Coastline's technician came out and quickly determined the control board was dead and no replacements parts exist due to the age of the ovens so the ovens are unrepairable.
Description of Work: Wall ovens had completely died in the middle of cooking and needed repair.

Kitchen Aid warranty service scheduled Coastline to fix my refrigerator and gave me a noon to 5 PM window. Coastline sent me a confirming email and verified the time and date. I waited until 4:30 PM and when no one showed or called and I called the office only to learn that they were closed. Called KA and they said to wait until 6 PM and see if they showed so I did but no call or no technician. The next morning Coastline called and said they wanted to reschedule with no explanation or apology for missing the prior date. When I inquired as to the reason they missed the appointment they said the tech made a note that I was not home. Then wanted to reschedule a week out because of "my missed appointment". When I said it was probably more appropriate to schedule for today because they missed the schedule, he rechecked and the tech had made the not home not at 6:30 PM. Needless to say I did not reschedule. KA was very accommodating to reschedule with another provider and noted on Coastline's file to not use them in the future.

Description of Work: Coastline diagnosed a wall oven that did not work at all. They ordered the part needed to fix it in a timely matter and, when they received the part, they scheduled a 2nd appointment with me to install the part and complete the work to make the oven functional once again. The service people (both the inside dispatchers and outside technician) were friendly, professional and efficient. I would use them again. I thought the price was a little high but then again I did not shop around a lot to compare prices. However, I'd rather pay a little more for reliable, professional service and that is what Coastline delivers. This would be the 2nd or 3rd time they have done work for me and I have always been satisfied that they did a good, efficient job.

Coastline is the service company we were referred to by Frigidaire for factory authorized service on our laundry appliances. We called them out twice to diagnose problems with the appliances. Both times, the technician was fairly dismissive and seemed really unhappy to be there. He did diagnose the source of the problem, but compared to other service people we have used since, the pricing was high and the professionalism was low. Further, we actually called them for an additional service later, and they never returned our calls to schedule it. After that we gave up on them, and moved on to another company, which opened our eyes to how much better it can be...
Description of Work: Multiple visits, to diagnose problems with various appliances.

The dealer ordered the parts and handed off the installation to Coastline. Coastline called us to confirm arrangements for a late December appointment, and their man arrived on time. He installed the parts ordered, but determined that not all the necessary parts had been ordered. Coastline ordered the missing parts. The parts arrived and were installed on January 27. We were very satisfied with Coastline's work. On the other hand, Kitchenaide was very slow to provide necessary parts that should have been part of the original installation. Consider it a black mark for Kitchenaide quality control.
Description of Work: Ordered and installed basket components for a Kitchenaide bottom freezer refrigerator. The parts were missing when the appliance dealer delivered and installed the refrigerator.

A credit card is required to be on file prior to service call. Amex is not accepted. Waiver of this was granted as we only use Amex. Repair technician Sean was punctual, informative and very professional. Would use this company again. Issue: electroluxe dishwasher control panel failure.Part ordered, then installed on second visit.

THE REPAIR MAN CHECKED OUT MY CLOTHES DRYER, AND FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM. HE REPLACE THE BACK HOSE THAT WAS ROTTED. IT TOOK ABOUT HALF AN HOUR TO BE FIXED.
Description of Work: THE REPAIR MAN CAME TO SEE WHY MY DRYER WAS NOT drying the CLOTHES.

BRUCE WAS NICE PERSON TO WORK WITH BUT HE REALLY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING THAT I COULD DO.
