This review is about a trailer hitch I had installed in my Subaru Forester. Great price for a hitch, much better than the dealers! About $300. At least it seemed like a great deal...until time passed. Background: I had the original hitch installed in June 2012. I used the hitch maybe 3 times total. In June 2014, the wiring had gone out. Luckily I had the warranty and time to do it, so they replaced the wiring under warranty. Cost to me $0. But the idiot that did it, did not know how to raise the hood of the car and put the hood prop (long metal thing that goes from the engine to the hood to hold it open) in the wrong hole. As a result, it got stuck. They wrestled with it and eventually got it out. In addition, a few days later, I noticed when I opened the back of my car, there were some screws there. The installer had left the screws off my rear left light when he had connected the wiring!I t wasn't until about a month later after a car wash that I noticed that their wrestling with the hood prop had put a small ding in the hood from the inside. Too late to go back to complain. Now here in 2015, the paint is starting to peel there. (Cost to me, a repaint at some point!) Now today, I reserved a trailer, went to pick it up, and as they checked the wiring, once again, the wiring is out!!! Cost to repair it now that there is no warranty was about $180. This is RIDICULOUS when its been just a little over a year since they replaced it last! I asked why in this short of a time could someone explain why it was out! This is a terrible RELIABILITY and QUALITY problem. Now this car is not out in the elements much. It sits in the garage, dry, clean, and only has about 6k miles/year put on it. So not a heavy use, exposure to elements, dirt, sea salt, ... to explain the wiring going out. The UHaul technician told me today that the last installer put the wires close to the exhaust and that may explain why it went out so quick. He said he could fix it in about 20 mins. However, at $180, I decided against it. I know in the future, there are few trailer rental companies to use, but my load will have to be an absolute necessity as it appears it will cost me at least $180 each time! Or my other less expensive option is to go to good old Home Depot and rent their truck for $19.99 plus mileage for the day!!
Description of Work: Trailer hitch install and repair. Original install ~$300, repair $180.

They keep the boxes outside but didn’t do the covers correctly and it rained which is unusual around here. They finally got it all set and put together and they did give me a half credit which was nice but did take a little while. Very nice people just a little unorganized and it cost me a few hours of moving time.
Description of Work: I’m their U-Box which is smaller than their 800 pod. I picked it up and you load it yourself and bring it back yourself and then they ship it cross country. They are storing it for a month and then shipping it.
