Initial estimate by Jay was great. He was able to schedule a convenient time for me that was fairly quick from when I first called. The crew arrived on time each day and completely cleaned up the yard each afternoon. The project went a bit longer than expected -- we had quite a bit of termite damage so Jay and his crew took the extra time to ensure all of the damaged wood was replaced. They ran into an issue with putting back up my gutters so they brought in a separate gutter company who redid my gutters for me at no extra charge.

The job went very well. They were flexible enough to move the start date to accommodate the weather and the keep the job on track. The demolition crew did a fantastic job of cleaning up everyday after work. Above it All replaced all the wood that showed signs of dry rot and repaired all of the fascia. David (Project Manager) and Alex (Foreman) made this experience very pleasant. Their professionalism was a "breath of fresh air" in today's ultra-competitive world of home improvement contacting. I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors and friends (which I have already done).

AIAR replaced three layers of old shingles with a new composite shingle roof. The job included replacing the underlayment, some facia boards, decking, and shiplap. They did an outstanding, professional job from removal of the old roof, rain gutters and downspouts to installation of new components wherever required. The crew arrived on time, was very competent, maintained a clean and orderly workplace, and was very nonintrusive. The entire job was finished in two days, which was only half of the time allowed for completion. Basically, no complaints.

David Brunn was our contact at Above It All Roofing. Very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He addressed our concerns and dealt with our requests. Alejandro (Alex) was the job site foreman. He and his men did efficient, quality work. This work was done on a home built in 1953 and required a lot of repairs before the paper went down. The city inspector commented on what a first-rate job they were doing. The tear-off crew was fast and neat. The entire job took three days and all went very smoothly.

David Brunn was our contact at Above It All Roofing. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He addressed our concerns and dealt with our requests. We were scheduled to begin work on this house in a few days when I changed my mind on the materials to be used. I picked a shingle that was a special order from back East and would take a couple of weeks to be shipped to our site. No problem for Dave. Excellent customer satisfaction was his priority. Job was rescheduled with no complaints or pressure. Helio was the job site foreman. He and his men did efficient, quality work. This work was done on a home built in 1964 and required a lot of repairs before the paper went down. The house originally had no fascia. After installing, this brought the roof line down, making the front of the house look out of scale. Even though Helio and his men were under pressure to complete repairs on the roof so that the inspector could sign off and paper could be applied, Helio immediately agreed that it didn't look right. They removed the fascia, cut back the rafters and raised the roof line about one foot. Looked much better. This was the second house that I had Above It All Roofing replace within a few weeks. The first one was on a rental that I plan on keeping long term and this was on my home. Very happy with the results on both. All wood was supplied by a reputable lumber yard. Bring on the rain.

The contractor, Scott, was very honest and took pictures to show where the damage was on the roof. They came out here did the work and got done earlier than they said they would. They did an excellent job.

Jay from Above it All Roofing was always punctual. showed up on time to inspect the roof, he educated me on the different options available and explain the process for each. an estimate was delivered the next day and as soon as I was ready to start the work, he had his guys here on time. They showed up for demo and cleaned after they were done. delivery of material was organized and they were careful around my solar panels, infact the complete crew was careful around the panels. The work performed was perfect, from the removal of damaged wood, to replacement with the correct wood choice, to the two layers of asphalt that were installed. They made sure they had all the correct parts for the work, I have a circular chimney style pipe in the middle, which required special flashing, they made sure it was right and then they painted sealed all around it, which was perfect. I recommend this company due to their reasonable price compared to others I got estimates from and the quality of work as well as timelines.

What an amazing experience from beginning to end! Made contact with Above it All Roofing and a couple days later met with Jay to walk through the work to be completed. Jay was very helpful in going through the needed work and any other items that I had a concern for. I received their estimate promptly that evening and scheduled a date for the work. Jay and his foreman Alex (great guy) arrived right on time and we all walked through the project. As Alex and his team started the work we found an unexpected surprise under our cheap tile ... two layers of old wood shake roofing materials. UGH. Who does that? Also there is no roof sheeting, its all ship-lap which now explains why my house is so hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Anyways I digress. Alex also fixed up a few minor items he found that I wasn't aware of and didn't charge me for it!!! After speaking with Alex and Jay they saw no need to re-roof at this point. Since it wasn't leaking, we could wait on a full re-roof for the future. WHEW!! I appreciate the honesty and not trying to push work that was not required. At the end of each day, they would do a full cleanup, which is much appreciated! Overall I would HIGHLY recommend Above it All Roofing and will be definitely calling them back when I'm ready to re-tile my house in the next couple years. Being a retired shop teacher, I try to do most home repairs myself and am very critical of work done on my property by others. Roofing, though, is a lot of work and needs a skilled team of people?tearoff, carpenters, metalworking, and shingle layers. After getting some quotes ($2-3K more) from the big box stores, who spec?d things like expensive full width ridge vents, it was a pleasure to talk to Jay Gioia, who was straightforward and laid out the options. The only wild card with roofing is how much termite damage was done to lumber and plywood requiring replacement, but the All Above rate per foot was much lower than others. The job was scheduled quickly with frequent email progress reports and coordination with city inspectors. It was obvious he enjoyed working for his company and through his actions, upheld its reputation for high quality work. I had my teenage son with me while talking with Jay, and was very pleased that he saw a competent, polite, and skilled contractor as a role model?such was not the case in the past with other tradespeople. The result was a great looking roof for a very fair price, along with some pride of workmanship details, like trimming the starter edge strip flush with the facia that really made the job look first rate. Above It All will be at the top of my referral list for my neighbors.

Did a good job, cleaned up nicely. Said it would take two days, but it took another half day, which was okay. Price wasn't the cheapest, but right in the middle. They were quick to schedule, where another company put me off time and time again. Very pleased with how it turned out.

Jay was our main contact from Above it All and he did a fantastic job from start to finish. The day his estimate was scheduled there was a light rain that began to fall just as he was to inspect our skylights. He got up on the roof and did the appropriate check in spite of the weather and gave us a very reasonable estimate compared to other competitors. He remained in contact with us via email and phone in a timely fashion and gave us an appropriate time table on when the job could be completed. On the day of the install his team worked quickly and efficiently and Jay came by later in the day to give his own inspection. Very professional and friendly throughout the process. Would go with Above it All Roofing again the future and would recommend to anyone.

Above it All roofing came by on time for an estimate. I was very surprised they were willing to come out on the day after Christmas. Very courteous, prompt, and explained the cost. It was about twice as much as I was quoted from other roofers in my area so I went with another company.

When we had new insulation installed, one of the workers suggested that the skylight might not be installed correctly. Contacted Above It All Roofing to check. They came out and checked that skylight was done correctly, and even explained how it could be viewed as incorrectly installed. They were very professional and even gave us a follow up call.

The company was very helpful and work was done well. I needed the work done quickly since the leak from the roof was causing extensive water leak into the kitchen. The company came on a Saturday morning and did the repair. The work was through and quick. They finished in couple of hours and cleaned up the area. I was impressed by how well the work was done and how they took care of cleaning up the place once they were done. I had in addition to the leak many broken tile which they replaced. I would highly recommend this place for their professionalism. I do have mention that i did get a quote from another company that was cheaper. It did not seem like the work was exactly the same. I went with this company primarily because of the reviews I have read on Angie's list despite the cost to be higher. I think the higher cost was for the more extensive repair work done. After March there has been several raining days and i have to say the roof passed with flying colors. This is a repair well done. I would use them again and I think you should all consider them.

After the last big rainstorm this year, I'd had enough of our old roof. Angie's list provided a top notch company. I was impressed by the hundreds of good reviews and called for a quote. Jay came out the next day and measured. He gave me a quote right on the spot for a composition roof and then said he would call the next day with a quote for lightweight concrete roof which he said would enhance the look of our home. I live on a street that I didn't want to drop the property values by having a premium asphalt roof installed but I thought I couldn't afford anything better than a composition roof. When Jay provided the quote for the lightweight concrete tile, it was less than the composition roof. I was surprised that I could get a premium quality concrete tile roof for less than the premium composition roof. I was sold. I had a few items I wanted in the contract and Jay put them in. I signed the contract electronically and Jay pulled the building permits the following day. The work started the next week with the tear off of the old roof. Three layers of old roof. It took the hard working tear-off crew 3 days to get it all off. Two layers of wood shingles and one layer of composition shingles. Then they had to put full sheathing over the roof and repair damaged wood everywhere. The roof was a big one at about 90 squares (9,000 square feet). The men worked a solid two weeks to complete the job. What a fantastic result. I was concerned about how the new concrete tile roof would look when compared to the richness of the old heavy shake roof. I was in for a surprise. The new roof has greatly enhanced the look of our home. It looks rich and expensive. The value of the house just went up. The neighborhood values have increased. The men cleaned up daily after themselves and when the job was completed, they had an extra man come out just to make sure the yards were clean and no small debris was missed. They were great and I was thoroughly impressed. I heartily recommend Above It All Roofing, Inc.

Above it all Roofing did a wonderful job on our roof. We had them seal off the roof above our garage previously and didn't hesitate to have them back when we needed to do the roof over the house. The were professional and their work was wonderful.

I knew on the first day of the roofing job that I had been correct in my choice when the president of the company, Mike Allen, and one of his product specialists, Dave Brunn, showed up early ( 7:30) even before the demo crew. I had concerns about the dust and debris falling from the roof into a family room space which had high ceilings and no attic space and would be open to the effects of the crew working above. Mike and Dave spent an hour carefully laying plastic sheeting throughout the family room area, covering all the furniture and setting curtains to act as a barrier to dust going into other parts of the house. I was impressed by their thoroughness and concern. It was a great touch especially when you don't expect the president of the company to be so closely involved in small details and I had high hopes for all aspects of the job. The roof removal crew worked fast and with six hours had the old roof off and the area ready for the installers. The demo crew had placed tarps over the plants and spent time afterwards cleaning up the area and getting it ready for the next day's work. The installers, supervised by Alex Leon, were great and always took time to tell me what was going on and to show me up close what they were doing at all times. I did have some wood which needed to be replaced but it was not a lot and Alex gave me a good price for it's replacement. Every roofing job has it's unexpected problems and my chimney proved to be one. But Alex was patient and thorough and spent at least six hours working on getting new flashing made up and fitting correctly and sealed so no problems would arise. The work was sharp and professional and Alex had the chimney looking very good and I'm confident it will be watertight. The crew putting up the shingles, led by Alex's brother, Eduardo, worked fast and the new roof proved to be everything we hoped it would be. It looks great and we're very happy with it. They spent extra time painting all the flashing metal to my satisfaction and even did a little extra painting where the stucco met the flashing. Very nice. Also, at the end of each work day they would clean the area and never seemed hurried to get off the roof and get home without first cleaning up. By the fifth day the roof was done and there had been no surprises, mistakes or other annoyances to make me regret my decision to go with this company. I would highly recommend Above It All Roofing to anyone. This is a great company

David Brunn was fantastic. He investigated the mystery of how some of my roof tiles piled up on my roof. He found no damage and simply moved the tiles back to their correct position. He just as easily could have told me repairs were needed but chose instead to be an honest representative. I will definitely recommend this company and in particular David Brunn!

Jay did a huge skylight for us 4 years ago. A few tiles slipped and theres a leak near the skylight. He came out to look. Made an appointment for a few days later. He and his worked arrived at exactly the appointed time. Done all the fixes. And no charge. Amazing. The goodwill jay build for this company is out of this solar system. I'll definitely use them for reroof in the near future. Thanks Jay.

I called and talked to David Brunn for an experienced roofers opinion about the condition of the roof on a house we were buying. We were concerned that the type of roof on the house had some negative reviews and we wanted to make sure that there were no current issues. David came out and inspected and assured us that the roof is in great shape! David was very responsive as we had called on a Sunday to schedule an inspection and we got a return call within 30min. He is very knowledgeable and thorough and we were very pleased with his assessment. We offered to pay for the approx. 1hr inspection but he declined...Amazing!!

Very professional staff from owner to workers. Job was done on time and on schedule with excellent cleanup. The job cost more than anticipated but the bid was clearly written with respect to additional charges if wood rot/termite damage was found. Note that the roof was over 30 years old. Dave provided details on what they found after the roof was removed and what needed to be replaced and why. Thanks for a job well done!

His manner and professionalism gave me confidence that the work would be done well. All of the work was done in one day, and was very thorough, including cleanup. Jay was extremely friendly, efficient and honest to work with. His pricing was fair and he did not try to upsell us in anyway. Jay took care of everything - we didn't even need to find paint to match the new fascia boards. He had sourced it and brought it to the job himself, even left us some extra for the future. We were extremely satisfied and happy with Jay and his team. Polite people who do an amazing job for a fair price.
