Description of Work: Bobby is a nice guy and I met twice to go over work to be done. Both times did not provide complete estimates. Second time did not respond at all for the missing estimates after multiple emails.. Its a shame because I had up to $80K worth of work that I was looking to do. If he can't do a specific job he should let the customer know to not waste anyone's time.

Description of Work: Dear Angie's List. The irony of my remodeling nightmare is that I hired this contractor based on your reviews, don't discriminate & not print my review so you don't look bad. Do your homework next time on actual restrictions of the contractors license as well as disciplinary actions taken against the contractor you have in your reviews. Shortly after the onset of my horrible experiences with this business all of his previously accessible reviews on your website had a padlock symbol on all his information leaving any & all relevant data inaccessible. |Here is my review, will you do the right thing & print it? I will look for it. | |Granite counter tops, (did not order enough granite slabs cut from the same stone , cut corners to facilitate their error. Put in wood floors--did not level sub floor prior to installation. Floor cracks & creaks when I walk on them. Elegant Home Improvement Did not use licensed plumbers when remodeling shower and bathtubs. Plumbing connections failed when water was turned on flooding my residence. The owner of Elegant Home Improvement lied about his contractors licence stating he was licensed to perform all aspects of my job when In fact he was licensed to do nothing more than "sell" flooring. I dug for information on this "contractor" (after foolishly trusting Angie's List when I first hired Elegant Home Improvement) & found numerous citations from the California State Contractors Licensing Board. The whole process was an absolute nightmare. Do not be fooled by this smooth talker, he couldn't get the basics right & used unqualified family members to lay my expensive wood and stone floors + do the plumbing which ended up flooding my residence due to improper solder joints on copper lines that blew apart when they were subjected to water pressure. I reported this contractor to the proper CA State authorities as well as the BBB. | |Chris E.

 + 0 moreThe total installation was done in one day by a team of four men. They took extra care by adding felt to bottom of all the furniture (except the piano) to provide ease in moving the furniture for cleaning and prevent unnecessary scratching of the floor. They did a good job.

Description of Work: I got an estimate and looked at the products which seemed to be high quality. It was definitely the best estimate for the services for a kitchen remodel.  + -1 moreElegant Improvement's Bobby Hohseni and his employee, Sohie; greeted us in his showroom on a dreary Saturday morning. He listened to our needs and preferences and he and Sophie directed us to a beautiful hardwood flooring that was also on special! - turned out to be a great price and it offered everything we wanted including color and durability without sacrificing beauty. They also helped us with new base boards which were already included in the pricing for the floor. Before we left, we a very good idea as to the cost and time for the installation. Bobby was at our home that afternoon and the floors were installed the following Thursday. His crew was fantastic, their work was impeccable and they were great guys; a pleasure to have in our home. Of special note: We have a sunken living room and family room which have room-width steps. The bull nosing needed was cut, fitted and stained onsite and they look amazing. Also, because Bobby does all types of home improvements, he had some great suggestions on where we should install the flooring and how to continue the flooring remodel process once we could move forward with more work. The flooring has transformed the look and feel of our 1980's carpet/tile home! We will be using Elegant Improvement, Inc. in the future for all of the updates we have planned. We are thrilled!
Description of Work: Bobby assisted us with picking the proper flooring and within a half hour, we had scheduled a site visit and the installation. The floors were installed by his crew and they did an amazing job! Lovely, lovely people!

Bobby, the owner, was never upset about all the inconvenience this might have caused him. He was always cheerful and helpful. His main installer, Mario, was a pleasure to work with and knew his trade well. This is what you hope for when you subscribe to Angie's List. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They installed all the stuff without any problems. So far I haven't seen anything wrong with it. Everything was put back together properly. I've had no problems with it. They knew what they were doing. They had forethought and my vision and their vision coincided. They had a good sense of how to execute with the cuttings and the way the stuff should be laid out. I might use them again.

Bobby was punctual and professional, quickly taking the appropriate measurements and providing us with a cost estimate before leaving our home. The installation was made within days of our making the final decision on materials. The crews were efficient and did excellent work on the installation of all the different materials. They also took extra care to make sure everything was cleaned up when they finished. We definitely plan on using Elegant Home Improvement when we decide to do additional work on the home. We would strongly recommend them to others looking to replace or install new flooring.

They took out the old tile and carpeting, and scraped it all down and prepared the surface very well. They laid out the laminate and made it look very nice. It turned out very well and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

 + 4 moreSeamless. Bobby came out to the house for measuring, then we went to his shop to pick out our materials. He has a large supply of material in a small space. For the bathroom, he suggested a travertine, that we went with. It is beautiful and the price was great. Once the contract was signed, the tile installer took one day. The wood flooring specialists took one day to install the most beautiful wide plank distressed engineered wood. It looks awesome. A couple days later the carpet was installed on the stairs. Meanwhile the plumber installed the new bathroom trim and updated the valves. The whole job took about a week.
Description of Work: We remodeled our master bedroom (wood floor) and bath (travertine and fixtures) as well as the stairs (carpet). The owner Bobby responded to our interests with high quality materials, very talented workers and an excellent price. New 4 inch baseboard was included in the price. My husband wanted to bury cables behind the baseboard, and they were very agreeable to work with him to make it happen. The result is a beautiful, clean appearance. Each team member was fast, efficient and easy to work with. I cannot think of anything we would have done differently.

I explained what I wanted and showed him the color of my existing cabinetry and he immediately pulled out the material sample I ended up selecting along with several others. He had good advice color and material wise that I ended up following and I'm glad I did. He was no nonense about the pricing which beat all the other people I'd talked to(the big ads you see everywhere). Unlike the others, it wasn't like buying a used car but instead was straightforward and all inclusive. His installers were top notch as well and even moved my furniture for me. They did a beautiful job. I'm glad I chose Elegant Interiors.
