Description of Work: We had Jerry's Tree Service trim 3 old sycamores which had grown too close to our home and our neighbor's home. We also had them cut back an overgrown podocarpus hedge. They were prompt, professional, did a great job and cleaned up after the job was done.

+ -1 moreOverall, all of Jerry's workers were very professional - they were prompt, professional, respectful of my property as well as my neighbors, and cleaned everything up - you couldn't even tell there was a tree there after they left. I will definitely use Jerry's again in the future - I do believe that you get what you pay for and although Jerry's wasn't the cheapest, they did a great job and I had no worries during the process.
Description of Work: Jerry's Tree Service took out 2 trees on my property - one was a very large Japanese Elm Tree. They also trimmed and cut other trees around the property.

+ -1 moreJerry did a great job. I have compared Jerry and Harper Tree Service at that time and I think they both do great work. I've done price comparison and found Lyle to be more competitive lately, so I've used Harper more recently. I think they both do good work.
Description of Work: Jerry pruned a lot of trees on our back hill, which contain 9 oaks and need to be pruned very specifically (and according to regulations). He also "reinforced" an oak using a cable and cement block so it would not collapse down the hill.

+ -1 moreWe used Jerry's Tree Service for the first time in Jan. 2005 to do some emergency trimming to a large Eucalyptus tree after a storm. We used them now to trim / prune every tree on our property. They came by for an estimate a few days after we first called. They gave us the $3500 estimate and we agreed on a date and time for the work. They arrived within minutes of the 8 AM planned start time with multiple trucks and about 8 workers. They worked most of the day. They moved potted plants, outdoor tables, and other items to protect them from the work. Everything was well cleaned up. The trees are well pruned - not hacked or top cut. We will definitely continue to use them.
Description of Work: We had approximately 20 trees (various Eucalyptus, Chinese Elm, Olive, and others) trimmed and one medium sized Chinese Elm removed. Most of our trees are mature and several are 3 – 4 stories tall. One was on a steep hill side. Several were overhanging trees from a neighbor’s lot. All cuttings were hauled away.

Description of Work: I called about having a small stump and 2 trees (under 8' high) removed--a small job. But I learned that the minimum charge for Jerry's is $400. They were very straightforward about this, and I have no criticism--just adding some information.

Description of Work: They did work on 2 1/2 acres of land and had many men come out and trimmed trees. They had a lot of trimming and work to do.
