We have two A/C units. At first he looked at the wrong one. Then he did get the correct A/C unit fixed and apologized for looking into the wrong one. It still as cold as I would like it to feel, I am not sure if that is due to the extreme heat we are having or the problem not being completely fixed.

Gary responded promptly to all calls and emails and his crew showed up on time and did a fantastic job replacing a furnace in my condo. Although I am sure the job was small compared to what they normally do he treated me as if it was just as important. Would recommend him to others.

Gary Krautkramer and his companion installer arrived on time for our installation day. A visit earlier the previous week gave us many alternatives...we choose the most efficient heating and cooling system and one that uses very minimal energy. They arrived at the appointed time and laid down tarps to completely cover all of the carpet and flooring that might be impacted by the installation. The use of pull over shoe covers complemented the tarps to complete the protection of carpet, etc. Every step of the process was thoroughly explained to my wife and I before and during all of the dismantling, hauling the old equipment to the truck and the installation of the new air and heating units. The two installers were very polite and made every possible move so as not to disturb us in other parts of the condo. This was undoubtedly the cleanest and neatest installation process I have ever witnessed during my 70 years. Every phase of the installation went smoothly as the two installers worked together in tandem on the system. After installation, every phase was tested and retested to perfection. These two installers have been working together for some 20 years and this showed as the morning progressed. With the installation complete, Gary again went over everything and mentioned the Gas Co. rebate that our installation was eligible for as well as a nice tax break on our State Income Tax for this calendar year. He also had set up the inspection by the city when he pulled the permits for the job. There are no negatives to this company. Everything was as promised and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. We look forward to the lower gas and electric bills that this SEER 16 installation will provide for us. These guys are the REAL deal....honest, thorough, clean and extremely competent in their work. I would recommend them 110% to anyone!

He did what he said he was going to do. He was very honest and let us know tuning the unit would make it more energy efficient The unit is now running cooler and more efficiently. The tech who came to change the switch was professional and in-and-out. The cost was reasonable. He was very honest and again let us know tuning the unit would make it more energy efficient. I would recommend their services to whoever might need HVAC services.

The inspection went well and came with some good advice. I asked about a more accurate control unit for the herater. He happened to have one on the truck and as the price was fair, I had him install it that day. Great experience! Also asked aobut single room cooling and he offered to send a quote later and it came the next day. I will definitely use Air Vista again.

They were very good. They were running a special. I found it to be a value and not outrageous. I found the service professional and fair. I had two homes done. I'm getting ready to have them do the a/c maintenance again. I would definitely go back to Air Vista. I remember being satisfied and trusting them in the house. In one of the houses, you have to go up a long flight of stairs and they were conscious of not banging on walls. I felt like they weren't trying to get me to buy things that I didn't need. They simply checked out the a/c, did a maintenance program on it, and said the units were fine. I thought the price was very fair and comparable.

He delivered some filters for us so that we would have them the next time the next time he came back. He also comes out to check the system for us too. They are always prompt, reasonable and do what they need to do. Scheduling with them is just fine as well.

The service was really good. They were clean and the guys were nice. They were very professional. There was one mistake but they came right back out and they fixed that. We were happy with their service.

Gary was outstanding from beginning to end. When I called him the first time and he learned that we our heater was not working, he immediately offered to come over that evening for an estimate. He was very punctual and very nice. He was not pushy nor aggressive. He offered two types of furnaces for consideration. About an hour later, he sent me a written estimate by email with everything spelled out. I called him back, asked some questions, and decided on the two-stage furnace. Again, he was very responsive to my calls and my questions. We talked about the permit necessary, and I learned from him, that the other guy was going to charge me double the actual cost on the permit plus double for his time to obtain it. Gary was very honest and straight forward. We agreed on a deal, he immediately sent me a revised email with all of the details. He came the next day exactly as scheduled, and he had everything finished in about two hours. The best part: the inspector came the next day and said it was one of the best installations he had ever seen. He said it was extremely well done. That made us feel even more confident. I would use Gary again in a heart beat. GREAT experience!!

1. Submitted written request for service to AirVista website late Wednesday night, 12/4/13. 2. Next morning got 10 am phone call from Gary in response. Set up late afternoon visit for that day, Thursday 12/5/13. 3. Gary arrived 4:40 pm, spent 10 minutes diagnosing blown bearing on 13 year old furnace. 4. About 30 minutes after he left, he called with repair estimate (parts and labor) to replace the failed unit. Also, at my request, the cost of replacing the whole furnace. I opted for total replacement. Why repair a 13 year old furnace that had a 10 year warranty? 5. Friday, 12/6/13, Gary showed up with new unit and assistant, five minutes early. One hour and forty minutes later, new furnace is in, old furnace is gone, as are Gary and assistant. Done. 6. Fast, efficient, prompt, competent, courteous - sounds like a Boy Scout ad. Highly recommended (AirVista and Boy Scouts).

Though this is an expensive item, Air Vista was very good to work with. They were punctual and professional for the installation.

Air Vista replaced my complete Heating and Air Conditioning units in an efficient, professional and at a lower cost then the competition that I contacted. I am extraordinarily pleased with the results and would both use them again and refer them to my family and closest friends.

Despite running into difficulties in replacing the thirty year old system, Gary went above and beyond. Very professional and would highly recommend.

This repair was about as easy as it gets. Everything went fine and very quick.

My husband called Air Vista at 9:30am & Gary, the owner, set up a 1pm aptmt. At 1pm Gary arrived on time. He was able to repair our old A/C in about an hour & a half. He had all the parts with him. He explained how we should clean the A/C. We would hire him again. Our A/C works great, never better. We would be glad to refer Air Vista. Thank you Gary K.

I recently needed someone to check out why our a/c condenser wasn?t working. We could hear the motor, but the fan wasn?t moving. I called Air Vista. I told Gary that my air conditioner and furnace were the originals, thus chronologically 28 plus years old. In use terms though, only about a year and a half. I told him that I needed a new a/c. He suggested that it might be prudent to have someone look at it to see if it was just a simple problem or the unit was finished. I decided to engage his services. He diagnosed the problem (a new capacitor and refrigerant). He suggested three options. One was to spend approx $300 to repair it and see if it holds. Two, further analysis which would cost hundreds more. Or replace the unit. He leaned toward Option One: Attempt repair. If it didn?t work he said he?d apply the repair to the new a/c. The repair worked and it cost a third less than he estimated. I couldn?t have been more pleased.

Called Gary on Monday morning to replace a broken thermostat. Air conditioning system would not function until thermostat was replaced. Gary said he could be here by noon which was great. He called a little while later and said that he could be at my home by 10:30 - even better! He checked over entire system, cleaned the filter and replaced thermostat with a very user friendly one. I am very happy with his service and would definitely recommend him to anyone.

We called on a Tuesday and were able to get an appointment for the very next day (during the hottest week of the year!). Then he even called 3 hours before our scheduled appointment to say he could come earlier if wanted. He was prompt, tidy, and extremely professional. Our AC has never worked better! We will definitely be using Air Vista again!

I called around to other Angie's List provider's due to my air conditioning not cooling and Gary was the only one that responded quickly to my "desperate" call for help in the later evening . He had little space to squeeze me in but he and I were able to negotiate a time and he came the very next day which I was very pleasantly surprised. When he came out, he was able to identify the problem within a reasonable amount of time and it was clear to me he knew what he efficient and knowledgeable about his trade. He was punctual and very professional. He scheduled for the next day in the morning around my availability to do the work. He had his assistant, Allan, come to do the major work but Gary still showed to make sure the job was complete. Allan was as efficient and professional as Gary. The work was done within 2 to 3 hours and am enjoying my comfortable cool environment once more. I will defiantly use Gary again for maintenance and future problems. I have had cooling problems off and on with this air conditioning in the past and he is the first to identify the "real" problem. Even though I think his fee may be a moderately higher, you get what you pay for. I would prefer to pay a little more and get excellent service.

He fixed the problem and came promptly. I would highly recommend Air Vista with Gary. He explained everything and taught me how to make the air conditioner function more efficiently. There was a lot of stuff around the intake vents which I removed.

Air Vista surveyed the complete system, performed needed maintenance (replace coolant and furnace air filter, clear blocked drain line, cleaned evaporator coil, tightened service valve, installed electronic water sensor) and verified that the complete system was working. We discussed potential long-term issues and additional repairs. Because of the age of the current air conditioner, no additional repairs were recommended or made. At no time did Air Vista attempt to push additional repairs. They were very helpful in explaining the problems found and in identifying only those which needed immediate repair to get the system working again. All the repairs were performed promptly on a single service call. We are very pleased with the results.

Arrived on time, and got right to work. Identified the problem immediately and obtained a price for the failing part. He provided an estimate. The next day he went to pick up a replacement part and decided he could repair the part and extend its life. We exchanged voice messages over the course of 2 weeks and then selected a date he could come back and attempt his proposed fix. The noise went away, and with it most of the impact the vibration had on the fan's bearings. The repair took about 5 minutes once a plan was decided upon.
