Phill's Plumbing

I called Phil on Wednesday and he told me he'd do his best to fit me in during the weekend, as I requested. Phil was able to come out on Sunday and was right on time. He was well dressed, looked at the problem with me, then suited up in coveralls to start working on the issue. While the issue is underground, and probably the spa probably isn't worth the repair, he did provide me with a reasonable quote showing my wife and I the best way to fix our issue and bring the gas piping up to code. While Phil was at our house, he pointed out some other items we weren't aware of, as our home inspector mis-identified drains. Having Phil at our house was a great experience. He took the time to look at our issues and present several options. We will be having Phil's Plumbing back when we need a plumber again.

We were VERY pleased with the excellent and professional service we received from Phill's Plumbing. We were in a bind to have the work done quickly and on short notice and they took care of us. They were on time and did excellent work. The technician was polite, thorough and did a GREAT job.

My water heater broke at a very inconvenient time. I got on Angie's List immediately and based on reviews decided to call Phil's Plumbing. Phil was able to come out that day (sunday) to check out the problem and give me an estimate. He saved me money by noticing that the water heater was still under warranty and therefore should be replaced at little cost by home depot and even helped me talk to the not so friendly warranty department to get the water heater replaced asap. He came back on monday, carted away the old water heater, and installed the new one. The whole job was completed in a timely manner.

The valve in one of our showers broke on New Years Day leaving us unable to shut off the tub faucet. Phil came out in a timely manner, even though it was a holiday. He replaced the valve (which had broken into a few pieces, one being stuck in the opening) and let us get back to watching bowl games. We would absolutely use him again.

While digging in the front patio, the main water line decided to move into the way and somehow obtain a small puncture (amazing that this can happen, right?). So, right a way we were experiencing a large amount of water gushing into the yard. We quickly located the utility shut off valve in the sidewalk and shut the main water line off. Then, it was determined that a plumber would absolutely be necessary if we needed certain amenities... like water in the house. We also realized it was Sunday. We called several different companies that claimed to be open 24 hrs, but didn't seem to want to answer their phones. Then we came across Phil's plumbing and he answered right away. He said he could be there within the hour, and he was. He immediately knew what to do, and had the pipe fixed within 30 minutes. He also noticed that we did not have a shut off valve on the property, so he asked if we would like to have one installed, since he was already working on the pipe. Overall, he was easy to work with, quick, and came out on a Sunday on super short notice. Yes, this may have cost us a bit more, but he did quality work.

I had lived with the problem for a long time because I had a "chain" plumber out some time ago and he told me I needed to trench and add a cleanout to the main line. So I just took every thing out of the sink every time I did wash. Phills guy, I think Michael was his name, explained that the chain plumbers work on commission, so they always try to jack up the bill. Michael snaked the line, told me to put some degreaser down the drain once a month, and drove off into the sunset. Problem solved. Service was prompt and honest.

Great. The plumber was running late, but called me and let me know. I had no problems when he got there since I was working from home that day. He cleaned out the drains, made sure all was running ok, tightened up a few things, and that was it. I also told him that we were considering remodeling both bathrooms and told him about our first (incredilby high) bid and he gave us the number of a local contractor that they work with a lot. And confirmed that our proposed price was way too high for what we really needed.

The experience was smooth...and that's hard to say when you ahve plumbing problems.

As usual, Phill's was prompt and professional. He cleaned the sink drains, replacing appropriate parts. He inspected the toilet, but was not able to make lasting improvements to the toilet due to poor design of that particular model. We let him know we were planning to update the bathroom soon and replace the toilet at that time anyway, so we agreed not to do any more at this time.

We noticed that the tile surrounding our bathroom tile bulged. We feared that we had a water leak and that we would need a large retiling job. Since we thought it would need someone thoughtful, we hired Phill from Angie's List. Mike came promptly, examined the pipes, the walls, the outside access, and inspected everything. He was very professional and luckily we did not have a leak and tile wall was solid! :) He explained that we only needed to regrout. Yay, so relieved! Thank you Mike!

My experience with Phill's plumbing from my initial call to the job being completed has been excellent. I placed my call late morning and Mike was at our place by early afternoon. He provided me with the cause of our leak, the solution and what the cost would be. He completed the work in the timeframe indicated and was very professional and thorough. I would highly recommend Mike and Phill's plumbing !!

From the moment that I made my initial call to Phil to Mike showing up at my house the experience was really top notch. I had an active leak in my kitchen and within the hour of my call I had someone at my house. Mike was courtious, professional, informative and completed the repair effectively and efficiently. I have called my fair share of plumbers and I was pleasantly surprised by what I considered fair pricing and great service.

We've had a drippy faucet for a while, but suddenly it got so bad that it was running instead of dripping. Since we are soon going on vacation, we needed it fixed really soon. I called and spoke to Phill, and he had Mike there in a little over an hour. He arrived on time, did a fantastic job, using high quality replacement parts, and left the bathroom clean as a whistle when he left. The price was excellent. I would call them again without hesitation. I am a happy camper!

Phil was very professional and responsive. He responded to my email request the following day, setup the appointment for a week later, confirmed the appointment the day before, and showed up right on time. He carefully walked us through what the issues were, and pointed out some areas of concern that were out of code. He gave us estimate costs, let us know which was the priority, and didn't pressure us at all to do all of the extra work. He was able to correct the kitchen sink, and clean and attach the toilet in the master bedroom (which was quite a chore because the previous homeowners were DIYers and did a hatchet job). Very pleased with Phil, and would highly recommend him!

It was awsome, He arrived on time. Fixed everything and left clean. My mom couldn't be happier.

I ended up hiring a different company to repipe my whole house. The quote of the original plummer was about twice as high that a different vendor from Angie's list.

They are excellent. I like them very much. I would continue to use them.

They did a good job. They clean up after themselves. They found the leak both times and they seemed to have done a really good job.
