Description of Work: They assessed the problem with my water softener and determined that the tank needed a new coating or resin applied. They were quick to respond and fairly priced. I have used them twice now and very happy both times.

+ 0 moreWas able to come the same day I called. Found problem to be leakage from distorted plastic bypass valve, probably caused by strain from rigid pipe connections. Unit was installed outside and ground had settled. Should have had flex lines when originally installed 6 years ago. I wasn't sure that the unit was worth fixing, but a new one would have been over $500 at Home Depot, so it was well worth calling them to fix this. A new one would eventually have had same problem due to lack of flex lines. Technician was pleasant and efficient.
Description of Work: Repaired leaking GE water softener installed outside. Replaced bypass valve and installed flex water lines to the unit to prevent future failure due to settling of ground.

Description of Work: My soft water unit was overflowing and needed service. John came out to my house - on schedule - and was able to see the problem, replaced a broken part and had the unit back online within an hour. Gave me great advice on the type of salt product to use to avoid a backup. Highly recommend Alaska Water.
