We were extremely pleased with the outstanding service and professionalism of Above It All Roofing. We had our roof replaced at the beginning of February 2020. Every aspect of the process was handled with excellent service and responsiveness, from the initial quote, to choosing a roof color, to scheduling, to preparing for the job, to installing the roof, and to completing the job. We worked with Bob, and he was always available and helpful via phone or text, and he fulfilled every promise he made. We had never had a new roof installed before, so we had many questions. However, no question was too much of a bother for Bob to take the time to answer it. That was really important to us. During the job, all the workers showed up early in the morning, on time, every day, and worked throughout the day. The entire roof was removed and the new one installed in only three and a half days from start to finish. At the end of each day, the workers checked around the house carefully for debris and cleaned it up. Our quote was not the cheapest of all of them, but my experience with contractors tells me that you get what you pay for. Above It All Roofing did an excellent job, and we would highly recommend them. When it rained in March and April, we were so happy that we had replaced our roof and could feel assured that we would no longer have to worry about any potential leaks. We truly appreciate the job done by Above it All Roofing.

His team was professional and always cleaned up after working on the house. The job was finished in only two days! We were very pleased with Bob and his crews of Above It All Roofing. Bob is very professional, knowledgeable and care about his customer. He answered all our questions honestly and helpfully during the estimation, and offered us a fairly competitive price. He also made some difficulty schedule maneuvers to get the job done in the active raining season. The crews are skillful and polite. They come to site on time, prepared, and cleanup every day. The work was done quickly, and done in high quality. I was really happy to hire Above It All Roofing for my home re-roofing job.

UPDATE: Rating change due to miscommunication between the parties and contractor does not perform repairs on metal roofs. They never responded to my email or message to their answering service.

I not for for reviews but these guys did a phenomenal job on our roof. Very professional and thorough. Out of the quotes we got.Dave was the only rep to actually come out to the house to go on the roof to do the estimate. They also worked around the recent rains to make sure the roof was done correctly.

Needed a new roof and relied on Angie's list and other review sites. Above it all always came out on top and now I know why. Could not have been easier. No high pressure, no hard upsell. Just the facts presented so we could make our own decision. Scheduling was fine, always kept us in the loop. Crew was professional, careful not to damage anything like plants, etc. and cleaned up after themselves after each work day. Love our new roof.

Dave: During the bidding process for a new roof, I interviewed 3 other roofing companies besides your company. Your company stood out amongst the rest. When I met with you I felt that you stood behind your word, you had integrity and I felt comfortable that you knew what you were talking about. You explained the entire process of what might need additional work after removal of the old roof. You followed up when you said you would. When I signed the contract with no deposit down, you provided a date and schedule of when work would begin. Your team did a fantastic Job throughout the entire process. You showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. The most important thing is that you were at the job site daily. My wife and I searched Google, Yelp and Aggie List for the prospective roofing companies to assess our aging roof and to propose the right actions to repair the water damages, which we could see occurred at the corners of our roof. Instead of asking up for 6 companies for this job, as indicated by other reviews, we nailed it down to 2 companies only after extensive search. These 2 companies all have very good reviews to start with, and they came to look at our roof promptly and both came to the same conclusion that we needed a complete re-roofing. The project would replace the water-proofing felt layer and any broken tiles. Any water damaged or termite infested wood should be replaced also at pre-determined per foot price per category. These 2 companies bid were a little different. But ‘Above It All Roofing’ has a 10-year warranty, which my wife cares a lot. Then the sale person Dave made a big difference in the decision making. He was courteous and honest. We felt that could trust him. He worked hard to get our project and came to our house 2 times before we finally signed the contract with ‘Above It All Roofing’. Our project then was scheduled to start. The owner of the other company happened to know the owner of ‘Above It All Roofing’, Mike. Even after we notified him that we would go with ‘Above It All Roofing’, he still gave us good reference and blessing. So we felt good choosing the right company for our roof project. There were 5 people worked on our roof. They were nice and friendly, cleaned all debris at the end of the day before they left. Everything went smoothly. We were surprised that there was more wood damage than was expected earlier. Dave came here every day and showed us the damaged wood after it was replaced. We are happy with the work done and believe that an excellent review is what the company, their workers, and Dave deserve.

We recently had our roof done by Above it all Roofing. We had six bids before making a choice. Mike not only gave us a very competitive quote, he came by everyday to make sure the entire project (they was some replacement of wood) was being done correctly and in a timely manner. The team that showed up every morning were on time and very polite. They cleaned up everyday and were impressive on how quickly they worked. Again, I did my homework and we couldn't be more pleased with Mike and his crew.

We could not be more pleased with the service from Above It All Roofing. Not only did the team do a great job on installing my roof, they cleaned up every evening, and were very efficient with the overall job. Our project manager David Brunn was great to work with and always available. He coached us through the entire process from start to finish and was on the job site often (multiple times per day in some cases). We felt lucky to have Manuel be the foreman for our job. He and his crew were super friendly, watched out for our nesting baby birds, and did a fantastic job. A five man crew performed the job in three days to beat an incoming rain storm. They worked with my schedule and were very professional.

After researching I decided on Above it All and I'm glad I did. They were great to work with. They actually were able to start the job sooner than expected. Everything went well with no surprises. We have friends that used them and they were happy with them too.

Their work is top quality and their estimate includes everything except damaged wood. They don't bid low and then nickel and dime you with change orders. Their workers are friendly and clean up every day.

I discovered the problem after I took over the property during a rare rainy season. I called for 3 bids. the first company put me on a waiting list and never got back to me. the second company refused to come out because they were so busy. so here are the 4 A's and why you want to choose Above it all Roofing: AVAILABILITY: Dave returned my call within a day and came by to look the next day. the job was completed within 4 days. AFFABILITY: Dave grew up in Irvine, knows a lot of people, can provide a lot of references, and talks to you like a brother. ABILITY: great workmanship AFFORDABILITY: how much would you pay to sleep well at night? the same amount Dave charges.

Dave and his crew did a fine, high quality job on our roof refresh. Very attentive and hard working. Can highly recommend them.

I would highly recommend Above It All Roofing. They are licensed, bonded and insured. (You really don't want those "weekend" roofers working on your roof.) Like many Orange County home owners, we discovered a roof leak during the historical rains this winter. Other roofing companies promised for weeks to give us a bid but never showed up. David Brunn from Above It All Roofing showed up. He gave us a bid on 2/22. The work started on 3/13 and was completed on 3/19. The crew was great. They cleaned up every night and were very careful to find any nails in the yard. David came by several times to check on their progress. As David will tell you himself, Above It All isn't the least expensive roofing company but their work comes with a 10 year warranty. I can sleep at night knowing if we have any roof issues I can call Above It All Roofing. (Make sure you make a copy of contract agreement.)

I had a very pleasant experience with Above it All Roofing. Shortly after I called in, Dave Brunn came out to my house to create an estimate. He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Once I selected them to do the roof, they accurately estimated when they could begin the tile reset of my 30 year home and also accurately estimated the completion date. The area around our house was cleaned and picked up each day so there was really no inconvenience suffered during the repairs. The actually cost did exceed the estimate but that was due to a lot of dry rot which Dave had prepped me about so the extra cost was not unexpected. Since the tile reset repair has taken place, we have had a ton of rain and I sleep soundly knowing that I have no more leaks. Thank you Above it All Roofing!

I really needed someone to come out and walk me through the process. This company came out on time, they climbed up on the roof, and gave me a quote right then and there. I would definitely recommend them.

Above It All Roofing put on a new roof for me in December 2018. I would highly recommend this company. I was highly satisfied with them from start to finish. They gave me a timely bid, did everything as promised, notified me about dry rot, and kept my area clean every day when they finished working. David Brunn was great to work with. He provided proof of their Worker's Comp and General Liability Insurance, as they are fully licensed and insured. It was my first experience with putting a new roof on, and I will definitely use them again if the need arises.

We highly recommend Above It All Roofing without reservation! 5+ Stars all the way around! Above It All Roofing recently re-tiled the tile roof on our house and our garage. This is the second time that we have chosen Above It All Roofing to fulfill our roofing needs. We were extremely satisfied after the first roofing job they installed for us a few years ago, which was on a flat roof with difficult drainage issues. They did an outstanding job and provided ideas and solutions we had not thought of, and the roof is still serving us well. After having to have our house tented for termites, many tiles were discovered to be broken. We called Above It All Roofing once again, and Dave, the Project Manager who had represented the company before, came out and spent time with us to assess the situation and answer our questions. We had been told by the termite company that 19 tiles were broken. Manny and his team came soon after to replace the broken tiles. However, when they got up on the roof and could see the whole picture, there were actually 32 tiles broken and places where the material lining underneath the tiles had torn through. Considering that the roof was the original roof from more than 40 years ago, and after discussing several options with Dave, Dave suggested that we not totally re-roof with all new tiles, but instead re-tile with our existing tiles that were in good shape, and install new ones where needed, with all new liner paper. And, that is what we elected to do. We appreciated Dave’s expertise and problem-solving abilities, as well as his care of us in understanding our needs and concerns and spending the time with us to make sure we understood and were clear on options. Dave was so patient and kind in seeing us through the processes and in answering my questions as we went along. He is a fine, integrous man with whom it is a pleasure to work. As to the actual job, Manny and his team worked so very hard for 6 days, even on Christmas Eve day, to make sure our job was completed as quickly as possible. They reported on time, worked efficiently all day, and then cleaned up completely at the end of each day. Moreover, Manny and the “boys” have great skill and expertise and are perfectionists. They did a beautiful job! On top of that, they are kind and gracious people, and it was a pleasure to have them at our home. They made what could have been a stressful experience one that was reassuring and comforting because of who they are as craftsmen and as people. My sister and I inherited our parents house and needed a new roof. I called "Above It All Roofing" for an estimate and they came out the next day. The day the work started they came on time and got started right away but had a problem when the first inspector came but the work was approved to proceed and was finished in just 2 days. We have 2 patio/walkway covers on the sides of the house to keep us out of the rain that our father built that are "not legal" per city codes so that holds up the final inspection on the roof (so be aware of this if you have any UN-permitted structures around your house) until I have them torn down and either left without cover or replace them with something permitted (which is harder to get done with the stupid city codes). The owner mike called me personally to see if there was anything he could do. This tells me Above it All Roofing was the right company to choose because they care about the customers needs before, during and after the job is done. If I had another roof I would defiantly call them again.

I interviewed 12 roofing contractors before deciding on Above it All Roofing. I am very satisfied with this choice that most represented my needs for quality, and price. Most of the companies I interviewed were contractors who did remodeling of homes and rooms. Above it All specializes in roofs. That's what I wanted.. More than that - they gave me a very very competitive estimate. The more I researched , including their reviews, the more I leaned toward doing this project with them. On the job, their crew showed up early each day, and were very experienced - each one of them, friendly and appreciative of observation. Dave suggested - and I appreciated - putting 2x8 fascia around the house - which made it look quite spiffy. Their guarantee was 10 years which was equal to any other estimate. I am very happy with the result - my roof looks great - but more, I'm happy with the quality and know that we're safe from leaks for a L-O-N-G long time. It rains in San Clemente quite heavily, so I 've got peace of mind.. A truly great job. ***** I plan to recommend this company to all my friends and family.
