This service went very well. The provider did an excellent job, as advertised, including excellent clean up and removal of old items. This was a very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend Precision Door Service to anyone needing garage door service or repairs.

Service was excellent. Owner came to my home and provided samples. The door arrived within the time promised. Installers installed door in about 4 hours and everything is working perfectly. They followed up with a call to make sure everything was fine. This was A+ service in my book. I couldn't be happier and my wife loves the door which is very important.

I know it sounds simple, but it is so nice to get a call on the day of service, to let you know a closer time frame of what time they will be there. The appointment was from 10-12, and Cory called around 10, to tell us that he would be there around around 11-11:30. If only other "service" people would do this, it would be great. Cory was both friendly and professional, explained everything that had to be done , it took over 2 hours, this Liftmaster has some great features, nice lights, that you can adjust how long they stay on or how bright, , safety features., and ease of use, plus more ,this unit is smooth and quiet.using the belt drive. With the special features of the keypad, and the remotes. , both have a lot of great options. The work space was cleaned up after his installation, and Cory went out of his way to make everything was done to our satisfaction and we were comfortable in using the new gadgets. The garage is right below my bedroom, the difference of how quiet this motor is remarkable. the remotes are easy to use, and the keypad has better options then my old one. I would recommend this Liftmaster 8550 to anyone who is interested in buying a new garage door opener and certainly recommend Precision Doors to install them. Getting it on Angie's List, and dealing with Precision Doors was one of my best home improvement decisions.

Cory, the installer from Precision Door Service, was an hour late, but he did go right to work on replacing my old garage door opener with a new Liftmaster 8550, which we purchased with a coupon from Angie's List. This one works so smoothly and so quietly, I am very impressed with it. He also installed a new keypad which works well, and, without asking, lubricated our garage door rollers and hinges, which I truly appreciated. Cory was professional and explained how everything worked. Nice guy, good job, good company.

My technician, Mike R., was the best. He came out to my house at 5am to replace a broken spring. He was amazingly nice, considering it was the middle of the night.

This was a great experience over all. I got a good price by buying a deal through Angie's List, and was able to schedule an appointment at a very convenient time within a week or so. The technician who did the installation was punctual and professional. and I am very happy with the results.

We didn't use the old garage door in the morning because it was so noisy it woke up the whole house. Not only that, it was too old to pair with my car. The new one is better in every way.

Of course I was completely stressed that my garage door was literally hanging by a thread and I could not go anywhere. The young lady on the phone was completely reassuring and was able to have someone to my house in less than one hour. The work was explained thoroughly and completed in a reasonable amount of time. We knew it might be expensive so we were ready for the price. The ONLY thing that rubbed me the wrong way is that the serviceman used a fair amount of bad language in discussing things with me. I guess he thought I was cool with it, but it really wasn't very professional.

They were fantastic! They got it back working withing a couple of hours. It worked out perfectly.

On the evening of 09-09-14, one of my overhead garage door springs broke. After numerous calls to other companies (some from Angie's list) we found Precision Door Service. We talked to the 'live" person (no recordings) who told us they could have their technician (Mike) respond after he wrapped up his current assignment. Mike called and said he would be here in about 20 mins. He arrived on time. He was courteous, patient, professional and tired. He had been answering emergency calls all day. After receiving the estimate for the cost of repairs we gave Mike the go-ahead to do the work. He had the proper materials on hand and the experience to do the work fast and correctly. (Our garage door now operates smoother than before the failure). We highly recommend Precision Door Service and would not hesitate to use them again in the future when needed. I also called the company and talked to they owners and gave Mike an "atta boy" which they appreciated and said they would pass the comments on to him.

The provider came out and I feel as if they took complete advantage of me. He told us we needed to purchase an overhaul and that did not end up being the problem.

When I called I was told they would be at my home between 2 and 4pm, he arrived at 12:30. Doug the tech was very polite and friendly. He checked my door, the broken spring was obvious and he quoted a price. I asked if just fixing the spring might add stress to any other parts and if so how much would it be if I had that work done too. After checking everything, he quoted a price and I agreed. He set to work and considering all he did I was surprised it only took him two hours to finish. He showed me the each part he replaced and the difference between the old and new. Considering everything was 20+ years old I'm surprised something did not break before now. He cleaned up after himself, even sweeping out my garage. No one does that these days. Doug explained the bill to me and reminded me that I now have a lifetime warranty with the work I had done and I signed on the dotted line. The bill matched the quote, no hidden charges. I am more than satisfied with my choice of this company and the work they performed. It's a relief to know that I don't ever have to worry about a garage door problem again.
