating the never-maintained A/C in our new home. He even cut a custom air filter for our randomly sized filter openings. What a deal. And what a great experience. It is nice to know that we have a resource like them available here in our new area.

Two service technicians performed a thorough inspection, confirmed that no leaks were found, and confirmed the system was performing smoothly. They walked me through all the seals and showed me that the connection points were fully sealed. And they ultimately saved me a lot of money. I will ALWAYS go with Kalca H&A going foward (including my quarterly service maintenance). Also, I've found that Kalca H&A staff are not at all pushy when it comes to selling/upselling. On three separate occasions, they've convinced me to spend less rather than more. I definitely trust these guys....

I called and they sent out a tech at a time that worked for me. He analyzed the old furnace providing me options and estimates. I elected to purchase a new, efficient furnace and also had him check the previously described non-working air conditioning. He completed the work, cleaned up perfectly, gave me discounts which I did not expect and repaired and recharged the air conditioning so it is working perfectly and ready for the coming summer months.

I had a newborn at the time and they came VERY promptly as our house was heating up quickly. Staff was professional, friendly, helpful, informative but not pushy, and gave follow up phone call to ensure our satisfaction.

Manuel, the tech and his assistant were on time and careful of my flooring (shoes covered and drop cloth). They repaired the inside unit capably. I liked that they reset the thermostat clock, offered to change the filter and left me with warranty information.

Kalka Heating & Air was very professional, prompt and responsive. The work they performed was of high quality and clean. They did not overcharge us beyond their estimate.

Very professional and quick. I had some questions after they left that I forgot to ask, so they came back to physically show me since they were only a block away...that's customer service!

No services performed as company wanted to charge $59 just to obtain an estimate to replace a heater.

It was a job well done and I will use this company again.
