Very quick and efficient.

I came home to a flooded bathroom floor and garage. The drain was blocked causing the downstairs toilet to overflow whenever someone flushed the upstairs toilet. It was 7 pm and I did not know who to call. I logged on found Stephen Plumbing, call and heard a very kind and patient voice on the other end. I expected to spend a fortunate calling someone for an emergency fix of the plumbing issue. I spoke to David on the phone and he assured me he would be at my house within 40 minutes. When he arrived, he was very kind and listen to me as I told the entire story of my experience with mopping the water, not knowing who to call and so on. He explained to me the problem when found, and worked to clear the line. David was such a wonderful blessing to me. He was professional and patient. Not only did he fix the drain clog, he came back the next day to make install a new drain line end cap. The one we had was very old and cracked. I am happy that I will know who to call the next time we have any plumbing or heating issues. The price was reasonable and not inflated and he told me exactly what I would pay up front. I trust this company and will definitely use them again.

Called to make an appointment to investigate a sewage smell coming through a bathroom. Called on a Thursday - they answered the phone immediately (which was a plus) and suggested an appointment for Saturday, with a 2 hour time window. That was great - i didn't expect an appointment so fast. The 2 hour time window came and went, with no one showing up. I called once, and got a mumbled response that someone will call me back. No one showed up or called. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried again on the Monday, and called first thing in the morning. They answered immediately again, apologized for not coming on Saturday, and told me someone would come, and arranged a 2 hour window again. This time, during that window, they called and said they were delayed. I said, that's fine, thanks for letting me know. Two hours later, they called again, and said they were delayed again. I said that's fine, thanks for letting me know. That was the end of it - no one came and no one called. I understand that you're busy, and I understand that jobs take longer than you expect sometimes. But please, treat people with respect, keep them informed, don't lie to them, and don't waste their time. Otherwise, they might share their experience on Angie's List.

I have used Stephen's Plumbing many times. It went the way it usually goes. They arrived, pleasant, professional and began taking the old water heater out. The new one was delivered and after I had some time to clean the area, they installed the new one. The plum her took the time necessary to do a thorough job and answermyed all questions to my satisfaction. The agreed upon price was the one I paid. This time the plumber was Miguel, who has done a lot of good work for us at our HOA and whom we know the best, and in the past other Stephens plumbers have done good work for us, too. The scheduler and the owner are efficient and reasonable as well. They have been in business a long time and are very reputable.

The service man, Curtis was punctual, courteous, and efficient.

I have used Stephens Plumbing on many occasions for a variety of services such as installing new faucets, repairing water leaks and furnace repairs and maintenance. The servicemen have always been very courteous, knowledgeable and solved the problem. From time to time they arrive later than their estimated time window. However, the dispatcher does call to let you know that the service man is running late.

Requested to receive an estimate to install a water softener, but they informed me that they do not provide this service.

Contacted the company on Nov 4th to come look at converting several of our electric appliances to gas. They said they'd come on the next day (Tuesday the 5th) then towards the end of the window they requested for the service appointment they called to say they had a problem come up and couldn't come out that day but could they come the next day. My husband was very agreeable and said, no problem but then they never called on Wednesday. I contacted them on Thursday and they said there was a mistake with the ticket and that they would come that same day. They came out and had some good suggestions about how to do the work with the least amount of damage to our house but said it would take a couple of days for an estimate because they needed to price parts. We had no problem with that but when they didn't call by the following week, I contacted them again and they said they would call the following morning with an estimate. They called the following afternoon to tell my husband that they were very busy and would get us an estimate by the next Monday (nearly 2 weeks after the original contact with them and a week and a half after coming out to look at the job). They never called on Monday so I'd say it's obvious to say that they are too busy to be interested in our job or even to take the time to get back to us. Very disappointed in their lack of communication, especially since the company was referred to me by a family member.

Jose found clean out and cleared the problem quickly and professionally.

They did the work but did not honor the Angie's List discount coupon of 10% or $150 off of their price. I was amazed they wouldn't honor their own coupon form Angie's List.

It went very well. The service technician, Robert, was great. He displayed a lot of obvious pride in his work. He brought along a new trainee with him, and that new guy was fortunate to have a great teacher. We have been using them for 5-10 years (hard to remember exact date we first used them). A lot of our neighbors use them too. We feel the quality of their work fully justifies their pricing. They are very prompt, and if they are running late because a prior job is taking longer than expected, they always phone us. Mr. Stephens, the owner/manager, must vet them well because we always feel relaxed around them, like we can trust them to be inside our home. Some contractors give me the creeps and I would not want them in our house.

Tech was clean and neat and personable. He had what he needed for the problem - didn't have to leave and come back. Good experience.

They answered the call immediately and set an appointment for Saturday morning a couple of days away. They did call that morning to give me a time frame when the person would arrive. He was an hour late, but they called and let me know that he was delayed AND called when he was a few minutes away. The technician looked over the situation and had to order some specialized parts. i set up an appointment to come out again the next Saturday AM. They were on time and it was fixed in a proper professional manner.

They do excellent work, are courteous, and professional.

I spent two waiting for phone calls to confirm if they were coming or not. Saturday afternoon the owner called to say they were short staffed and had 2 emergencies. I will not use again. Thank you.

They replaced the air condition and heating ducts. They brought our heating and air conditioning unit up to code. Same with the water heater, it was not properly strapped and did not have the proper safety valves. They installed new faucets and sink. They were very good their service. They responded immediately. If they were running over on another job they always contacted us and gave us as much advanced warning as possible. The quality of service was very good. Instead of trying to sell us parts they would say why don't you go over to Home Depot and get the part it will be cheaper that way.

They are here when they say they will. The worker they sent, Sal, really knew what he was doing.

Every time I've called them they've been out there within a day or two - faster when I had the leak. They knew what they were doing and the finished job always looked very professional and solid. Pleasant to deal with and they work until the job is done. They are my go to guys whenever I have a plumbing problem.

Steve, Kurtis, Arturo, et al gave, as always, courteous and friendly service. Would have liked to see a more detailed estimate / invoice breaking out parts and labor separately rather than just a round number over the phone - guess we should have insisted! We have used Stephens Plumbing for several years now and have been generally very happy with their services. We failed to check for the company's name when we joined Angie's List over a year ago so we did not know about any senior discount and none was ever offered to us - guess we didn't look old enough...

This was a very good experience. They came in and evaluated the situation very quickly and immediately took action to provide me with option as to how I wanted to fix the problem. They did a great job and they were very quick.

The plumber never showed up. I expected a plumber at 3 p.m. and called the office again to confirm it. The office representative, Phil said his plumber will call when he's on the way. I went back home since it was at my tenant's townhome which was vacant. Phil called to inform me of his plumber arriving in 10 minutes. I rushed out there and waited at the gate for 20 minutes. Then Phil called again asking for the direction. Another 20 minutes, Curtis, the plumber called asking for direction and said he was in another city, which would take another 30 minutes. I waited for 35 minutes again and received a call from Phil saying they have an emergency and had to divert his plumber. That was the end of it.

The man that I had dealt with during this assignment was a very nice man. Everything is going fine with our water heater. There is not too much to say about the job besides that it went well and everything is now fine. I have no problems, and I am quite pleased with the outcome. I do not think I would have a problem hiring them again in the near future if needed.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB ON INSTALLING THE UNIT. THE WORKER WHO STARTED THE SERVICES WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY SOON SENT ME ANOTHER PERSON TO COMPLETE THE SERVICES. THEY RESPONDED VERY QUICKLY AFTER I CALLED IN TO COMPLAIN. I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

THE COMPANY IS VERY RESPONSIVE AND DID A GOOD JOB.
