Description of Work: This company is amazing. I was about to get new carpeting for our stairs because they were horribly stained, but a friend suggested I try having them cleaned one more time. Previous cleanings had eventually shown stains. So, I called The Carpet Specialist, and I won't have to get new carpet, thanks to them. The stains did not return. The old "you get what you pay for" really means something when it comes to carpet cleaning. I paid more, but I am EXTREMELY pleased with the quality of work they did. These are first class cleaners and I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: How refreshing to find a company with such wonderful work ethics, professionalism and quality. It is obvious they take great pride in being the best in this field and will and have gone above and beyond to learn everything they can for every unexpected stain or problem area they may encounter. To say I was pleased would be an understatement. After having 2 other companies come in and service carpet, sofas and area rugs..leaving me feeling duped and taken advantage of-I researched and found the specialists..true to their name from the owner to the actual crew that trained for years and continue to do so...I am extremely satisfied with the end result! I plan on Recommending them every chance I can...thank you guys...job well done!

Description of Work: I just needed one room cleaned and the price was good for more rooms, but I didn't want to clean out the furniture from the other rooms. The carpets came out nice.

Description of Work: The Specialist are the highest price carpet cleaners on Angie's List. Rich the owner is a very convincing and a self promoting sales guy. He promised me clean carpets, attention to detail, and a suction machine so powerful and state of the art that the carpets would dry in just hours. I removed all furniture possible from the apartment, vacuumed throughly for hours the night before and was prepared for his visit. Since I work my neighbor came to observe and supervise the cleaning. The company was hours late. Rich was on the porch instead of supervising his guys. The "through cleaning" which I was told would take 2 hours was done in 1 hour. My neighbor had to ask the cleaners to spot check and reclean areas of the carpet (I do have a dog). On leaving Rich quoted the cleaning bill $50 over the top quote he gave to me on the phone. My neighbor talked him down to the top of his original quote because we had done all the furniture moving and vacuuming. The carpets did not dry in hours, but rather in 48 hours. The carpets were clean, but I feel I was taken on the price for an area less than 700 square feet. I also don't like being asked for more money than the original quote when I did all the prep work and the cleaning was done in half the time.

Description of Work: This is the 2nd time I used the Specialist for carpet cleaning. Rich the owner is extremely professional, and takes pride in his work. He really is a 'specialist' in all matters relating to carpet. I was thinking about replacing my carpet, but now it looks almost new - amazing. I think I bought a couple more years of use. I highly recommend this company - you will not be disappointed!

They did a great job and were very professional. It was a little pricey, but worth it to support a local business that does a great job.
