Everything from the initial meeting and estimate to the conclusion of the job went smoothly without any coflicts. It was refreshing to actually have a contractor show up on time and go about the work in a professional manner. They always had enough people on site to get the work done on schedule. Including cleaning up the surrounding yard at the end of each day. The highest praise I think I mcould give them is that my wife and I were comfortable enough with them that we did not think we had to be there every minute watching them. From the first contact (which was promptly responded to by David) to the final inspection, we were impressed with the professionalism, skill and knowledge of the Above It All Roofing, Inc. team. David saw our problem immediately and suggested what was to us a "new" technique, the installation of a Gaco roof. He explained the procedure and product clearly, answering my many questions with courtesy and patience. I was most impressed with his integrity and concern for our needs. We hired his company on the spot with great confidence and peace of mind. We were not disappointed! The installation team, headed by Chico, arrived on time, and it was obvious from the beginning that they were skilled, experienced roofers. They worked carefully and meticulously in a very professional, timely manner. They were thoughtful to answer any concerns or questions we had and were very pleasant people to have at our home. Overall, their company is thorough, professional and highly skilled in the roofing industry. If I were to need a whole roof replaced I would definitely consider them in the future. I would also consider them down the road for a tile reset. I do think however, they should consider offering warranties on repair work. That would make them more competitive with other roofing contractors who do offer them.

In the middle of the night during recent heavy rains, a roof leak broke through our daughter's bedroom and was leaking onto her bed. Of course when I started calling for someone to come look at the condition, it was Friday and still raining. A few services said they could not come out to the house until the following week. Above It All was the only one able to come out on the same day. They came in the afternoon, and while they were not able to repair the same day due to the rain, they covered and stopped the leaking. They ordered materials and came back a week later to do the repair. They did most work on a Saturday and even came back Sunday morning to finish the job. Cleaned up well and hauled all the old stuff away, including the huge solar panel. They also let us pay around 2 weeks later, once they got their credit card service up and running. Overall a great experience and the best possible ending to a potentially troublesome roof problem.

Company was very professional and completed necessary work. We visually inspected the work and confirmed that they replaced materials where necessary. Workers communicated what was being done. Company was responsive. We do not hesitate to recommend them.

I called and set up an appointment for an estimate. Scott came right on time and made an estimate, explained the options. I was concerned about any damage to the roof caused by many leaks. He explained the added costs if a lot of damage was found. The job started a couple days late due to rain but Scott called and let me know exactly was was happening. The crew started every day between 8-9AM and worked till near dark. One day when rain was forecast for the next day they work a hour after dark making sure everything was covered and sealed so no more leaks. At the end of everyday they cleaned up the area, swept up any nails and debris. Scott came by to check the work regularly. I called him several times with questions and he returned my call within 10 minutes everytime. Scott was excellent answering all my questions and going the extra mile to make sure I was happy with the job. When the job was finished and it came time to pay the bill, it was right on as estimated no ups or extras. I chose this company because of the good reviews on angies list and am very happy to give them another one.

Scott gave me a thorough detailed estimate and description of the problem and solution (I asked for details).His company met a competitors bid so I gave Scott the job. They had a cancellation the next day and fit me in. The job was done just two days after signing the proposal! Made me happy to be taken care of quickly.

I'm a new homeowner and Jay made it very easy on me. They easily had the best price from all the quotes I received and they were quick and efficient in completing the job. Every issue I had was completely addressed and I would absolutely recommend this company again.

I noticed that one of the tiles from my roof had fallen off. I contacted three roofing contractors on Angie's list. Once did not return my call, the other told me I needed to buy a roof maintenance package for $550, then Jay called me back (thank goodness) he said he would swing by my house on his way home and give me an estimate. As promised he came by later that evening and said the tile has simply fallen off and needed to simply be replaced. He said his crew could be out the next morning first thing and they would replace it. While he was there my husband and I asked him him some other roof related questions and he answered honestly and gave easy do it your self answers. He didn't try to sell me a new roof or anything unnecessary but told me that every 5 or so years having the roof inspected is a good idea. I will definitely be calling him again!

Very well - it was the only company that agreed to come out quickly to cover the area on the roof as it was in the midst of a few days of rain right before Christmas. They couldn't repair it at that time, but they got there quickly to try and cover the area with tarp. It still leaked a bit but it prob would have been worse. They were then able to come out and repair right after Christmas. He offered the tune-up since the roof was 15 years old and no one had ever been up there after move in. We decided it was worth re-sealing everything and he also found some more slipped tiles. They were very nice and accomodating and seemed to do a very good job - it has rained a few times since and I haven't noticed any more spots. They gave me two trips back at no charge if I see any problems.

We recently bought a house that required a lot of updates. When we found out that there might some issues with the roof, we decided to call this company and wanted them to provide an estimate over the weekend. Scott was fantastic from the get-go - even though he had some jobs that he was working through, he made the time to meet us on a Sunday and explained everything in a clear and professional manner. He was constantly in touch with us as the date approached for the work and as the work was being performed. This has certainly been one of the smoothest experiences we've had with a contractor - Thank you Scott and AIA for the great work!

He was able to come out to a**** the roof. He showed me where he did the repairs and any other issues that I needed to be concerned about. As of right now we haven't made the decision on getting it repaired fully. When we do decide we will be defiantly be calling them up to do the job. He was very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend him to others.

It was a pleasure working with Above It All Roofing. Contractor Jay Gioia is very knowledgeable and professional. He kept me updated on the status of the project, and stopped by a few times to make sure everything was going according to schedule. He took care of the permits and was at my home when the city inspector came by. Jay's crew were on time each day, and they kept the area as neat and clean as possible during the project. I did have to clean out the garage after the project was completed, but other than that, they did a great job cleaning up. I would highly recommend Above It All Roofing, and will definitely use their services again.

I had previously used this company for a roof tune up and they had done a good job. I wanted to change my roof drainage system from roof drains to a traditional gutter system. I contacted Above It All Roofing to come out and provide me with a quote to do so. Jay Gioia came out to evaluate the situation and provide me with a quote. The job involved sealing the existing roof drains, doing some waterproofing repair work on the roof, extending the roof tiles to edge of roof, and replacing water damaged wood and facia. He also met with the company doing the gutters and coordinated that part of the job with his part of the job. His team was excellent. They provided some recommendations for additional improvements to the roof line which I thought were great and I accepted their bid. They completed the job in the estimated time of 2 days and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this company.

It took some time for enough rain to fall around here so I could be sure the leak was really repaired. It has rained and the roof does not leak! They went out of their way to fit my job in to their schedule and were extremely efficient in doing the work. Very fast and very clean. Highest recommendation

Very fast response even though it was a small job after a period of heavy rains.

I had a couple small areas of dry rot in the eaves, and a larger area in the garage ceiling, that I was concerned about. I called Above It All Roofing because of their great reputation on Angie's List, and they came out and took a look. I have an old roof that will likely need replacement in the next 5 years or so, and the last time it was replaced the new roof was simply added on top of the existing roof, so his recommendation was that the roof should just be repaired over the garage leak, and the areas of dry rot be ignored until the roof was replaced. Otherwise, the process of removing and replacing the bad wood would be pretty pricey. On the repair date, they arrived promptly on time, and the repair was done in less than an hour and a half. They were very patient in answering all my questions about both the repair and the general state of my roof.

Scott came by on Saturday, Dec 8, and gave me an estimate to do a complete recover of my roof, which had just one layer of shingles on it. He also included, in the estimate, the cost of replacing all the fascia board and metal flashings. His estimate was in line with similar jobs that were reviewed on Angie's List, and I felt I would be comfortable working with him, so I signed the contract that day. Knowing that I wished to have the job done before the first of the year, Scott arranged for his team to begin work on the roof the following Thursday, Dec 13. Because there was a chance of rain that day, Scott called me at 7am on Thursday to confirm that his crew would begin work as scheduled. He called me a little later to let me know that the crew would be a little late, which I appreciated very much as it kept me from worrying when they did not arrive at the expected time. As it turned out, their timing was perfect because the materials supply company arrived before them, and it took them about 45 minutes to unload their materials. The roofing crew arrived a few minutes after the materials team left, and got right to work. These fellas worked hard all day long, with just one short break for lunch, when we had a little rain. They worked together well as a team, and had the routine down pat. They first removed the fascia board and replaced it with the new primed fascia board. They replaced the old metal flashings with new flashings, then got started with the shingles. This continued until it was almost dark. At that point, they covered materials that would be damaged by rain, told me they would be back at 7am on Friday, and left. At 7:05am on Friday, the roofing team arrived. They completed the job in about three hours, cleaned up, and left. This has been a great expereince for me because it was stress free. Scott took care of everything, including pulling the permit. He patiently answered all my questions the day of the estimate, and on the multiple occasions I called or texted him for more information. He also came by several times on Thursday to check on the team's progress, and was there on Friday to make sure everything had been done correctly, and to be sure the team did a good job of cleaning up. I absolutely love my new roof. It makes my house look much nicer, and has given me a lot of psychological comfort because now I don't have to worry about rain water leaking into the house. I would definitely do business with Above it All Roofing again, and would definitely ask for Scott to be the project manager. Without a doubt, he really means it when he says to call if there are any concerns or questions. He came by today to take care of a small glitch between the old part of the house and an addition. This was not a roofing issue, just something I requested they fix for me. The roofing team forgot to do it so Scott took care of it. Reliability, dependability, trustworthy are all words that come to mind when I think of Scott and Above it All Roofing.
