Fix My AC Heating & Cooling

Not well. The couple was charming and I thought I had found someone who combined old-word craftsmanship with new-word technology. Not the case. Once they finished their install, the system consistently produced errors/problems/shut downs on a daily/weekly basis. I was patient for over a year as they tried to remedy the issues. But, after 66 emails, 73 phone calls/texts, and 10+ house visits, nothing has improved. I don't know whether the issue is incompetence or a lack of professional pride. The final straw was the water damage caused by an overflowing unit due to improper drainage setup. When the vendors came to assess water damage they identified multiple safety and efficiency violations with the A/C installation. City inspector came out and confirmed violations--cited us on five major issues. The AC equipment manufacturer was frustrated with FixMyAC and ended up sending a different contractor out to diagnose and correct the issues. That vendor reinstalled the AC system and it has worked perfectly since. I'm pleased the manufacturer was able to provide some guidance but I wish I could've avoided the additional cost ($4,315) to reinstall the system properly and the cost ($2,610) to repair the water damage. Not to mention the time/frustration needed to correct something that should've been avoided to begin with.

They did an awesome job! The units are now running much more efficiently. Most impressive was the fact they didn't try to sell me a new Mini Split like everyone else- he said it just needed some good old fashioned maintenance! A true professional. Thank You!

A+ all the way for this company. I was in a jam because Aliso Air claimed they were too busy to deal with my issues to I called Fix My AC for service. My wife called them at 9am on 9/9/15 and they were out to our house on the same day at 1pm. Both Cecilia and Avi are really pleasant to deal with and professional. They gave us great service and knew exactly what was wrong with our AC unit. Something that Aliso Air failed to see. Both of them remained professional and never said anything bad about them but I knew it was Aliso Air that caused this issue in the first place. Within 15 minutes or less, they figured out the issue with our AC unit and had it back up running in about 40 minutes. I highly recommend them. They are very easy to work with and fantastic. Honest and the price was very reasonable for the work and service they provided. Both of them did everything to accommodate our schedule and they are open on the weekends. This place totally gets the concept of the customer service and I would not hesitate to use them going forward. Once they were done with my repair, they were off to service the next customer.

They were very up front that the crack filler might not work, so I wouldn't have complained about that if it went wrong. But the timing makes me think the compressor dying was related to the service they performed. So we paid $800 for nothing and have to buy a new AC.

When I contcted them they gave me a time range of 11 to 1:30 - they arrived at 11:10. I needed my thermostat fixed and for my heating system to be checked. All taken care of within 20 minutes. I will use them again when I need any HVAC help. They were not only professional but just very nice people. Ke

I was very impressed with this company. I called them in the morning and after being unable to find anyone available for the same day, and who can work on a hydronic heating system, I was able to find this company on google that was available to come in that afternoon. I found one other positive review on Angie's List, so decided to use them. They came on time and were very friendly and professional. The technician, Avi, immediately diagnosed the problem, whereas previous Heating companies we've used have spent a long time trying to figure out the system before figuring out what's wrong. In fact one other company I contacted before this one said it would take 3 hours for someone to come out and figure out how the heating system was put together in our house before fixing anything. Avi was very knowledgeable and comfortable working with a hydronic heating system. He replaced a broken "hot surface" in about 20min and spent another 20min doing some extra work fixing some loose electrical boxes in the unit for free. They also said there was a water leak to watch out for that might cause problems in the future, and they explained how to fix it ourselves. The $275 charge seemed pretty reasonable. The best thing was, 15 minutes after they left we were no longer freezing in our house and did not have to wait until the next week! We'll definitely be using this company for our heating issues should we need them again!!

They were really good. They were very responsive. I had a problem with my air conditioning. I called them and they called me back. They were up here the same day and got it fixed the same day. In terms of price, they were not cheap but what they gave me in return was well worth it. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.
