I called and requested prices and asked if the screens could be finished by tomorrow, the sooner the better. The girl quoted prices and said yes, depending on the load of work in the back. I brought the screens in ( it was about 4:30 already). At 10:00 the next morning I got a call that the screens were done. I liked the fact that I gave the sizes and got exact quotes on pricing. I had spoken to several mobile screen services, and the prices were higher. One said it would be faster to bring them in, but the prices were very vague. That was NOT the case here. I was impressed with the professionalism, both on the phone and at the office. I was impressed with the turn around time. And I liked the fact that I was assisted by office personnel to get the screens in and out of my vehicle.

They came out and measured site, I went to their shop and picked out the window that I wanted. They got it installed nicely and it looks great.

After checking out De Guelle Glass on Angie's List, I gave them a call. A very nice woman, Michelle, handled my call and was very helpful and friendly. I told her my problem--a stress fracture in the non-sliding side of a kitchen window. She indicated that the glassman could handle changing that out for me and we set up a time and date and Michelle gave me the name of the glassman who would be coming out. She helped me determine the proper preparations to make so that the glassman would have full access to the space he needed. She offered to give me an estimate of the cost, so I quickly used a couple of rulers to give her a rough estimate of the size of the window (so that the glassman would be sure to have the right size glass pane with him). Michelle gave me an estimate which was exactly what I was charged! On the appointed date, at the appointed time, Greg, the glassman showed up. I showed him the problem and he evaluated the situation. I advised him that the window was original to the house, which is 39 years old. Greg immediately got to work. He removed the old cracked glass pane and replaced it with a new one. Less than an hour later, the work was complete. He presented me with a bill for the same amount as the estimate and I wrote him a check. He marked the check number on the invoice and gave me my copy. Then he left. There was a little bit of clean-up required both inside and outside of the window. I quickly wiped up or swept up the miniscule, shiny remnants of glass that I presume came from the removal of the broken window. Then everything was as good as new! Overall, my experience was a very pleasant and positive one. Both Greg and Michelle were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this company for my window and glass needs in the future.

Superb service. They did work at the Huntington Surf Inn and were professional, reasonable priced, honest, and prompt. I would use their services again.

It took a little long (over one week), but the product fit perfectly.

My husband made an appointment with DeGuelle Glass to have a sliding glass door rolling problem repaired as the door was hard to open and occasionally came off the track. A repairman and helper arrived on time and took the door off the track to check out the rollers. I had to leave for work and as I left I saw the repairman digging through a five gallon bucket, for what I did not know. I would soon find out what he was digging for. He spent the entire time I was loading up my car, getting in the car and backing out of the driveway digging in his bucket and was still digging in it as I drove away. When I came home that night I was horrified to find my sliding glass door was incredibly hard to open, dragging on the track, and generally worse then it was before they arrived (although it didn't come off the track anymore). When I expressed my dismay to my husband he told me the repair man told him that it was the best he could do because the track needed to be replaced and anyway he couldn't work on the window unless it had safety glass. Considering that DeGuelle and Sons (the original company owned by a man who took pride in his work) replaced all the sliding door tracks in my home about 15 years ago, and visually the track was perfect, I knew the bad track excuse was just that, an excuse. I pulled the door off the track and found that one of the metal rollers had been replaced with a defective USED plastic roller. I called the company and expressed my dissatisfaction. I requested they send someone else to come and replace the roller and was told they would order new rollers and call me when they came in. The following week I called to check status. I was then told the same thing my husband had been told: The track needed to be replaced and in any event, they could not work on non-safety glass. I was also told my check would be returned. A few weeks passed and no check arrived. My bank reported the check had been cashed. I telephoned again and reported my check had been cashed. I was told to leave a message on the owner's voicemail which I did, requesting a call back. A few more weeks passed with no return call. I telephoned again and left another message on the owner's voicemail. Once again, no return call. It's been several months now and it's apparent that no refund for the shoddy repair will be forthcoming. I personally repaired my sliding glass door, going down to the hardware store that is two minutes from my house, purchasing a proper roller and installing it. The door rolls beautifully now which puts the lie to the excuse that the track needs replacing.

They came to give me an estimate on the 2nd and we scheduled them to do the replacement on the 9th. My window had a stress fracture from the heat. It is a dual pane egress window. The crack was on the stationary side so I could not take the window to someone, they had to come to me. Their technicians were a few minutes early each time (no waiting thank you very much). They were both quick and efficient. Job cost exactly as quoted on the phone. Kendra at the office was great to deal with, very helpful and accomodating. I have already recommended them to others.

I HAD A VERY POSITIVE EXPERIENCE WITH DEGUELLE GLASS. WHEN I CALLED IT WAS NOT DURING BUSINESS HOURS HOWEVER THEY RESPONDED QUICKLY AND HELPED ME RIGHT AWAY. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GOOD JOB.

I WENT TO THEIR SHOWROOM AND IMMEDIATELY FOUND THE TYPE AND QUALITY GLASS I NEEDED FOR OUR SHOWER. THEY WERE KNOWLEDGEABLE AND WHEN THEY CAME OUT TO REPLACE THE GLASS THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THE SERVICEMAN HAD TO DO EXTRA WORK BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL GLASS WAS BROKEN AND SPLINTERED AND HE KNEW WHAT TO DO AND THEN GAVE US GOOD ADVISE ON THE CARE OF THE NEW GLASS.
