+ -1 moreOn 11/21/08 I called Gateway regarding delivery of the motherboard and was told to expect it next week. On 11/26/08 I called Gateway regarding delivery and was told to expect the motherboard the week of 12/15/08. On 1/26/09 I e-mailed Gateway and informed them of the missed delivery dates (11/27/08, 112/15/08). Gateway does not provide any information to me regarding delivery of the motherboard that was ordered unless I contact them. Gateway only provides the Tech Support phone number and the initial Tech Support personnel refer any actions to a level two Tech Support at Gateway. The waiting times on the tech support calls are substantial. Gateway tech support have failed to provide any practical method to be used to contact Gateway in order to resolve this delivery issue. I feel powerless in this situation with Gateway computer and am enlisting the resources that Angie's List can bring to bear on my behalf in order to resolve this failure to deliver a part that was ordered. Thank you for your assistance.
Description of Work: The Geek Squad officers at Best Buy have diagnosed the problem with this two-year old computer and have informed me that the motherboard must be replaced. I contacted Gateway for a replacement motherboard for a approximately two-year old computer. On 11/10/08 I placed an order for the replacement motherboard (order number 1-40ZJPA). Gateway has neither delivered the motherboard that was ordered nor have they contacted me with a scheduled delivery. Almost three months have passed since the order was made.
