They worked around my painter's schedule, were punctual and very focused on quality. Ruben and his crew were very organized and kept clean work site. Above it All wasn't the cheapest but gave us excellent value. You do truly get what you pay for. Mike Allen told me at the beginning of the job that I'd be happy with the work and I am... a great job!

Jay was very professional through the entire process even when my inspector had some questions about the product. He went above and beyond to help solve any questions or problems that came about. I am very satisfied with the company and especially working with Jay.

I give them A on everything, they did an excellent job. Their price is compatible, a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. It rained and there were no leaks. I thought the price was high compared to other roofers, but the quality; they were here everyday, the guy sales person was here several times during the two day period and stayed for hours. I got to really like the guy because he showed an extreme interest in getting my job done and done right. He took care of all the city permits and all the follow-up. We had a little problem, not with him, but with the city. They have their own truck to get ride of all the waste, this saves them money from having to rent a dumpster. The city didn't want to give them a permit to use their own truck.

Above it all Roofing did a great job- they were very prompt in replying to my request for a quote, and while it took a long time to get the skylights made, they arrived at my house right when they said they would and completed all the work in under and hour and a half. They were neat, polite and made the whole process rather easy on me. Not long afterward our ceiling sprung a leak from the spring rains. As soon as I let Jay know that we were having issues, they had somebody up on the roof in only a day or so and they fixed the leak free of charge. Very responsive and punctual business, would definitely use again.

They started promptly on the day and time agreed. Be aware they start at sun up and work to sun down. Makes for long days, but the job gets done quickly. Great cleanup each day. The crew was friendly and very polite. I have no negative comments to make as we are totally pleased with the work done and the price for the final bill.

Jay handled the estimate and work completion. He made multiple trips (required because of limited parking in the area) to finish the job before the next predicted rain storm. The work has a warranty, which I suspect I will not need to use. I asked him about the roof and he said to check back in three years, which I plan to do. At that time, I will follow their suggestion for the silicon sealer on the flat roof, an upgrade that Jay tells me will be my last roof maintenace required. I am so pleased with the work done that Above It All Roofing, Inc., has become MY roofer of choice. I look forward to my continuing relationship with these professionals.

When I faxed the signed estimate back, it was about 8 days before I heard anything back about scheduling. I got a call late Monday afternoon (1/30) to set up a schedule, and they wanted to come the next day at 8:00am. Luckily I had the day off, so it wasn't a problem, but a little more notice would have been prudent as a general rule. On the day of the repair, the crew showed up at nearly 9:00am, and while they did not knock or otherwise advise me I heard them immediately get up on the roof. The whole process took two hours approximately. After work was complete they rang the doorbell and I met them at the front door. Jay explained the work that was done. The paper (under the tiles above the wood) was drying out and pulling away from the metal flashing at the end of the roof by the office, and when combined with slipped tiles was allowing the water to get in, so that was fixed. In the garage, they discovered that the roof doesn't seem to be the culprit, but somehow the Satellite Dish installation was allowing water to leak in onto the ceiling of the garage. They sealed the area they believed was allowing the water in.After I paid them and signed the paperwork, I was offered a discount on more elaborate work. It seemed to amount to pulling up all the tiles, and replacing the paper with two layers of felt and reworking the flashings. Like a whole re-roof minus the tiles. Jay recommended that if new leaks spring up in other areas in the next couple years to consider that as an option. When the crew left there were no debris or anything to indicate they had been there. I don't think my job required much cleanup honestly. I would use their services again definitely.

I called Above It All Roofing for help with a recurring roof leak at a skylight in my kitchen. The area had been patched several times over the past few years but the problem would not go away. We have a combination flat roof with portions tile. Jay Gioia responded to my request for a quote for repair, came out to our home very quickly, and presented several options and good information regarding the GACO roof coating. Jay was very willing to discuss a plan for updating and repairing our entire roof over time. We started with the section where we had the leak problem. As we had visitors coming, we needed the work completed quickly and I was so impressed with the speed of scheduling and the professionalism of Jay, Reuben and their associates. The roof was completed quickly, cleanly, and at a fair price. What more can you ask for? A few days after the work was done we had a terrible wind storm which ripped a long piece of flashing from the tile portion of the roof. Jay sent someone out very quickly to repair this damage. Two days after the wind storm, we had rain. No leak! So far, so good, and I have great faith that should the leak recur, Jay will take care of it. I feel so confident in their work that I had the interior ceiling area damaged by the old leak repaired and repainted. I was also impressed that Jay was in constant touch via email. I am thrilled to have found such a quality roofing company in this area!

My wife and I were very happy with Above It All in general and Jay and Reuben in particular. We were very impressed with their professionalism because as challenges arose, as they are like to do with any job of this scale, Above It All took corrective actions at no additition charge to us. We would recommend this contractor and use their services again in the future.

The experience went better than I expected.

It was clockwork. They showed up when they were supposed to and my roof was done on schedule. They responded very quickly. I had just moved into a house with a water leak so it was important to me to have this leak dealt with quickly. We have not had any water leaks since. There was no mess and everything has worked well. They have a new type of roofing material wwhich is supposed to last a very long time.

They did a great job and the price was reasonable. Clean up could have been better.

Mike Allen came out on November 1 to look at our roof, which was leaking in several places, and give me an estimate. He was professional, knowledgeable and seemed very honest. He gave me an estimate and wrote up the contact while he was there, unlike the other companies that would take several days. His price was much lower than the other bids and he did not want any $$ until the project was finish and we were completely satisfied. He email some references that day. I looked at them and they looked great so we decided to go with his company. Because of rain, he wasn't able to start until December 20 (Tuesday). His crew arrived at 7am, worked hard all day and stayed until the sun went down. They were all very professional and cleaned up each day. They removed the old tile roof, installed OSB, new galvanized pipe flashing, edge metal, new vents, painted pipes/vents to the color of the new tile and hauled away all the debris. They finished Friday morning (would have finished Thursday afternoon but they ran out of tiles). The roof looks great! We are extremely happy with our new roof (although it hasn't rained since so we haven't been able to test it out). However, Mike and his crew did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him to everyone! We couldn't believe his price and were a little concerned that it might go up once they removed the old roof and find rotted wood which would need to be replace but to our amazement, none of the wood needed to be replaced. He is very true to his word - regarding the price and job time (he said it would take less than a week unlike the other companies that said it would take 1-2 weeks). You don't find many people/companies like this that you can trust and that do such an excellent job!!

We worked with David who was awesome. He came out, inspected the roof and gave us an estimate of the cost and when the work could start. The job took 2 days. It was started and completed on time. There were no surprises and the final price was the same as the estimate. The workers did a great job. The roof looks great and they cleaned up everything, leaving no mess whatsoever. David was right on top of everything and always accessible by phone if we had any questions. If we got his voice mail he would call back immediately. He is very professional, knowledgeable and it is obvious that customer satisfaction is important to him. I would highly recommend this company.

Oustanding service! Jay was great to work with - very professional and very proactive in calling to provide me with updates on schedule and activities. Very helpful in helping me choose new roof material and color. Entire project was completed on time and in 3 days. I was out of town during repair but neighbors commented on how quickly the work team finished the job. I have glass panels on my deck which posed a challenge to protect during the old roof removal. Jay solved that issue and there was no damage to them. I highly recommend Jay and Above It All Roofing and would definitely choose them again for any roofing needs.

They came when they were scheduled and completed the work as agreed. The entire crew was courteous and worked quickly and efficiently. The entire process was smooth and easy. No complaints.

Originally, I was planning to replace the existing tile roof. However, Mike of Above it All Roofing told me that the existing concrete tiles could last for a long long time and did not need to be replaced. So we decided to have them power washed. This saved us about $4,000. I am very happy with the price and their work.

Jay returned my initial call the same day and was out to give us a quote within a few days. His quote was significantly less than the other quotes we got, but we did not make our decision solely on price. He said they would do a tune up of our entire roof as well as fixing the leak (and described in detail what would be done) as well as giving us a warranty of 2 return trips back should the roof leak again in the same area. This could be in 2 months or 10 years! We were very impressed by that aspect. When they returned to do the work, Jay surprised us by saying the leak area ended up being smaller than initially thought so the cost was actually about $500 less than the original quote! They did a great job (just rained and no leak!), were very professional and worked neatly. Our dogs even liked Jay - and they usually bark at anyone they don't know!! We would definitely recommend Above it All Roofing.

Above It All gave us a very reasonable cost and did an excellent job from start to finish. The workers came on time, finished the work according to schedule, and cleaned up after themselves each day. There was a lot of rotting wood (facia, shiplap, etc.) underneath to be replaced before they put on the shingles, and they still managed to complete the job on schedule. Dave was our project manager, and he took great care of us. He was very organized, did what he said he was going to do, and brought in an experienced crew who did quality work. We would definitely use Above It All again for any future roofing jobs.

From start to finish, the process could not have been easier. A day after I contacted the company, Jay came to my home on time and gave me an estimate. We then set up a time frame. The work team was on time, thorough and professional. I could not be more pleased.

When the roof was completed, I was told I would have to hire an independent painting contractor to paint the new fascia board and other new boards that were visible under the rafters . I hired a painter that David Brunn recommended. The painters discovered three more fascia boards that had termite damage and needed to be replaced. I was disappointed that the Above It All Roofing crew had missed seeing the need to replace those boards, which should have been done during the reroofing process. Overall, the roofing project turned out to be very good. It rained a few days later. There were no leaks. That really made me happy.

My experience was excellent. Jay came out and met with me on Saturday to accomodate my work schedule. He checked out some roofing concerns I had and recommended a complete roof turn up. He also referred me to another company that could help me with specially designed system to address a water drainage problem I was having. He did a great job and I would highly recommend this company.

I had a leak on the first level, but not evidence of a leak on the second level. I made an appointment for 10:00 a.m 03Oct2011 thru "Above it All Roofing" for an estimate to repair a perceived chimney leak. The original roofer had attempted to repair this leak on two occasions with no success. Mr. Jay Gioia showed up at 9:50 am 03Oct2011 and promptly diagnosed my problem as not even a roof leak, but a gutter problem where the gutter installer did not install a downsput on the side of the chimney or the installation should have been at an angle that allowed the water to flow downward. The water stains that were not apparent before were now evident that the water flowed from the guttering on the second level, penetrating the chimney on the first level, thus no leak from the roof. Mr. Gioia Diagnosed this problem within 3 minutes of his arrival and refused to accept any payment.. I would highly recommend Mr. Jay Gioia for his promptness, knowledge, experience, professional, and more importantly, his honesty. Any roofing problems I have in the future I will call "Above It All Roofing" and specifically request Mr. Jay Gioia , and also recommend both to all my friends and anyone else who has a roofing problem.
