I'm extremely happy with these guys. They are local, quick and inexpensive.

After a recent Windows software update, I was not able to access the internet even though User 2 on the computer had no problem. I don't like using Internet Explorer because of all the viruses and haven't had any problems with Firefox with regards to viruses. I wanted an experienced computer company and not some person that just fiddles with computers on their own as a hobby. HB Computers showed up on time, and not only fixed my problems but also scanned my computer and found over 50 trojan viruses that they were able to delete or quarantine. My security software itself had been hacked. I learned a lot from the technician that was here and the company has my TOTAL loyalty going forward. Very, VERY knowledgeable on computers, and I trust them totally to perform any work whatsoever that I will need going forward. My search is over for finding a reputable company for my computer. Kinda like finding a good car repair service - you never know if someone will repair your car or try to mess things up so they can get returned clients. HB Computers is the BEST and I recommend them wholeheartedly to everyone as their go-to computer repair company. I trust their work, their service and their technicians to provide honest service and not try to take advantage. Simply the BEST.

No service provided. I called to schedule a service call. Was told I'd be given a call back and could have a technician come out the following business day. Here I am the next business day. No contact. Nothing. Very poor communication and customer service.

I would use them for any kind of computer service. Very knowledgeable. Very helpful.

It went very well. The service technician was running a bit behind schedule and called us to keep us informed of his timing for arrival. This level of customer service was very much appreciated. The tech was efficient and did everything we wanted and a little more. Highly recommended.

Sam arrived on time and introduced himself. He listened to my questions regarding a monitor problem, cleaning up junk files and old outdated folders, spyware, etc. Sam immediately fixed the monitor problem, and explained about the best ways of cleaning up the computer and the various problems I was concerned about. He did a great job of not only cleaning up the computer but also advised that I should regularly clean up the files and use virus protection software. Sam also walked through the steps with me so I could do on my own. I was very impressed with Sam's technical knowledge, patience and that he could talk to me (a non technical individual) on a level that I can understand. Will definitely call HB Computers when I have computer problems. The price was reasonable; the service and results were excellent.

The technicians at HB Computer put my venerable iMac through its paces fully load stressing every module of its digital electronic innards to determine what was causing its randomly occurring shutdowns only to call me up and tell me there was zip wrong with the old girl a good cleaning and a stabilizing power backup unit wouldn't fix. They recommended a high quality battery backup unit for my home use and, with my approval, ordered it for me and had it delivered the very next day. Given the time HB Computer techs put into the diagnosis, the diagnostic fee was beyond fair to me and the reasonably priced power stabilizing backup unit they secured for me is operating flawlessly since I included it in my home computing arrangement. As for my venerable old iMac -- well, it's chugging away without a hitch in its git-up-n-go just like it was new again. Every contact I had with the technicians and the shop's owner was every bit as professional and confidence instilling as any consumer could hope for with the culmination of my encounter with this highly professional and service orientated shop fully vetting my opinion of them -- by my reckoning anyway. HB Computers is a sure winner by any measure.

Not only did Sam set up the new router but he spent a good time talking to the phone co. to increase the speed (which I didn't even ask for). This is great! It feels like I have a new computer! I also had trouble with Java. Not only did he fix it but he showed me how to do it myself. I had Sam come in before so I knew that he is very knowledgeable, fast and he will share his knowledge. Kudos to HB Computers and especially Sam - my hero!

For over two years my desk top computer has been slow, unreliable, often refused to start Windows and blanked out into the blue screen. After having it supposedly 'repaired' by three other vendors, I finally checked Angie's List for a reputable computer repair company. My husband dropped off the computer on Tuesday, they ran diagnostics on Wednesday and called me early Thursday to tell me that the hard disk was damaged and that was what was causing all of the problems. They asked my permission to purchase and replace the disk, and to back up the old disk and restore it on the new disk. Early Friday they called me to pick-up my computer. When I arrived, they told me that they were not able to locate a moderately priced drive to accommodate the short turn around time, so they installed a premium hard disk by a top of the line manufacturer at no extra cost to me. I have worked with this 'new' computer now for a couple of weeks and I could not be more pleased! The box boots faster, integrates open software with ease and is faster than when I purchased it. I will use HB Computers again any time I have a problem with our computers. They are professional, knowledgeable, competent and quick.

Sam was very knowledgeable, professional, polite, informative and did an excellent hob for us.

They were able to retrieve all the files for me at a reasonable price. They even gave me a great deal on a replacement hard drive and a backup drive(because they forgot to give me a phone call regarding my files) . All for around $530.00. I don't remember the exact price. I tookmy laptop to another place closer to my home first and they were not able to retrieve the files and wanted to outsource the job with the estimated cost of 1500.00 to 5000.00... that was a bit outrageous. HB computers is 20 miles away from me and I am lucky that I found them. Thank you for all your help!

Very easy to work with, quick turnaround. Excelent service. Dropped Laptop off on Tuesday, picked it up on Wednesday. Couldn't have been easier.

We are an elderly couple (both age 78) and have been completely pleased with our 3 experiences with HB Computers. Several days ago, when our desktop computer suddenly displayed "the blue screen of death," our daughter tried using various online solutions to fix it , all to no avail. Being that we had an excellent experience with HB Computers previously through an Angie's List "Big Deal" for onsite tech support, our daughter took our CPU in to their Huntington Beach shop for diagnosis. Because it is an old but heretofore very reliable computer, we did not want to spend too much to fix it but also preferred not to have to buy a new computer with a newer version of Windows that would require us to purchase upgrades all of the software we use as well as learn new systems at out age. HB diagnosed the problem quickly -- it was found to be a bad video card, which was replaced. The cost of labor and parts was only $120.00. Given what it would have cost us to buy a new computer, buy new software that works with Windows 7 and have the data on the old computer hard drive transferred to the new computer, $120.00 was a true bargain! We are pleased! When picking up the repaired desktop, our daughter mentioned that we have a laptop computer for which the screen hasn't worked for a couple of years and required the use of an external monitor. This laptop recently stopped accepting e-mail incoming messages and deleted all of the previous inbox. Because of the previous customer relationship, Amir offered to diagnose the problems without a diagnostic charge. When he said he could fix the screen and repair the Outlook Express corruption for $90 we jumped at the offer. Our laptop is now fully functioning. Aqain, we are very pleased. We would not hesitate to use HB Computers again or to recommend it to others.

Responsive to initial call. Arrived on time. Performed professionally from beginning to end. All requested work was completed in a timely manner.

Amir and staff were able to repair the damage and return my computer 48 hours later with no loss of data and $72 spent. I was already shopping for a replacement computer when Amir called to tell me it was repaired. This was the best computer repair experience I've ever had. I will be back to HB Computers when I need any computer repairs or upgrades.

The day after I order the Big Deal, Amir called me to have me install a remote access program to my laptop computer. I attempted to install the program, but found that I did not have enough memory available. I started deleting programs to make space and then the computer would only open in Safe Mode. I called Amir to tell him the problem and he agreed to have me bring it in. I took it to his shop and gave it to the technician, Sam. Sam called me to tell me the problem was a broken fan. They ordered the part, installed it and performed the TUne Up. The cost was $149.00, but they credited me back the $49.00 and only charged $100.00. THe laptop now works as good as new. Actually, even better, Sam installed Windows 7 to replace XP. I am very pleased with their work and have no reservations in recommending them to others and will use them in the future.

I contacted Amir, R. and needed my computer repaired the same day I called and he was able to have someone come out late in the day which was fine as long as someone was able to work on my computer the same day. I was impressed with the professional service and the fair and reasonable price! I will certainly call them again if the need arises.

Considering Sam did an overall cleaning of corrupt files, he also gave me pointers on how to protect my computer and to keep it working well. There are still some issues that I am having with the computer's speed which may or may not be due to HB? Sam and the owner; Amir are both kind, considerate, and willing to work with me until I am happy and my computer is working at it's possible best. I must admit this is a crappy computer, however I will have to download my files and pass it on to a new computer. I am hoping to have all the viiruses and bug's fixed and removed before I transfer to a new computer. I trust that HB will do whatever they can to help me rectify the issues. I highly reccomend them!

iPad got iCracked ! Consulted Angie's List for repair specialists and chose HB Computers because they were the closest to my home in Fountain Valley. I called and spoke to Amir, he said he can replace the the glass for " $140, out the door and have it done by 4pm today" He did as promised, and I am very happy with the service and personnel there. HB Computers is also very easy to find, with ample parking.

I am very pleased with the way I was treated. My hp desktop computer wouldn't turn on. Sam retrieved all of my information and put it onto a refurbished compter. Now everything works well and I am happy. I recommended HB computers to my friends at to co-workers at my job. I will use them again if need be. They were honest and did the job right. They wanted to please me and they did not overcharge. They are very nice people too. I have found a good company that I can use again. Thank you Angie's list because this is where I found HB Computers. I relied upon all of the good recommendations that were written on Angie's List and they were telling the truth.

I needed to be home when HB Computers called so we set the appointment for New Years Eve, since I had the day off. At exactly the agreed upon time, Amid called and we walked through the dial in. Amid remained on the line, in my computer for over an hour...we went through each program to see if it was something I needed or wanted removed. We talked about upgrading my system, whether it had enough memory for optium proformance, my security/virus protection, etc.2529

This is the best experience I've ever had with computer repair, and I am looking forward to telling all my friends about it. Amir was friendly, helpful, cusomter service oriented and explained things in clear, conversational language. His staff was great as well. He also did what he could for me at no cost as well as giving me a good price when I needed to replace the keyboard. They deliver on time (or ahead of time!), and I am so relieved to have finally found a place I like and trust to bring my computer to when I have problems.
