Install My Lights - The Recessed Lighting Company

General manager Tonny initially came to provided me with a free estimate. I had several email exchanges and phone conversation with him to make few changes which went very well. On the date of installation their 4 workers, led by Victor, came on time about 8:00 am and proceeded to do a very thorough job of installing recessed lights. Since holes needed to be drilled they covered the work area very thoroughly and Victor was in contact with me at all time when he wanted to inform me of something, such as asking for my approval after the light layout was completed, before drilling holes in the ceiling. They worked through lunch time and before they left around 3:00 pm, they thoroughly cleaned up the work area. Since the crown molding they installed in the kitchen ceiling could not be completed on that day, Victor came the following week to complete the job. In the meantime, I decided that I need to have one additional light installed for an additional cost which they were willing to do on the day Victor came, so I was very happy. Overall, I was very satisfied with their work and I want to thank all the workers, including Steven, Raul, Cesar and most of all Victor.

They did an excellent job. They are on time, do a professional job, and leave your home clean.

Very well. From making the appointment to meeting with Tony to provide an estimate, review what was to be done, what we needed to do, set an agreed install date and the workers arrived, was flawless. Hector, Sergio and Jose arrived on time, introduced themselves, took of their shoes, laid down plastic from the outside walkway to the kitchen, said when they will be done and they went to work. They are the nicest bunch of guys, very polite and very hard working. They were done 15 minutes early. They went over everything with us, answered all our questions and left our property spotless. With those ugly fluorescents gone the ceiling looks great. The new light switch permits you to adjust the lighting from extremely bright to very dim. Plus I'm saving money on electricity. I don't miss the hum from the fluorescents. From the person we talked to, to the estimator, to the workers, all the people involved were professional, friendly and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Install My Lights.

They made recommendations that actually lowered our overall cost while eliminating the need to open up holes for wiring. The crew was very professional, polite and not only did a superb job on the installation but also used plastic to cover everything and cleaned up after completion. Wonderful! We could not be happier. Hector and Cameron arrived early (just to be ready for our appointment time); they very carefully covered all areas with plastic; we very helpful and patient as we located exactly where each light should be hung; they were very quick and cleaned up everything (like they had not been here). Everything works. We were amazed.

Fernando and Cameron were very professional. They arrived within the scheduled time window and texted when on their way as I requested. They explained everything and got to work laying plastic. They showed me the light placement before cutting. The lights look great and they cleaned up quickly. I will reuse them later for the kitchen.

They were very professional. A representative came out and provided an estimate. I called the office and scheduled an appt for a couple of weeks later. A crew of 4 guys came out on time and prepared for the work by placing plastic throughout the rooms to protect home and furniture. Great group of guys and the work was competed as promised with repairs to drywall included. I highly recommend this company.

I wish there was a better word than "awesome" to describe this company. Hector and Cameron were amazingly personable and great at their jobs! I have never seen anyone patch holes better than Hector! Special thanks to Tonny who gave me the initial estimate and was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions leading up to the install.

When I first bought my Condo, it had no lighting whatsoever. I decided I wanted to install recessed lighting because it just looked better than having a bunch of floor lamps. I found Install My Lights through yelp and after reading the reviews, I scheduled an in home estimate. The owner came by that Saturday and gave me an estimate which was quite reasonable. I called that evening and scheduled the actual installation. The installers arrived on time and completed the task without any trouble. They cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely do business with them again.

Tonny came out Saturday 5/5/2016 and gave us an estimate for Recessed light installation in our house. Liked the price and all the positive reviews on Angie's List and decided to have them do it. Fernando and Tomas arrived here 5/18 at 8:15 and proceeded to tape up with plastic sheeting and cover everything in the kitchen and adjacent area to keep it from getting dusty. Removed the original boxed ceiling ,fluorescent lights and electrical conduit. Then they hauled out to the van all they old items they had removed. Next they cut out openings for 7 Six inch lights in the kitchen. Then cut openings for a four inch light in the pantry and a four inch flood over the mantle. They installed all the lights then skip troweled the ceiling to the same texture as the front room and dining room. After this everything was taken down put away and cleaned up. Both Fernando and Thomas did great work and we were very pleased with the outcome. They were neat, meticulous and very professional. Both of them padded around with just their socks and no shoes so as not to scuff or track anything in. Install My Lights provided quality work at a very reasonable price and I would HIGHLY recommend both them and the company for any future work. Count us as another satisfied customer.

This company is AWESOME! We have an add-on room in our house that has a flat roof with only about 4" of clearance in some areas. They came out and setup the area that looked like a hazmat unit quarantined off the room to ensure no mess was left behind. They started the process and realized they were unable to install any recessed lights due to the can housing exceeding the 4" clearance. The installers then had to leave but told me not to lose hope and that they would look for a solution. I was told this was a very odd situation and only the second time the installer has not been able to complete a job. Low and behold I received a call from them saying they had found a low profile solution that they thought would work. They came out and went through their "quarantine" process and started the install. It took the installers a bit longer (but still the same day) as these lights were a new product but they did an amazing job! The lights are awesome and the room no longer feels like living in a cave. I cannot say enough about the expertise and professionalism of the installers and Andrew (our sales consultant). When they left it was like they were never there as they just rolled up the plastic and were like the wind. On top of all of this, the price was waaay below what I would have expected to pay. These guys will be my go-to for anything having to do with lighting in our home from here on out - thanks!

I called to obtain a quote, spoke to Linda.She asked my zip code and stated they dont service my area. I said the profile says Riverside County as well as other areas. She said that information is incorrect and they have no way to change it I asked to speak to Andrew, the owner listed and she took my number down. I received a call back from the owner Andrew who reiterated that he was unable to change the profile (they used to service the area but have no rep out this direction) from Angies List on his own and that he had contacted Angies List to fix this. Nonetheless, he did not offer to provide an estimate given the misleading profile, even though we are only 25 miles away. He did apologize.

Our experience was very positive from the initial estimate meeting with Andrew, to the day of installation with Hector, Jose and Cameron. All of them were very polite, professional and efficient. I still can't believe they were able to add recessed lights to our vaulted ceilings without having to cut any other holes than those needed for the lights. We will definitely be having them back to install lights in our bathroom, bedroom and family room.

. Hector and Cameron arrived on time, they introduced themselves to both my wife and myself, very professional, (in their approach), and ready to go to work. Shoes removed prior to entering, we all went to the kitchen. Hector explained exactly what the work would consist of. Cameron was all ready laying pads to cover the floor, and reading the plastic to in case the kitchen and a length to the restroom. After about couple of hours Hector called me in to show were he though the lights should be, went with his suggestion, best move. Four hours later all the plastic and pads remover, we seen the finial project . Previously i was informed that the kitchen would be finished paint ready. Paint ready was, the full kitchen ceiling had bean restructured. Anew meaning to paint ready. Project finished in about 6 hrs. GREAT WORK and many THANKS to HECTOR and CAMERON.

I honestly dread hiring new contractors because we're almost always disappointed. Install My Lights is different. These guys were professionals from the first interaction to job completion. No project has ever been this easy. I wish I had done it a long time ago. Hector and Jose were on time, courteous, and clean. They made minimal cuts into the drywall and patched it up perfectly (better than professional drywall contractors I've hired in the past). I have two more rooms that need recessed lights and I will definitely be calling Install My Lights to do the job.
