I tried 3 times to get a quote, never got a response...

"We wanted the foot ottoman portion of one of our older recliners repaired. His work was excellent. The chair had been repaired before by another party and that repair failed. He showed us why it had failed. He took the mechanism off the chair and returned with it when he said he would and the repair has held up beautifully. He even fixed the damage done by the previous botched repair Excellent work, punctual, good time estimation and good communication. We will definitely be using his services in the future. "

I paid $60 to Dustin DuBurg in May for chair repair consult which he said would go toward the repair of the chair. After not being able to contact and/or schedule with him for several weeks, I finally scheduled something with him in August. He had always said that he would do the repair. I had to take a day off work to be there for the repair. I received a strange call very early in the morning from someone who did not introduce himself saying that there had been an accident on the freeway, so he would be late. I inquired as to who he was, and he said that Dustin had something else to do that day so he was the replacement. I called Dustin to ask about this because he had confirmed with me just the day before that he would be there. He had never stated or implied that anyone else would do the repair. He was very unprofessional and called off the repair that day and said it would have to be rescheduled. He did not return any calls and ultimately broke off contractual agreement with Lane Furniture (who had referred me to him). I have now had to contract with another furniture technician, and Lane Furniture will not reimburse or credit the $60 I paid toward this repair.
