Description of Work: Had a leak, wanted to sell me a whole new roof for $12,000.00. To fix the leak they wanted $2500.00 and 14/21 days to complete. Went with another, they fixed the leak in 3 days for $1,250.00

Description of Work: I met with the project manager, Jay Gioia, to point out leaky areas on the roof. He took a look and recommended a tune-up, which they scheduled and took care of promptly. He is an excellent communicator - sent emails with updates on the scheduling, and the crew seems to have done a good job - no leaks during the last rain storm. I plan on using them again in the future.

Description of Work: Removed all the tiles, replaced wood damaged by termite infection and dry rot replaced with two layers of tar paper and then replaced all the tiles if broken then they were replaced with new ones

Description of Work: They fixed a couple of leaks on my roof. One near my skylight and the other in a roof valley. It went great. The were on time, tore up my roof, fixed the problems and then some, cleaned it up and left.

Description of Work: We needed repair to our garage roof that was leaking. Scott came out and took a look and gave us an estimate to do the job. Once job was started it turned out to be more extensive than Scott first believed. Scott did the job and only charged us for additional materials not labor. I would use Scott again and really appreciated his work and professional handling of our roof.

Description of Work: Jay from Above It All Roofing re-did the roof of our 1922 Historical District house in Long Beach, Ca. His team removed three layers, repaired/replaced rotted wood, even notching out a "seam" on one panel by hand to match the existing wood. The team was here for 3.5 days, cleaned up every day before leaving and where extremely professional and ON TIME EVERY DAY!!!! Jay is great to work with and we will use him and his company for any future house!

Description of Work: The re-roof turned out to be more involved and expensive by nearly $4000 above the original estimate, due to most of the sheathing being replaced. That said, the job done by the crew during extreme wind and high temperatures was great. The foreman, Alex discussed daily with me the status of the project. There were a few small items that needed to be done after they crew left, but the owner came out and I was assured that within a couple of days they would be completed. True to his promise, Alex was back out to finish 2 days later. It was a pleasure to deal with Above It All and I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Im SO impressed with Scott! Every estimate by other companies was $1500 to repair my roof and NO ONE but Scott wanted to see my situation first before the estimate. Some wanted a fee just to come out! Scott drove to Temecula where i live and went on my roof and plugged up a few small problems. He said if that didnt fix it he would have to charge me for more repairs! OMG! Scott didnt charge me for his time and now i am forever going to recommend his excellent service and commitment to his customer's satisfaction!! Wow! His repairs DID fix my problem. Description of Work: I highly recommend Above It All Roofing. Jay was very prompt, professional, and explained all the options thoroughly. If you care about the aesthetics of your home, make sure to go online and take a look at the O'Hagin attic vents Jay uses versus the vents most other roofers specify. There's a BIG difference and, not only do Jay's vents look a lot better, but also they allow much greater air flow which will help keep your attic and home much more comfortable in the summer without having to run the AC as much. Proper venting is critical for long-term roof performance and most roofers under-specify this aspect because it is an extra cost that many homeowners do not understand the importance of and therefore do not value. This is one area where a few extra dollars spent on the front end will pay big dividends for years to come (Yes, I'm a bit nerdy and did a bunch of research on this topic). Price was very competitive and was accompanied by by numerous value-added details both in the tangible end product and service quality that made the overall value superior. At risk of sounding like a commercial, Above It All Roofing's name says it all.

Description of Work: My wife and I needed our roof replaced and knew very little about residential roofing construction. One of the bids we received was from Above ait All Roofing, Inc and we were immediately struck by how easy it was to work with Jay Gioia, the project manager who handled our work. He was extremely polite, very detailed in explaining our options and most of all very patient with our long list of questions and requests for clarification. One thing we loved about Jay was his easy going personality and his responsiveness to our emails and phone calls. Construction was really smooth, they started on time and worked with us in coordinating their installation with our electrician. Jay kept an eye on the weather and even sent a crew late at night to quickly cover the roof when the marine layer was threatening to dump excessive moisture on our unfinished roof. Even when we were faced with some unexpected hiccups Jay was right there to help and make it right. We also want to recognize their foreman Rico, who made sure his workers were safe and the level of quality high. Also a great guy to work with. We would not recommend any other company for any type of roofing work, we love our new roof.

Description of Work: I own a commercial building downtown santa ana. One of my tenants was experiencing a leak along their windows/wall every time it rains hard. I contacted Above it All Roofing and was promptly called back to schedule an appointment to assess the situation. Jay was super. He came to my location and called me when he was on his way. He looked around the building and on the roof top and said he'd send one of his foreman out to get up on a ledge to check out if there were any cracks, etc. As promised, he called to let me know he was sending his crew out the next day. He did not find any areas that were apparent that would cause the leak. (The tenant is on the first floor and it's a 2 story building where the 2nd floor tenant doesn't have a problem!) As such, he added some tar to a few areas along the ledge of the roof and didn't charge me anything! He told me to contact him the next time it rains and if it fixed the problem, I will pay him then. If not, he will come back out and look into it further. Now that's what I call great customer service! I will definitely call Jay should I ever have any roofing needs and recommend him.

I consulted Angies's list and noticed a company with sterling reviews from many past customers, so I picked up the telephone and made an appointment. Jay from Above It All Roofing, Inc. arrived at our appointment at exactly the time he committed to meeting with my husband and me. From the moment we met Jay, we felt at ease. He exhibited a warm and friendly demeanor. Jay examined our problem and explained to us several solutions to correct our roofing problem with our budget in mind. Because of the complexity of our situation, Jay also explained that we may need to consult with a general contractor who could address our problem, because it involves several repair issues beyond the scope of roofing alone. He has made contact with us several times after our initial meeting to re-examine the situation and offer his expertise. If and when we have any other roofing issues, we will be sure to call Jay first, someone we consider to be an honest, caring, and trustworthy contractor.

Description of Work: David Came out to give a bid for a minor roof repair over my porch area. He was professional and on time. He inspected my roof and gave me two bids. The repair only was to cost $5700.00. If I wanted to have the whole roof repapered then it would equal 12-15K! DOH!
