We worked with the agent while trying to purchase a home in Sonoma County. The agent was punctual and a good facilitator with things like DocuSign. Due to a 'neighbor dispute' we backed out of the deal and he did connect us with a lawyer. Two areas of concern: the agent should have made contact with the neighbor since we were living 3000 miles away; and secondly, the agent got very flip at the end of the transaction, saying "I've spent a lot of time on this transaction and didn't make a penny." which in fact, we lost $1000s in air fair, furniture that the sellers wouldn't repurchase, etc. in this transaction. And in fact, we found the property initially. At the end of the day, he was not professional. We're still looking to purchase a property in Sonoma County -- we wouldn't use this firm again.

Terri Yolo is the best! My wife and I currently live and work in Los Angeles, California. When we decided to buy a second home in Healdsburg, California (about 400 miles away), we contacted our Los Angeles realtor, who referred us to Terri. We first "met" Terri by telephone and then communicated with her by email. She listened carefully to our description of the type of property we were looking for and emailed us listings that she thought would interest us. We traveled to Healdsburg on several occasions to view properties with her and she was always able to adapt to our schedule, which was restricted due to job constraints. When we had questions about properties that she could not answer, she knew whom to contact to obtain the answer, whether it was a contractor, a city office representative or other third party, and she promptly reported back to us with the answers. When we found the home we wanted, she went above and beyond the call of duty by arranging for the various inspections and meeting the inspectors at the house herself. This was an immense help to us, as it saved us the time and expense that it would have cost us had we been forced to make those additional trips ourselves. She made excellent suggestions during the negotiations with the sellers and alerted us to issues that otherwise would not have occurred to us. She was in constant contact with our bank, the sellers' agent, the escrow company, etc. to coordinate the entire process and kept us informed every step of the way. Even after the sale closed, Terri went the extra mile by providing us with lists of contacts in the Healdsburg area (e.g., gardeners, handy men, contractors, tree timmers). She even supervised the termite treatment after the sale had closed, just to save us another trip, and arranged for gardeners and handymen to visit the house to provide estimates. We are so grateful to Terri. She made the purchase of our new home a real pleasure. We wish we could buy more real property in Sonoma County just so that we could work with her again!
