Poor customer service - limited returned calls, no calls to confirm appt or to inform of appt times. Mgmt lacks a customer focus. STC missed all commitments and caused at least a 3 wk delay. I escalated to General Mgr -took 2 calls. He gave no good explanations for the delays and no indication that he had even looked into the problems - only received a "Sorry" and "we will make it up to you next time". After the lack of response from the GM, I called the corp hq was told to first talk w/ the Corp GM. I left a voicemail and asked for a return call to discuss a customer service issue; no call back! I will never use STC again - they are the referral company for several home improvement stores in the area. When your remodel is delayed, you will wish you had paid a bit more money and gone with a reliable firm that values customer service and honors their commitments. Need more space for full details

Overall,the process did not go as we'd hoped,but in the end,our countertops look stunning & we're very happy with the result.For one of the first estimate appointments,the rep did not show at all.We had similar scheduling/punctuality problems with the installation as well.In between those two appointments,they also came out and made a template so that they could fabricate the new countertops correctly.That all seemed to go well,but the first installers ended up running into some major problems with one of the backsplashes & the window sill.They ended up having to leave that portion undone and refabricating those pieces.I wasn't quite sure why the template didn't do the job.They came back quickly (2 days) to finish the job,so I was impressed by that.The guys who did the second installation seemed to be fishing for tips after wards.That was kind of tacky.Overall,if you can deal with the scheduling problems,the price is good.We went through a popular local warehouse store and saved 5%-10%

They are the worst company! They do not come when they say they are going to. First it was Monday, then Tuesday, then Wednesday, and they couldn't even come at the time they said they would on Wednesday. I was so tempted to just cancel and demand my money back, but what can you do? I'd have to wait another 4 weeks for another company to get the countertop in. It is infuriating. And they don't even bother to call to tell me they are going to be late. They were contracted out through Lowe's, though Lowe's tried to resolve this issue. I hope they lose their contract. I have wasted 3 whole days waiting for this company to come and would never ever hire this company again.
