I received four estimates for a retractable awning for my south facing rear patio. We needed an awning because we get blasted by the sun all day everyday. There was not enough room by code to erect a permanent structure so we opted for an awning. We were impressed by Jim from All Weather Awnings. His estimate was very reasonable compared with the other three we received. We had him out to look at the install site twice and had several phone and e-mail conversations with him. He always showed up on time and patiently answered all of our questions. His long expertise in awnings aided us in our decisions regarding type and color of awning frame and fabric . The awning is BIG. 50' long by 14' projection. It works great! It made a tremendous difference in shade and seems to keep our entire house cooler. The awning frame is very substantial and the fabric is Sunbrella. The day of the install, Jim and his assistant worked very hard all day to complete the extensive installation in one day. They did a great job! I would not hire anyone else to install an awning.

All Weather Awnings installed our awning several years ago and we were very happy with their work. Our awning has faded and developed several small holes over the years. We e-mailed Jim and asked him what a new canvas would cost. He responded quickly. We needed to budget for the cost, so three months later we contacted Jim and told him we were ready to proceed. He came to our house and assessed the situation. He told us we still had some life left in the current awning, but my husband is a perfectionist and decided he wanted to go ahead and get a new canvas. Jim advised us on pros and cons of different patterns. We selected a new pattern and Jim told us it would be a few weeks before the new canvas was ready. The new canvas arrived and Jim installed it right away. A few weeks after he left, the winds began to blow and we noticed the awning was not automatically retracting. Jim came out right away and made the sensor adjustment which has corrected the problem. We definitely recommend All Weather Awnings and will do business in the future with them!

We have used Jim at All Weather Awnings to install awnings at 2 different homes in the desert. We can't say enough about how fantastic it is to deal with this company. The products, the service and the follow through are amazing. This is one of the best contractors that we have ever dealt with.
