Description of Work: Originally purchased four hours of service. John is a nice man, and was prompt and professional. He was able to do the initial simple shower head repair after I went out and purchased a part. He sent in another man to reinstall a dishwasher that had come loose. The "repair" still left the dishwasher tilted,everything coming out when the door was opened. I was told that I would get a call about completing the repair; a week and a half later, I still haven't received that call. Even after calling him again. I am disappointed in the lack of follow-up (something that seems typical of handymen), and will not use him again.

Description of Work: I purchase four hours from Andreas Fault. I received two men for two hours. One, Andreas, appeared to be skilled. The other person was a novice. It took two men two hours to hang one cabinet and initially they did it wrong. I made them redo it. Cabinet hangers do hot leave gaps between cabinets. How dumb can one be. So the time went over two hours to fix the mistake. He made a comment about not charging me extra for the "overtime." Hello? He caused the problem. I felt this was a dishonest deal. I expect better from Angie.

Description of Work: They did several jobs around my house, new stucco on a wall with adding electrical outlets. Replacing the fascia around my house, installing new doors and ceiling fan and some drywall repair work around new windows. They did a great job. They need a little work on scheduling, but always stayed late to complete the work.

Description of Work: John was very polite and tried to fix three different problems. He was able to fix the shower valve but not the ceiling fan or the attic door. He tried both failed projects but the outcome was not good. I am not really complaining about his work but we didn't really get our money's worth.

 + 0 moreHe was extremely professional and knowledgeable about all things gas related since he was a former Gas Company employee. The shut-off valve was solidly affixed to the gas meter and John reinforced and painted the gas meter at no extra charge so that everything matched and the shut-off would not be accidentally triggered. I did this for a new house I bought. Since John is an active home inspector he also pointed out a few things that my home inspector missed.

 + -1 moreI made an appointment to have a gas shutoff valve installed, and was given a specific date and time. The service tech never showed up, and didn't bother to call. After an hour had passed from the time the tech was scheduled to appear I decided to call the company because I was highly annoyed at the unprofessionalism. I keep a very busy schedule and missed running errands so I could wait the 4 hour window that I was given. When I called I spoke directly to the person that was scheduled to do the work. I asked him what the problem was and why hadn't he arrived or called, and he indicated that he had an emergency with one of his eyes the day before my appointment. His emergency was the day before so I didn't quite understand why he or someone else from the company didn't call to reschedule there obviously was plenty of time to do this. This person also indicated that he dropped the ball and never entered my scheduling information in the system.

 + 0 moreGreat Experience. Called around for the Earthquake Valve and they charged $250 installed when others were charging more for just the parts. We had an addition built and a condition of it passing final inspection was having this valve installed. Was offered an appointment the next day. As requested, they called 30 minutes before they got there (scheduled a 2 hour window) Installation was quick and professional. They spray painted the remaining piping so it all looked the same. They then relit my hot water heater and waited for about 10 minutes for the water heater to reactivate (it was the water heaters fault not theres) and said they carry spare water heater parts because sometimes older ones won't restart.
Description of Work: Intall a Northridge Earthquake valve on my natural gas line.

 + 0 moreFantastic experience. John came out on a Saturday morning and installed an Earthquake Gas Shut Off Valve. We had found his services via Groupon, but we missed the time line and he still honored the price. The work involved more than the standard installation fee and he still held his Groupon price. John even installed a larger fitting to make sure we passed the permit inspection. He then painted and cleaned up the installation. He is a very honest and friendly person with 18 years experience working for the gas company. He really knows what needs to get done for these jobs. We will be referring him to family and neighbors. Can't go wrong with them. Check out other companies and then give him a call. His company is great and they are licensed and bonded. A+++++!
