I called Harbor Construction the day the company "Green Living" who we originally placed our order with delivered the wrong colors of windows. Mike and Mich came out the same day to take measurements. The number one thing I can say is that Mike and his team provided us with Top notch customer service. They advised us of the best way to install screens (Something the other co. did not think of). and walked us through the entire process with white glove service. We replaced 19 windows and 2 sliding doors in our home. They were on point with communication and let us know in advance the day the project was to start. They finished in 2 days. Eddie & Bucket installed our windows. They were a super awesome team and they were very polite. Any question or request I had they were on top of it. If I could give them 10 stars I would. And I would recommend them to any family and friends.

Harbor Construction did an amazing job with replacing my 15 windows in Irvine. It was a huge upgrade to what we originally had. The tenants were extremely happy. We had an issue with our HOA being super strict about the grid pattern and they came back and fixed it without any hesitation. Overall, Mike and his team were very professional and courteous. I'd highly recommend them for any window upgrades.

They've made this process a breeze even when the city can make things a bit complicated (passed with flying colors by the way). Truly a pleasure to work with these hard-working individuals. Again, I am the type to write reviews only if something is truly amazing or devastating and not something in between (mediocre, average, etc.) We were so impressed with them that we hired them for a second roofing project a week after. Project 1 Reroofing Scope: tear off of 1 layer of architectural shingles and replace with Owen Cornings architectural shingles with synthetic underlayment. (About 3-5 days) Project 2 Reroofing Scope: Complete tear off of several layers of shingles along with wood shakes. Complete resheathing with radiant OSB boards, synthetic underlayment, and architectural shingles. (About 2.5 weeks) Details: It's never easy to find good contractors for home improvement work through yelp, Google, buildzoom, home advisor, etc. At least this was my experience because sometimes the ratings are completely skewed. I've met with about 25 roofing companies in total and I've had a few roofing projects prior to these two. Many times you speak to a company with high ratings on all fronts and they check out for insurance and licensing, communications, knowledge, pricing etc., but sometimes that really doesn't mean anything. For big projects like this that cost a lot of money, you want it done right for a fair and competitive price. However, you can only do so much research before the truth can be revealed. I've had nightmares dealing with companies rated at the high end on every website and it ranges from the starting process of signing contracts and getting city permits to the middle of a project. Bottom line: you never know what and who you are going to get and when you are already spending a great deal of money on something like this, you don't want to deal with the drama or headaches. From the beginning when I was talking to Mike and his crew, he was very helpful, responsive, thorough, flexible, knowledgeable, professional, and competitive when it came to pricing. No headaches all the way to the very end (how things should go). He took care of the entire process and went above and beyond even when the city was being difficult (different cities have different standards and some may delay a process because let's face it, you are on their schedule and if they miss something on their part, it's your time). Above and beyond: Our second roofing project ran into some delays due to scheduling with the city (they were backed up). Mike sent his guys to check up on each process daily at times to ensure the quality was not impacted. We had high winds with open sections for several days waiting for city approval. It's nice to know that the company you hired truly cares about their work to the extent that they are willing to drive out of their way to make sure things do not go haywire. The crew was also very careful at every step and they did an amazing job cleaning up the site during and after. I had several neighbors asking for the company's information left and right. My neighbors had gone through several projects of their own in the past and they were very surprised by the work ethic, quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness of the group. These are the people you can recommend to your friends, neighbors, and family. I'll reiterate, they are the people you want to take care of your friends, neighbors, and family. Seriously five stars across the board.

My 25 yo roof started leaking last year, but i thought it was my window, so i repaired it and this year the leak came through the ceiling light in the dining room. Harbor Construction had great reviews so I contacted them and they determined i needed a full replacement. They gave me a fair price, the guys worked hard everyday, they were friendly and did a good job cleaning up. The Roof came out great &, they even pulled the necessary permits etc. I only needed to write the check! I highly recommend 😊👍🏻

Very happy with results as well as all interactions with work crew. Took a bit longer than originally expected but they did not rush the job and so quality was maintained at no additional cost.

Everything went great. Mike is very responsive and his crew worked very quickly. Everything cleaned up and our new roof looks amazing.

Mike & his crew were amazing. Mike kept me up to date daily and ALWAYS picked up my calls, even when we were interviewing others. His roofing crew under the supervision of Gustavo were efficient and cleaned up daily. The HVAC unit on top of our roof had to be removed and a new one installed. We LOVE our new 2 stage unit that Mike recommended. Peter who came to install energy-efficient windows was very helpful... even fixed a lock on my sliding glass door! I highly recommend these guys!

Everything went great

Project went very smoothly. Mike at Harbor was very knowledgeable and attentive to our needs and concerns and worked to address our concerns regarding outside noise. We did three window replacements of 80's era replacement windows, as well as replaced an 8' garden window and a 4th window which required a reduction in size. The price was competitive and the work superb. Mike worked around the rain and got the job completed quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use them again.

Mike really is a unique contractor. He is honest and forthright throughout. I called him desperate to find someone to install windows that another contractor measured. At first he said no like the 6 other phone calls I had made. Then he said he would come over and see if he could help us out. He even met the price of the contractor just to be honorable. Unbelievable! Then because he was so great I asked him to consider taking the stucco and paint job. He was hesitant b/c he wanted me to be happy so he went over to a neighbors house that has the smooth coat stucco, took photos and sent them to me with notes so I would know what to expect. Do you know a contractor that would go that far to make you happy? I certainly don’t. Towards the end of the job we had a crazy deadline and he went out of his way to make it. Spent the day here to manage the crew. Even replaced an outlet himself. I wish he would do all the work on our home. I can not recommend Mike LaFirst and Harbor construction enough. Hire them. You won’t regret it.

Awesome company to work with. Owner Mike even answers the phone on the weekends on any of our concerns. Very prompt in addressing any problems, if any. Would definitely use & refer them!!

This was the smoothest transaction I have ever had with any company. The owner Mike was very professional, honest and knew his stuff. I researched what I needed before he came out and he told me exactly what needed and it matched what I researched. His team arrived exactly at the schedule time!! I never had that happen with anyone before! They were very professional, nice & neat. The house looked like they were never there! The price was very good, but not my only reason for using them. Mike himself made me feel I was in good hands. I made the right decision!! Great company, great communication, very timely and great follow up! I recommend them very highly and I am not easily impressed!

I had used Harbor Construction for my HVAC system and from beginning to end, everything was great! Now we needed to replace our 40 year old windows. Once again, Mike came out and professionally provided different options. We are in an association so we had rules we needed to follow & he showed us the perfect windows for our house that met HOA rules. The windows were ordered & arrived a little before when they were scheduled! We scheduled the installation and was told when we ordered, it would take 2 days to install. They even work on Saturday if needed! Anyway, the team came and took out the old and replaced with new ones in a day and a half. They were so professional, neat and clean. No mess at all, inside or outside! The windows are so nice, easy to open and close. No drafts, and the house is so quiet now. Mike and his team are the best out there that I am aware of! I have been referring them to everyone that needs HVAC & windows! Our friend used them too after seeing ours and are so happy they did. The pricing is very comparable, but I would go with Harbor Construction based on their other reviews and my experience with them! It’s hard to find such trustworthy professional contractors, so luckily I was able to find them!

We simply cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Mike and his crew at Harbor Construction. From the start, he came out the day after we called for a free and thorough estimate. He gave us a quote that was literally thousands of dollars less than another quote we received for a new HVAC and furnace. Once we got our approval from HOA, his team came out and installed everything; it took them only one day to complete the installation. The crew that came to our home were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We absolutely love our HVAC and new furnace; we use them almost every day. If ever I have a question or concern, Mike is always available and willing to help me out. He truly cares about the customer and their well-being. He does what's right and does it right!!! We are so grateful for all that they have done for us, plus we have made a great new friend in the process. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Harbor Construction for your HVAC or window installation needs!

Found these guys on Yelp. Their reviews are correct. Everything went great. They claimed they would beat Home Depot by 10% and they did just that. My house is much much quieter thanks to my new Anlin Windows. Much cooler too.

Mike is great. Was there every step of the way. Would highly recommend. House is much more comfortable. We got a top of the line Anlin window for less than our Millard bids. Couidn’t be happier.

Absolutely amazing! If I could give 10 stars I would! Mike is a truly great guy; he answers the phone and texts immediately, he took the time to explain all options in detail, helped us with the HERO program, was a no pressure salesman and truly wanted the best fit for our situation. We were left high and dry by another contractor and had no heat. When I was searching and calling furnace installers, I encountered several who "didn't have the time" to talk to me, or even come out to give me a quote. Mike came out that evening to look at our issue. Mike explained his Lennox system and how the install would occur. He had his crew out early in the morning and they were cleaning up the house by the time I got off of work that day. A true one day install. We had insulation blown in as well, and our house is really cozy and warm now during the rainy and chilly nights. He also changed out 8 old energy sucking windows in just one day! He even managed to rescue two stained glass windows that were very precious to me because they were made by a family member! The workmanship is great and we can already see the difference in how little the furnace actually turns on. I can't say enough about his level of integrity and straight forward approach. If you want to finally work with a trustworthy person, Mike is your guy! I already am thinking about more projects for him to do!

Very well, Prompt, explained everything up front and in great detail. I didn't feel as though I was being pressured or rushed to make a decision. Workers came out and completed each major task in a day or less. They were friendly and cleaned up any mess they made. One small glitch with insulation drifting down near the furnace. When I called, they got it patched up right away with a smile. Cost below I believe is for the furnace and the blow in insulation to attic and all walls. Other items were charged separately. I will definitely use them again!
