Description of Work: Exterior house painting. |Great job done by all. From the estimate to the actual work, it was all done in a professional manner. These are my exterior and interior painters from now on.

Description of Work: Chad came out and did an excellent job of explaining their service and estimating the painting of three areas in the interior of my home. Tim did a great job of following up to schedule the work. Roy showed up on time as promised and did an outstanding job of prepping and painting the ceiling the first day and completing the painting of the walls the second day. Roy did a good job of cleaning up afterward and presenting the contract for final signature and payment. Thanks to Chad, Tim and Roy for meeting and exceeding my expectations. Well done. I would definitely recommend CertaPro Painters to anyone for their outstanding work.

Description of Work: The person came out to give us an estimate on sanding and painting the risers on our stairway before had wood flooring installed. Estimate was higher than expected but we needed the work done. The estimator did not advise us properly on the prep work, so when the painter came we had to get an updated estimate. They tried to charge us an additional 8 hours for work that took less than 4 hours, so a second estimator came to OK or request for hours correction. We never received an updated estimate in writing, nor did we receive a receipt when we paid them. The painter did a great job and in good time. We had also asked for an estimate on our bathroom but the estimator never bothered to get back to us.

Description of Work: These folks did decent job, but clean work was poor in many respects. They painted over our street numbers, and there were a number of places where they did not clean up their paint stains. They did come back out after I sent a couple of notes to the owner Pat. Even after coming back out they still miss areas on beams in our entry way. Pat is very good guy to work with. He was very up front, but I think his company deals with painters that are not really employees but rather are subs. I don't think they had same sense of quality that Pat has.

Description of Work: Two large interior rooms painted: walls and trim. Two painters took two days and a half days. I provided the paint. Finished job good as I expected.

Description of Work: I called for a quote. The lady who answered the phone was very professional and took all my information to set the appointment. The person that was to come out for the quote did not show up. I found a message on my home phone that stated he was done early with his other estimates and could he come by earlier. He did not bother to call my cell phone. So around 4:15 pm when I arrived home from work I called him and left a message just saying hope you are on your way for our 4:30 pm appointment because I just got home from work and did not get the message until just now. Once I set the appointment I thought is was set and that was that. He did not show up and did not return my call until much later that evening. He should have call me to say he was not going to make it at 4:30 pm rather than waiting. I ended up using another company because of his flakiness.

Description of Work: CertaPro painted the interior of my condo. They painted the living/dining room area and the entry way. They did an excellent job, the paint looks wonderful. I would definitely recommend CertaPro painters to anyone.

Description of Work: We had an issue with the dark paint underneath "bleeding" through after the work was completed. The company was relentless is making sure we were happy with final results. This required several return trips to re-paint the area. I think if the proper steps had been taken originally, before the painting started ,the work could have been completed much faster with less headaches for both parties.

Description of Work: We had CertaPro Painters paint our interior a few years ago with very poor results, as had been previously reported on Angie’s List. As a consequence of this review the new owner of CertaPro Painters in Huntington Beach contacted us. Even thought the poor job had but done by a previous owner, his predecessor, the new owner, Pat Wade, volunteered to rectify all past mistakes. On their dime they came out, thoroughly inspected the entire job, made notes and sent out their top team members and redid previous mistakes. The redo was much harder for them than doing a brand new job from scratch because they had to sand and scrape many doors and much trim, which had been painted with the incorrect paint before. The results were great and all problems were addressed. Above this, the owner, Pat Wade, was most professional and conscientious; his top foreman, Phillip, was most knowledgeable, polite, and thorough, and the main painter, Sammy, was hardworking, thorough, sweet, and did a great job. It is therefore with pleasure that we can now give our most high praise and recommendation for CertaPro Painters in Huntington Beach at this time. We would definitely use them for our future painting needs and recommend them for others as well.
