HomeShield Pest Control

Each year, we get some outbreak of ants, crickets, spiders, or some combination thereof. The outbreaks occur usually during the summer months, so I usually just have a company come out and do a one time service each year. This year, I chose HomeShield Pest Control because they advertised themselves as using more eco-friendly products for pest control. While I cannot prove that their products are any more friendly for the environment, I figured it couldn't hurt. The technician that came out was Brayden B. He had finished his last job early so he got to my appointment early. Brayden could not have been any more professional, not only in his dress but his behavior. Before beginning any work, we went over the treatment he was to provide to ensure the work and the price were the same as what was promised me when making the appointment. He went over warranty information and provided me a copy of the invoice. Often times, technicians show up and just go to work. Brayden wanted to make sure everything was correct and acceptable upfront. Less opportunity for errors or misunderstandings. The treatment was about the same as provided by other companies. Brayden sprayed the baseboards and trouble areas with the magic pest juice. During the treatment, Brayden answered any questions and engaged me in polite, friendly conversation. When finished, he offered to come back, at no charge, if any of pests returned within 30 days. Brayden is a credit to HomeShield and I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends seeking pest control. As far as the service itself, it is my first time using this company. Time will tell if their bug concoction will keep the pests away as promised. On a side note, this was the first time I did not have to leave my home after the treatment for a couple hours. Every other time I have had treatment with other companies, that has been a requirement. Not sure if that reflects on the safety of the product they use, but it was nice not to have leave. Overall, I would definitely consider using HomeShield again and I would certainly welcome Brayden back to complete the service.

They are not careless, what I really like about them is that they used a lot of green products which is organics.
