Great job, except for a few plant incidents! They power-washed the exterior, fixed wall issues and did an excellent paint job. They removed and built a new fence that is just beautiful and getting lots of neighbor attention. We are very happy with everything.

Excellent work and finished on budget and on time. Troy even suggested colors for several rooms which we love.

The workers were always here between 7 & 730 a.m. for 6 days. They did excellent work and were very neat. Our problem was with the owner Troy. We wanted to pay by credit card as TKO advertised that they take all major credit cards. Troy said his machine was not working (He had one that attached to his cell phone) so we had to pay by check. We found out later from his partner Kevin that they had a credit card machine at their office that could have been used. Then we asked for an estimate for the interior and that took more than a week to get. We had questions about the estimate and called Troy twice and it took him about 4 or 5 days to return our call via e-mail. One of the questions we had was why he was charging so much for the sample paint ($20 for each sample over 3 samples). We know that sample paint costs around $4-$7. So that didn't set well with us. Because Troy did not return our calls in a timely manner, we chose to go with another company for the interior of our home. We wanted to have the painting done before the holidays. Overall, the actual work, preparation was excellent but management leaves a lot to be desire.

I got bids from four well-reviewed South Bay painters to paint the entire interior of my 1,600 sq. ft. house - walls, trim and ceilings. TKO's prices were very competitive and they did a GREAT job. The painting was neat, straight, and not a brush stroke in error. And I looked - hard! They took about two weeks to do the job. I definitely would use TKO again. Troy, the owner was easy to talk to and impressed me with his knowledge of painting, materials and the logistics of getting the job done without a lot of fuss for us. The painters are regular employees of TKO, so we saw the same familiar faces each day. The communication was good - they let us know what rooms they were going to paint and when, so we were able to get out anything we needed beforehand. Troy walked through the job frequently and made sure we were happy. We stayed in the house while it was being painted (that was the only painful part of the project, but that was our own doing) and the guys were very considerate about working around us. Also, we have dogs and cats and the guys were very careful about not letting them get out. The foreman of the group, Victor, oversaw all and made sure that we got everything we needed. He was a saint - patiently putting up paint sample after sample for me until I landed one. The crew showed up at 8:00 on the dot and got to work. Everything was covered and the floor papered and taped. When they finished the job, there was no mess or trash.

TKO was a pleasure to work with. Their price was reasonable, they had no hidden fees, and once they got started they put a lot of guys on the job to knock it out very quickly with excellent results. Victor, their foreman is the best. He was very patient and worked with us to pick colors and come up with solutions for the few issues we encountered. I plan to use them again and the future.

I chose the wrong color and he had to repaint the house again at my expense. They did a great job! There was a crew that came out to do the painting. What stood out was his calmness and his approach. He said, "Yes, we can do it" and I said, "I'm a really difficult to work for at times" because I'm really specific. I'm not really mean or anything like that. I gave him coffee and stuff but when I say I want something done specifically that is exactly what I needed because I know how to do some of these things, I just can't do them, I don't have the time. I said, "Tell me how you prep this. I want it scraped, I want it sanded, I want it prepped. As far as undercoating I need putty and stuff" and he goes, "Yes. We do that" I said, "I don't want these plants trampled. I understand things may get snapped or broken" and they did. It was a great price. The price was very fair. He used great products. I even got to go to the store. He let me buy at their cost because I had special things that I wanted for a color. They just really worked with me. They had to redo my front door four times. They would always call which I really appreciate. If you can't get here just call me. I just want to know your timeframe so that I can work with you. They did return my call and I didn't have to keep calling. The crew was really nice, they were clean. They were very respectful. They really knew how to handle themselves.

TKO Painting and Contracting is a 5 "STAR" COMPANY. I called for an appointment and estimate. Troy was right on time for the appointment. He is very professional and provided me a written quote later that day. We accepted the bid and his partner Kevin did an excellent job at scheduling and overseeing the job. Not only calling to see how things were but was on site to check it out himself. Troy also came by to see how things were and we said we needed plumbing work. Troy provided us with his plumber. His plumber is very professional and communicates very well. Did an excellent job. TKO can provide most services that are needed for your home. From painting to remodeling is a timely manner. TKO can do it all

They prepped the house including a power wash, caulking and sanding. I was impressed with the care they took in all of this. You could not tell from any of the plants around the foundation of the house that is was recently painted. One of the balconies had a lot of damage to the railings. I was worried about this because I had been looking for something to replace the wood with and could not find anything similar. The balusters have 4 inch square ends and the bottom rail was split and falling apart. The gentleman that did the repairs was amazing and was able to save the original wood and restore it to near new condition. I wanted to do something different with the colors and Troy was very helpful in assisting me. My house is now lavendar with purple and white trim and I am thrilled with the decision. They worked with me on the different colors and where they should go. Everyone was extremely flexible and I appreciate this. The crew that worked on my house was friendly and professional at all times. It took a little over 2 weeks and they cleaned up every day and keep the area neater than I do. I work and was not there during most days. They still managed to communicate what was happening and set my expectations accordingly. This was a great experiance for me from beggining to end and I would highly recommend TKO to anyone. In the future if I have any work to be done they are the 1st company I will call.

Great company, The crew was there when promised. They went out of their way to take care of small details without question !! Due to construction issues they could not finish the job all at the same time, so they were happy to come back after the completion of the work and finish a few areas that were unaccessable to them due to construction in progress.

They're absolutely wonderful in every way. The price was cheap. One of the things I really appreciated about them was they pay us, workers were living wage. The workers were very good, and very personable. The owner was quite conscientious. I just don't have anything bad to say about them. I would use them again; I plan to do upstairs in the near future, and I wouldn't even get bids from anybody else, I don't need to.

I am very pleased with the quality of the work, the professionalism of the owner and his employees, and the personal involvement/investment the owner exhibits. The owner clearly understands that the homeowner's time is important to him/her, and that there is value in making the customer happy. There were several opportunities for the team to cut corners and skimp, but I do not believe that this ever occurred. In fact, upon request, a few perks were added into the jobs free of charge (e.g. short run of baseboards while casing was going up, nice knobs on the doors to match the house style, and hanging a heavy mirror). There was pride in the teams' efforts, and that is why I have had TKO perform multiple jobs.

Troy gave us a written quote within one day of coming out to estimate the job; we requested a few changes and scheduled the start date within a week. We gave Troy the address of a home that was painted a color we liked. He promptly visited the home, got the color matched and arrived with a sample. It required only very minimal tweaking and we had the perfect color for our house ? amazing service! Once it was time to start the job, Kevin and Victor did a walk around. Victor informed us of the schedule of the work to be done day by day. They were a very pleasant crew who did excellent work and thoroughly cleaned up the site every day. We have metal roof shingles which cannot be walked on directly without causing damage. The crew was very careful and used their ?roofwalkers?, ensuring they did not damage the roof. They also repaired areas of damaged wood so that they look like new and replaced an area that had been patched previously, leaving it looking much better than it had before. We made a mistake and forgot to tell the crew that we had purchased new house numbers, being very efficient they had already replaced the old numbers on the house before leaving on the last day. Even though this was OUR mistake, they came and removed the old numbers we didn?t want, patched the holes and touched up the paint. They didn?t have to do this but this is the kind of above-and-beyond service they provide. We would definitely use TKO again and recommend them to anyone without reservation.

We hired TKO Painting last July for exterior painting of our 2 story home. We requested a quote based on favorable reviews from others on the list. We chose this vendor over others because the price was reasonable and they could do the minor repairs that were needed because of water and termite damage. We were pleased with the work so we also hired them to do the inside. Troy and Kevin (the T and K of TKO) are great to deal with, they did what they said they would do, and completed the project within our time requirements. The painting crew is very good and they paid attention to the details. There was some minor problems upon completion but they were remedied quickly without any hassle.

TKO Painting was great. They always showed up on time and would wait outside the house until I opened the door, instead of ringing the bell and waking me up. They did a great job of painting and also the crew that did the work were great. They have done more work for us since the original paint job was done and again we were very happy. We are going to use them in the future.

It went really well. The whole team was very professional. They arrived when they said they would & cleaned up every day they were at the house. They came back after the job was done to make sure I was happy - Including finding and fixing a couple of things I hadn't noticed!

TKO was great to work with. The renovation was completed in the time frame quoted as well as within the budget given. We generally had pictures or ideas of what we wanted. We sat down with Troy at TKO and went over this with him so he got a good idea of what we liked. He kept an open line of communication with us at all times regarding the color selections and any changes throughout the renovation. Another great part of working with this company was that Troy was physically at the job site every day. He also wasn't afraid to throw on his work belt and get involved in the heavy lifting! He and his crew truly treated my home as if it was theirs.

Fantastic ! Arrived on time, prep was incredible. I think they took 4-5 days just to prep everything. Cleaned up daily, did not even know they were present. We had a lot of termite damage, and they repaired it quickly and well. Final product was excellent. Very professional. I will use them again.

I have employed TKO Painting on several occasions for issues involving our 60 year old house. When we purchased this house, it had many problems that needed addressing. Troy (the co-owner) had done two other jobs on our street and had those owners glowing with admiration for his performance. All of us have been very satisfied with his job pricing. Besides the work involved, his team always cleaned up their area daily and completed the job in a timely manner. I have no complaints to report. Additionally, Troy is a very confident and likable guy without being arrogant. We have recommended him to several of our friends and neighbors for their painting and construction needs.

They did very high quality work. They did a very nice accent wall and put a wood grain finish on a fiberglass door. They also did some crown molding in the living room. I also like that they cleaned up after themselves well.

TKO Contracting did a wonderful job painting our house. They made the experience almost pain free (the pain was deciding on what colors to use and here they were very helpful as well providing samples painted directly painted onto our stucco and wood). We did a lot of remodeling this year so we had experience with several service providers and the folks with TKO stood out.. from the sales people to the workers themselves. It was a pleasure working with them and they did an excellent job with great attention to detail and quality. I highly recommend speaking with Troy or Kevin.

Everything was done on time and as promised within buget.
