About us

I restore and refinish entry doors. I do all the work "on site" meaning you have more control over the outcome (color etc.) and you can actually watch the progress. Plus there is added security without ugly plywood covering the opening.Over the years doors become damaged by weather and the sun exposure. In order for doors to last, they need to have proper coatings and periodic TLC. I have over 40 years of finishing experience to apply to your doors in order to make them beautiful and long lasting! Doors are normally solid and will refinish beautifully, saving thousands on the replacement costs!

Ed Arthur of Invision Finishing Services of Irvine arrived on Monday and began the process of sanding doors and employing his expertise. Ed spent the entire week with us sanding, applying several coats of stain and finally the marine varnish to complete the doors. He finished the work on Friday after working on the doors for five (5) full days. We sent the tarnished hardware out to be refinished to their original polished brass finish. I couldn't be happier with the final outcome. A truly amazing woodworker.
Description of Work: Badly weathered solid oak entry doors (double doors) had to be refinished. They were so badly weathered that I didn't think anything could be done to restore them to their original appearance.
