Description of Work: Removed tiles from a section of roof; replaced defective flashing, installed new underlayment and replaced tiles. Also repaired ridge tiles on an outbuilding.

 + -1 moreThey are very friendly, and once they got there, completed the job quickly. I had roof ridges installed where there were none. Since I had a good experience, I also used them to install a greenhouse roof on my sun room. This did not go so well. They gave me the measurements and after a lot of work, I tracked down a company that makes them. (There was an existing, cracked roof) I suppose that they have never worked with this expensive material previously, as they asked me if they should seal the ends. How would I know? So they weren't sealed until I realized a couple of days later that moisture was sure to get in the ends and ruin the clear plastic. They did come out and seal the ends, but I suppose time will tell if the roof panels need to be replaced again,. as moisture did get in there and now it's sealed in. Also, don't expect them to call you. You call them.
Description of Work: Inspected roof, recommended repairs. Did repairs.

 + -1 moreThe crew was extremely professional and did a great job! They kept the work area clean and were especially careful with stray nails since we have children. The roof looks great and does not leak. It made it through the first winter without any leaks (and we have multiple skylights). During the winter we had a wind storm. A large branch fell on our new roof and put a hole! Roof Time advised us how to keep water out until a workman could come and fix it the next day. The repair was $300 and well done. I highly recommend this company. They work hard working, professional, and not overpriced in comparison to other companies.
Description of Work: Allen came out and did a thorough investigation of the roof and vents. After receiving 5 bids, we chose Roof Time due to their professionalism, punctuality, and thoroughness. We had a shake roof removed and a new composite roof installed. The crew installed new roof vents and replaced damaged eave vents.

 + -1 moreThe shake roof repairs have been done. The work was excellent but it seems that they like to take their time because Allen said that the had so many jobs that they had to schedule the folks ahead of me.
Description of Work: The $700.00 is the 10% downpayment. After the initial estimate in June, Allen, the owner did not keep the record of the estimate when he came over in October. Next Thursday, the roof was cleaned. It seems that Allen does not have the sense of urgency. I told him that I will be out of town by the Oct 25. But the next week from Monday through Thursday, these days were sunny. They decided to come on Friday to fix the upper roof and it was cloudy, cold and misty. I asked them if they work weekends and they said no, they do not work on the weekends. Then the next Monday, it was raining but came I think on Tuesday, wherein it was cloudy and completed the work tiling and fixing the hole on the roof.. The rest of the week was wet and so I decided with Allen's manager, Geovanni to postpone this Friday for the preservative. It will remain to be seen as to when the preservative will be applied. Then the gutters will be replaced when the preservative is dried, usually in 2 days. Their job is good and the music Allen gave me on a CD will remind me to contract with them in the future. That CD is music that transcends time.

 + 0 moreThey communicated and let us know how many shingles were going to have to be replaced. They told us right up front what it was going to cost. We had it done 5 years ago because it was recommended to extend the life of the roof. We were a little disappointed in the price because we thought that we had an agreement that we would get a lower price if we had them back in 5 years and they had called to remind us. Most all of our neighbors use them.
Description of Work: We used Roof Time to redo our shake roof. They cleaned off all of the shingles and they checked for leaks and bad shingles. They replaced all bad shingles. They scrubbed all the algae off and then let it dry for two days and then came back and put on a stain sealer.
