Filipe Colon was on time, and was very presentable and personable. He was helpful as he unpacked the new cabinet, removed the old one, and looked at ways to install the new one. He discovered difficulties with installing a new recessed cabinet due to issues inside the wall. He brainstormed ways to get around the problems, and ultimately decided it was not possible. He insisted on doing a quality job and anything less would be a workaround, not acceptable. Filipe helped me pack up the new cabinet and carried it to my car so I could return it. He reinstalled the old cabinet. We discussed what I kind of cabinet I should buy, where I should buy it, and the correct size to buy. We discussed making a new date to install a new "wall mounted" style cabinet once I find one to purchase. Filipe is very knowledgeable and seems sincere and willing to do a good job for me. I'll write more when we finally get the job done. In the meantime he refused to bill me for the hour and a half we spent together working on the problem.

Excellent results! Felipe and his team provided professional advice and guidance regarding the types of finishes. Workers are extremely courteous, professional, and arrive on time. I have specific end-of-day work times and they ALWAYS respect it; on the occasion where they finish some work and will go past my end time, they ALWAYS asked me permission prior to doing so. That is extremely professional and I appreciated it a lot. They cleaned up daily and when the job was done, they made sure to cleanup any spots of paint that had fallen on my tiles and around the general area. This was important to me because the first time I had my house painted, the contractor had all sorts of trim-color paint drops all over my tiles and he was just going to leave them there! I had a new roof installed earlier in the year and the satellite and internet cables around the house were no longer secured to the roof. Felipe's team made sure to snugly re-secure the cables and paint them with the appropriate color to match them against the house so they are not visible from afar. Great job and I will be using them again for my interior painting.

It went well and while the work was expected to take 7-8 days, it was completed ahead of schedule. Felipe explained in detail what needed to be done, which is not well described above. The garage wall repair involved bracing the ceiling and removing a section of the wall which had sustained water and termite damage. The existing stucco was also removed. The wall was rebuilt (without an unneeded window) and the stucco redone and repainted. Then, they worked on the gas and water lines. Rather than simply securing them externally, we agreed that for safety to reroute the lines underground to bring them to current code. In both cases a trench was dug and new supply lines were installed. They took the excess dirt from the trenching to level a section of the yard. They demolished a wooden shed and hauled away the old material and painted the stucco of the adjacent building to blend in the with current color. The painting was done and cracks in the stucco were addressed. I have worked with Felipe before and have been extremely satisfied with the workmanship and the advice given to make the work last. Lastly, there was an issue not directly related to the work done, some wires that were exposed and live that they helped with (one of the crew stopped by to check), even though I found it a few days after they had finished. It is clear Felipe and the people he works with care about the people they do work for and take pride in the work they do.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! First and foremost, I had an idea of what I wanted done, but needed professional advice and suggestions for additional options. Felipe covered all of that! He was patient with me, listened and understood what I wanted, provided me pictures and online site references where I was able to further finalize on my concept for the trims. Nevertheless, I was still nervous as to how it would all look so I asked him to start the project with one window. He was very accommodating to do this; I know it might seem obvious to do, but another contractor refused to do this and had told me that he needed to order all the materials for all the doors and windows at once! How crazy! Needless to say, after that one-window sample, we did some fine-tuning to the concept to come a final design with which I was completely and truly happy. Felipe is extremely courteous and responsive. From the initial contact to the end of the project, communication was never an issue. I value this tremendously; for example, things happen in everyone's lives and if there's a change in schedule for whatever reason, he let me know. Bottom line is that he keeps you updated and you will not have any surprises. Except the good ones. :) Again, with his experience, he was able to suggest and add some extras into my concept that I hadn't thought about whatsoever. It was simple, yet very impactful to the end result; however, Felipe did not let it affect the contract. Fan-tas-tic! Felipe and his crew are extremely professional and courteous. The job finished one week sooner than I thought it would; even my neighbor commented on the efficiency and speed of the crew. And, Felipe joked to me about it, but, yes, his crew speaks English so there also no communication issues when communicating to the team. Without a doubt I clearly recommend him and I will definitely be using him for my upcoming interior projects.

Felipe and his crew did a wonderful job. Instead of four days, they finished in two. We very professional and cordial the whole time. They did excellent work.

They never called me back. I called last Thursday and am still waiting for a call back

I have been using him for about 15 years. Felipe is fair and extremely good at what he does and is a perfectionist at doing it. He always does a great job of cleaning up after himself everyday.

Felipe and his team arrived on time and worked diligently each day, completing the job perfectly. Felipe addressed all of my questions and concerns, solving them with ease. Having used other individuals and companies over the 40+ years of living in my home, no one has ever paid as much attention to detail and craftsmanship. This is one telephone number to keep on speed dial!

In a word, great. Felipe was scheduled to do the work in three days but came out a fourth day because he wasn't totally happy with how they looked and spent a whole extra day finishing and perfecting the work. He is a perfectionist and his pride in his work shows through. He was also enjoyable person and personable and just nice to work with. By the way, the windows now look like new!

Reached out to him about removing a window and patching it up. Sent over a contract and was asking more than 10 percent. By law and for protection no contractor should ask you more than 10 percent which is what I was comfortable giving but he wanted more. The day before our scheduked apt he cancels because I wouldn't give him all the money for the material. I'f you can't come up with the money to get material with only 10 percent than you shouldnt be doing business. Be cautious with this guy. Seems very fishy that someone would ask for more than 10 percent. Notifying me the day before our apt is very unprofessional. Please be cautious with this individual and the way you do business with him UPDATE: 1st Customer was difficult? Really? Why, because I wouldn’t give him more than 10%. According to the Contractors state licensing board, you are not supposed to pay more than 10% and you are NOT supposed to pay for the cost of material up front which is what this guy was asking for. Per the contractors state licensing board “Consumers also should be aware that their contractor cannot “front load” the contract by asking for project funds in advance. That means a person should never pay for work before it is completed, or for materials before they are delivered to the property. Make sure the written contract contains a progress payment schedule that outlines project phases, with all costs and estimated completion dates”. 2nd- I called him because he was close by. I never hired him before and therefore don’t know the quality of his work. This guy is trying to toot his own horn. This review was strictly based on the way he handle this transaction from a professional and business aspect. 3rd- He didn’t request to cancel. As you can see in the text messages I attached, I said I would pay him 100% when job was completed then I said if you want 10% I can give you 10% but he agreed to be paid once the job was completed. The day before the project was to start he text and said he needs 100% of material cost up front and the job would have to start the following week. I said NO and I want to cancel the contract. See attached text messages. This guy is a straight up LIAR but what can you expect from a person that is NOT licensed. 4th- On Thursday evening I text him to cancel and I’ll hire someone else, He said “ok understandable” (see text messages below). At this point the conversation was over and dead. He then proceeded to text me at 6:30 am the following morning to tell me “The great thing about Angies list is that we can respond and complain about difficult customers”. (see attached text) Was this text really necessary? Was this unprofessional? Was this guy bitter about his negative review? I THINK SO. Please beware of this guy and you handle your business with him. He comes off really shady and unprofessional. And please, please, please don’t ever pay anyone more than 10% of the job. Protect yourself and know what your rights are. Don’t do business with people like this. You will regret it later.

Work went well. He was also able to patch up a few gaps in the floor around the area as well. Previous plumber left odd shaped hole in the drywall behind my washer and driver. Felipe was able to patch it up nicely. Clean and professional. I had to reschedule the day before the job would begin and he was flexible. We were able to reschedule and he didn't charge me extra.

Called and left a message and sent a message still no reply 3 days later.

Every step along the way, Felipe was the go-to guy. He brought in a really excellent "crew" of craftsmen, kept to his budget and to the schedule. He coordinated his work well with our longtime plumber when it came to replacing galvanized pipe for new copper fittings. When everything was completed, Felipe made sure the site was completely clean. He was easy to work with, easy to connect to and brought along a pretty good sized smile, as well. (He was also really nice to our dog)

The quality of the work was amazing. I am very happy to have found Felipe. He is responsive, professional & his prices are fair. Highly recommended.

Felipe knocked it out of the park again. He found the problem when our initial plumbers had their heads up their #@$%s. Worked on-time, asked our inspection of every aspect, did an immaculate job of tile, and was extremely clean and thorough. Even suggested that we do the job in two stages so we could determine the extent of any damage prior to just jumpingds in like a steer in a china shop. The final paint job looked like nothing was ever wrong. Love the guy and will recommend him to friends and acquaintances. Go Army!

Felipe is a real pro from start to finish. We narrowed the focus on the simpler repairs but ended up broadening out what needed to be done because of his keen eye for what SHOULD be done. He walked us through our next and much larger project with sources, contacts, how to do as much without paying lots more. All in all, a quality guy and company.

Perfectly. I sent a task description to Felipe and to one other A-rated handyman. The other guy never got back to me, but Felipe responded in less than a day, saying he was booked through a specific day (about a month away). I asked if he could schedule the job for the next day after that. We had a couple of email exchanges between with details on my side and schedule confirmations from Felipe. We mutually agreed to delay till two days later because of rainstorms. // Felipe showed up as promised at 10 am with his quiet but intelligent son (about 13 yrs. old) and they got to work, at first in clean space in my garage, and then at the front door. He finished in a little over two hours, including lock installation. While I am not a carpenter, I am moderately handy and appreciate a knowledgeable, quality job when I see one, and that's what Felipe provided. So I asked him if he ever does minor work on roof gutters. I explained where our gutters, only 5 years old, appeared to not be level any more. (My gardener had looked and they were not filled with debris.) Almost before I knew it, he was up on my ladder and on the roof. Not only did he diagnose the problem--a small amount of debris beyond the end of a short gutter run was causing the problem--he removed the debris, cleared another spot, and got down as the water poured down and out as it was supposed to! He would not accept a bonus or tip for this service; I paid exactly what he had quoted on my first call a month before. It is now a couple of weeks later, the door still works fine and the locks on it work fine. I would hire Felipe again in a minute.

We have an older house with plaster walls, and have a bunch of cracks in the ceiling and walls from just life in California. Felipe floated the walls and made them look BRAND NEW and pristine. I didn't think it would make such a big difference, but it feels like a brand new house. The walls are smooth and clean. Felipe was super professional, his team was polite and respectful (i.e. asked to use the restroom and did a thorough job covering the floors and other areas in the work area).

Felipe fixed the bathroom sink that we'd installed ourselves. For some reason we weren't getting hot water, so he troubleshot the faucet, figured out that we needed a new one, and replaced it. He gave us clear directions on what type of faucet to buy to keep the cost of swapping it out down, and referred us to a good plumbing supply place. He is amazing - I don't even worry about being home when he's working - super trustworthy, and I will keep calling him when I need help!

Felipe showed up (with helper, his son) to do the job. He did a wonderful job, worked tirelessly, and kept in constant contact with me to show the damage he removed, and the progress of their work thus far. They finished the job sooner than expected (started around 9a, done around 4p), and we are very pleased with the outcome. We will definitely be using him again for other projects (big and small), and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Came ASAP, was able to replace the leaky pipe and all was up and running in no time.

The master bathroom came out exceptionally! Detail was done in every aspect of the project. I got everything i expected and more. The quality was pristine and the price was right! Could not have found a better experience. The professionalism and safety of my home was very important to me. He met all expectations.

Amazing! This is the second major time I've hired Felipe - not counting the small things I call him for in between. He gives great recommendations and will help you to plan out the best kitchen possible. He's clear with his pricing, easy to talk to, and does amazing work. My kitchen is beautiful, and most-importantly, I trust him in my home with my pets when I'm not around.

He did all the work with care and precision. He was on time and easy to work with. I would definitely us Felipe again.
