A Pete's Concrete

Workers arrived on time each day, work progressed well, and the finished product is beautiful! We were well pleased with their work.

No problems. Guys came out to start 2 days after I got estimate. Took about 2 days since demo was already done and thus no surprises. Used rebar. the curved forms for the steps came out like we wanted. It has been about a month and we are very happy with the work. Pete was there for all the work which is a big help.

It went very well. Pete and his crew were on time and completed all work on schedule. We are very happy with our new patio and are already talking to Pete about replacing our driveway. Also, I have recommended his company to two of my neighbors. I will definitely use him again.

This job was done in conjunction with the concrete job and our sod job, so while a group of guys was working on the concrete project, another group came through to start on the dog run. They started with the base using with cement blocks to build frame,installed the poles where the chain-link fence would be placed, and filled the blocks with concrete and left them to dry. A few days later they came back and completed the run.They installed the chain-link fence and the door and made sure everything was working properly. It looks great and it’s high enough that the dogs can’t get out and they still have plenty of room to move around in and relax when they’re in there.The crew worked extremely h****** this project and was very thorough. They were prompt, courteous, and very clean. We are very, very happy with Pita’s work on the dog run and I would definitely recommend Pita and his crew for your home projects.

Pita immediately booked the dumpsters, ordered the sod and the following Monday arrived at my house ready to go with his crew. Again they arrived bright and early and again they hustled, digging out the existing yard and leveling it all out, preparing it for the installation the next day.The next day the crew went over the dirt again, spread the top soil, and laid down the sod. Once set they watered it, cleaned up and even power-washed our patio so there was no trace of dirt—a very nice bonus! The crew was very prompt, reliable, conscientious, and once again they helped our trash collectors in lifting the heavier bins that they otherwise would not have been able to lift (weight limit). We would like to thank Pita and his team for all of the hard work they did on our home. We are very pleased with how it all looks and are very excited to make the most of our new yard.

Pita was the first one who actually seemed to want to help. He called back right away, came out to quote, came in at a VERY fair price, and was able to start work almost immediately. He showed me his portfolio with photos of other jobs he had done. Very nice work and you can tell he takes pride in it. We were impressed at how much they hustled. They were very thorough and very fast. They dug out the existing grass and dirt from the areas to be filled with concrete in a day?s time. When they left for the day, they made sure to clean up after themselves. The concrete part was completed in about half a day and it looked great. They completed the areas that needed to be filled pretty quickly and smoothed it all out to perfection.The crew was very courteous, thorough, hardworking, and clean. We are very, very happy with Pita?s work on the concrete and I would definitely recommend Pita and his crew for your concrete/cement needs.

We have three complaints about this contractor. 1. He did not reveal the need to seal and border the pavers used for our driveway in his initial bid. As soon as he finished the installation, he told us that we should seal the pavers at a cost of $350.00. He assured us that would bring out the full coloration of the pavers and preserve their looks. We were disappointed with the dull look of the pavers and agreed to pay the additional cost. When the scheduled day for the sealing arrived he added that some additional caulking was required at a cost of $100.00. I was not present, and my partner reluctantly agreed to the additional fee. She provided him a check for $450.00. I believe that this work should have been included in the original bid either as part of the project cost or as optional items. I believe bringing this up after the contracted project was complete was unprofessional and suspect. 2. He made unwanted and inappropriate advances toward my partner that upset her greatly. A professional contractor would never take such a course with a client. We treated Pete with respect and courtesy during this project. He did not return the favor. 3. He did not miter the corners of the retraining wall caps. I had to ask him why he failed to do this and received no response. I personally went to the block supplier and purchased more blocks. Pete mitered the corners at no additional cost. my out of pocket cost for the extra blocks and mortar was $50.00. None of this would have been necessary if he had done the job correctly in the beginning.

Peter and crew did an excellent job. They built a 25'x5' wall and poured a walkway (with grade for runoff water) in two days. The crew doesn't mess around; they come to work and are always hustling. We look forward to hiring them again for other projects.

i like Pita because he comes on time, does the estimate himself and then does the work himself. No surprises, no changes, not alot of talk, just everything done in the time he said it would take. He poured a small concrete patio for our house and it was done just as we asked. It turned out great

I had a terrible ficus tree that was destroying my driveway. Pete took down the tree, grounded out the stump and roots and replaced about a 1000 sq ft of concrete driveway. He came on time to do estimate. He was the one doing the work, with a few assistants and all went as scheduled. the job took about a week so I think considering the price of 2 loads to the dump for the tree, a special machine for the stump removal that the price was very fair The driveway looks new and he did it exactly as he said he would, on time, no extra charges or surprises.

Peter did a decent job with the situation. He did it in a few hours, so he worked efficiently. The work did not need super precise finish work, so I cannot comment on whether he has a higher level of craft.

It wasn't extremely impressed probably because I don't hear very well and he doesn't talk real clear. We had a talk for probably 30minutes but after I met him I kind of change my opinion. He seemed like somebody I would consider doing business with but it was higher than McClarie. He was a little late but there's a weekend and Monday he add me to the bid and followed me up on a phone call. He was responsive.

Pete is very easy to work with. Showed him the site and a drawing of what we needed done. He assured us all work will be to code. He was punctual and completed the work on time. The job was completed exactly as the drawing plans. I would use Pete and recommend Pete for futre jobs.

Was excited to get the small pad of concrete poured so I called the company to make arrangements. I was treated to a employee that was rude and very unhelpful... basically said I don't know about any deal in Angie's List and by the way, I have know time for such a little job right now... Ok Thanks! Nice doing busy with you! Refund Please!!!

Main water line under concrete walkway sprung a leak requiring removal of concrete to reach water line for repair. Pete cut and jackhammered section then poured new walkway. He did this in a timely manner and was pleasant to work with.

I recently had my driveway and walkway completely redone by Pete's Concrete. Peter did an excellent job for me. The driveway and walkway both look great. He had it done in a short time. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs any concrete work done.

I wasn't feeling that great, and went for a verbal and hand shake agreement. However, if you want to use the supplied discount coupon on his website for 10% off work, you need an itemized contract, otherwise, there is no way to track how much the discount should be. It will also protect the price. What was $700., went to $750 when he asked me if I wanted rebar, and to $800 minus a $20 discount when h was done.

He showed up promptly and did a good job. Will be having him come back soon to do concrete pilasters with stone facade as well as a BBQ surround in stone to match the house.

They were pretty good. They done it very clean. They cleaned up themselves. They gave discount within our range again. The price was pretty good. He was real professional. They did an excellent job. I would use them again.

Pete did a very nice job with a multiple slab pour-in-place concrete walkway totaling over 60 feet. I provided detailed dimensions which he matched accurately and beautifully. He was punctual, professional, and responsive to my questions and concerns. I would use Pete again for future concrete work and would recommend him to others.

As expected. He showed up on time, did the work well, and cleaned up before leaving.

I selected another provider, but Pete seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. He had recently done some work on a house being constructed around the corner from me, and he brought me over there to show me the work, which looked good. I would consider him for future projects.

He took out the broken pieces of the apron. He replaced the broken area with new cement.He smoothed out the cement.He scored it to match the non broken apron. He smoothed it out. He cleaned up everything before he left.

The entire project went exceptionally well. Peter was one of the few contractors I requested quotes from that actually was on-time both when he surveyed our property and submitted his quote. He and his crew arrived each day exactly when he said he would arrive, they did their work and left the site clean and organized. Peter finished the project on-time and right on his quote. No surprise charge orders and excuses for not getting the job done on-time.The results are better than expected. We now have a beautiful driveway, lovely entrance to the front walkway and both entrances have beautiful flagstone landings.

I first placed a phone call to Pete's Concrete on Friday, November 8, 2013 late in the afternoon, I also called another contractor. Within one hour Pete returned my phone call from the message I left, he was the only one who called me back. I explained to him what needed to be done, and requested an estimate for the job. What impressed me was he willingly made arrangements with me to come over immediately and give me an estimate. After accepting his estimate on Friday evening, he agreed to come over the following morning on Saturday to grind down the uneven concrete so it would be level, as was necessary to be able to close and lock my garage door. He asked for half of the payment up front and the other half to be paid upon completion of the job. He arrived on time with the equipment necessary to do the work, and finished the job by 1:00 PM Saturday, November 09, 2013. His strenghts were he was even tempered, didn't get upset when I asked him to repeat what he said, and listened well respecting my input and suggestions making it a collaborative experience, unlike the previous hothead who didn't listen when I pointed out potential problems which lead to a failed job where that contractor walked off the job when it was done wrong. BTW never hire J.S. Concrete Services! The original job was to cut out a section of the garage floor which cracked and buckled due to tree roots and replaced it with a level pad so I could close my garage door. Pete fixed the uneven pad by grinding it down to make it level which was no easy task. I was pleased with his work and would have no problem recommending him to friends and family.
