almost 2 MONTHS LATER the work is still not complete. They show up without all the material they need and have to come back another day. I say run as far away from this company as you can. The list I have been keeping about all the things that went wrong are too numerous to list here. Feel free to call me any time.

They did a great job and in fact I will call them again to finish up with some other rooms. I was happy with them. They were very professional and they sent out very competent workers, they cleaned up after themselves, they gave me ideas because I was planning on doing less than what they were suggesting. They price was good enough that I could add molding and all kinds of things. They were great.

I wouldn't recommend them. They basically told us we didn't have to pay them until we were satisfied with the job but so far they are refusing to correct the situation. They charged us $8400 and we paid $900 upfront and so we are waiting to get it resolved. What we've been able to determine is that the sample of the flooring we chose in the showroom isn't numbered correctly so they ordered the wrong sample from the manufacturer. They haven't been really professional on how they've handled it. Their price was competitive with everybody else. Quality is good. We will not use them again.

Sales person Michael came out very soon after our telephone call with samples of the featured items that we were interested in. He measured, gave us a fair price for the carpet and set an install date. The installers arrived on time and were neat, clean and courteous. They carefully moved the furniture and went about the install. When they were finished, they replaced the furniture to my wife's satisfaction. Both installers were good communicators with me. The entire job was finished at the time that they said it would be completed. Again, I am completely satisfied with all of the activities of LA Carpet in Orange and with the sales person.

We picked our carpet (a berber loop) with a 20 year stain resistant warranty, and put a deposit down with Michael at LA Carpet during Labor Day weekend to lock in the sale price. He was patient, thorough and informative about explaining to me about all different kinds of carpet. It was my first time walking into a carpet store and wanting to be educated about carpets, padding, differences between all the prices, in general. At that time, we thought we would move into our new home at the end of September. After some extra rent-back time with the sellers we received the keys at the end of October. Because of our delay, it turned out that Michael was transferred to a different store to be their manager. We were still able to continue our carpet sale with him. Thank goodness. He came out to the house to do final measurements, give us a final cost and pick the color. And said he would call the manufacturer the next day to put the carpet order in. It turned out we picked a popular color and the manufacturer ended up running out of stock. They had to produce more. Great news: we get fresh carpet, that has not sat in a warehouse for a while! Bad news: instead of a week, we would have to wait two or more weeks before installation. That was a bummer since the carpets were one of the last things we would have put in before we moved in. Michael said he would call back in a few days to give me an update with an exact installation date once he received an update from the manufacturer. When he called back, left a message saying that the manufacturer would be delayed yet another week for delivery. Since I didn't check messages until the end of the day, we received another message (a few hours later yet we're hearing it back to back), that we will get our carpets as scheduled with no further delay. Thank goodness. The following day I talked with Michael on the phone. He was upbeat, and relieved because he had spent 3 hours on the phone with the manufacturer to be sure we got our carpets on time. We are so grateful we worked with Michael. We felt like he was really working for us! So, yesterday our carpet was installed by a crew of 3 guys. They worked diligently and tirelessly from 9am - 5:15pm with a brief lunch break. And they didn't have to move furniture. The carpet looks great. I can barely see the seams where they had to cut the berber. Worth the extra wait time! The only thing I should've thought in hindsight, is that we took out a fluffy shag carpet to a low lying berber. The doors now have a little bigger gap underneath. Minor... and am still happy with our decision.

I bought high grade wool carpet for the entire house from this company several years ago. It was supposedly stain resistant but it is a dirt magnet. However, that is not the reason for my review. Recently, my dog chewed a hole in one of the carpeted stairs. I called the customer servive line, told them I had extra carpet and I would pay for the repair of course and asked if they could refer me to a carpet repair servive. They refused to help without an invoice slip- which I no longer have. I explained several times that I had the extra carpet and I knew this was not a warranty covered repair. The lady on the phone could not have cared less. Totally unhelpful, unfriendly and rude. Said if I did not have an invoice, too bad. Obviously the companyand its customer servive is going downhill

OVERALL GOOD EXPERIENCE. THE WORKERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID A GOOD JOB, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. THEY DID A GOOD JOB MATCHING THE NEW TILE WITH EXISTING TILE.
