PRECISION DOOR SERVICE

This was one of the best experiences we have had with a contractor, from the excellent communications with a live operator to set up the appointment all the way through to the completion of the project, which involved installing a new motor and accessories. After setting up the appointment, we were emailed a list of the technicians with photos and told which technician would make the service call. In our case, it was Chad. He called ahead to let us know when he would arrive within the window that we were given and he did arrive promptly as expected. Chad was knowledgeable about our older system and clearly explained the options to resolve the problem. We opted to put in a new system with all new accessories rather than replacing a motherboard or motor which was a less expensive way to go. Chad was very meticulous about the installation, explained everything to us about maintenance, which is minimal, and the door is much quieter than it was with the previous system. He was personable and eager to answer any question and to make sure that we were completely satisfied, including programming our cars to the new system. We highly recommend Chad and this company for any garage door issues.

Perfectly. My garage door works just like it should and is a lot quieter than it was. The technician, Cody, was very friendly and professional. I was very pleased that this company works 7 days a week and could fix my door on the same day that I called them. They sent a confirming email with my appointment information including a picture of the technician. I will definitely use them in the future and will recommend them to friends.

It went great . The technician (Rafael) arrived and looked at my garage door opener. He said the garage door opener opened and closed rather loudly. The technician and I discussed options and the prices. I picked the one garage door that I felt was an upgrade to the one I had. I also asked Rafael to replace the rollers on the garage door. The work took about two hours.

Would definitely hire again (but hopefully won't need to).

I was able to schedule an appointment quickly and they arrived on time. They charge $50 to come put to see what the problem is, but if you use them, they reduce that charge to $25. I would have expected that they would routinely wave the charge altogether if you have them to the work, but they're entitled to have any policy they want, and were upfront about the fees. The technician recommended replacing all 4 springs, which he did very quickly. A quick spray of WD-40 and the garage is working as good as new. I was a little taken aback by the price though, but am not dinging the company for that. He was up front about it and I said, "yes," so that's on me. But $783 (incl. tax) for 4 springs that took 20 mins. to hang is pricey. And paying someone $50 each to get estimates is going to run up your bill in a hurry anyway, so they kind of have you in a tough spot. On last thing, the springs are only warranted for a year, and the labor only 3 months. That was a little surprising too. For such a high price, I'd like to have the piece of mind that it won't break again any time soon. Happy with the service and outcome though, nothing bad about doing business with this company at all. I'll probably do a little more comparison shopping with the time comes to replace my garage door though.

Work was done in one hour. The door was adjusted properly and now closes smoothly. Installers were professional and efficient.

Rafael was knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. He indeed assessed the problem with the garage and offered several solutions from which I could choose. I was so pleased and satisfied with the outcome that next time I need the entire door replaced, Precision is where I will go!

Ended up paying much more for additional work. The door does work very nicely now though.

Conveniently arranged for service (including appointment within 24 hours) via chat, while in meetings (no phone call required); customer service was available 24 hours and responsive. Service technician was polite, timely and capable. Replacement part was installed and garage door once again functions properly.

The person who came couldn't speak proper english and would give me a break down of cost. They charged double the cost. I had to get this job done as it was an emergency and i wouldn't hire them again

Initial contact, make an appointment, availability of appointment date/time, all went so well. Two tech persons showed up (I very much appreciated that they showed up earlier part of the service window so I did not have to wait for hours) to replace entire door, hardware and opener. They are so competent. In short hours, they dismantled old door, rails, and opener, installed very nice new door and opener, and then clean up all debris from our old door. All I needed to do after they left was to close the garage door which was so nice & smooth. Two of my neighbors are asking about the Precision Door so I will give them the company information. I am very satisfied with the entire service and I would definitely call them if I need any repair or service, and also recommend Precision Door to others.

It went great. At 9:30am, I messaged Pat through the Angie's List website. He emailed me back within 15 minutes, and had a service person out here in the early afternoon. Their price was $100 lower for the installed high cycle springs than the other person I tried, and Precision had them in stock. Rafael came by at 12:40, happily early on in the 12-4 window. I did have the extra expense of a center bearing ($79), which I wasn't expecting, but which needed replacement. Rafael was not at all pushy, which I really appreciate.

Went very well. The mechanic went over the options, then replaced the springs on the one piece garage door. I got an appointment quickly and the tech was on time. He also helped square the locking mechanism, which was now out of alignment.

The phone was answered by a pleasant representative who scheduled an appointment for the next day, Saturday. The window given was 1 pm-5pm, and at about 12:45 p.m., Rafael telephoned to say he would be at my house in 20 minutes. I opened the door to this personable, well-spoken young man, who introduced himself and got busy on my door. He diagnosed the problem quickly--a faulty wire- and fixed it so that the door now works perfectly. He cleaned the inside of the hand held control so that it, too, works. The mechanism on my door is very old, and Rafael gave me an estimate for a new one. However, there was absolutely no pressure to replace my old, but now functioning, mechanism. Rafael is a credit to his company: professional, capable and very pleasant to work with. On the basis of this experience, I would recommend Precision Door Service.

I called to schedule a service appointment on Sunday 8/28/2016. I chose Monday 8/29/2016 from 8 am to noon. Monday at 8 am sharp Paulino from Precision Door arrived. After a brief discussion with him, he made his recommendations and gave me a bid on the service.I told him to start the repairs and I was very happy how Professional and Polite he was. He replaced all the necessary parts and when he was done the door worked perfectly! I will Highly Recommend Precision Door Service to everyone!!!

Called to make appointment, they said they could come out the same day. Technician called before he came and arrived on time. He was very nice and knowledgeable. Only took him less than an hour to do everything and cleaned up after the job. Couldn't have gone any better.

The tec arrived on time and was courteous. He pointed out that the springs were in need of replacing which were about $375. I said I needed to think about it, but in the end he didn't think they would last more than a month with the new opener, so I had him replace the springs as well. He had difficulty programming either of my cars to open the garage door even though one is new. I was quite upset that I went from two cars opening the door to none and only one opener. He called his office and they told him to install a HomeLink controller which cost about $150 alas both cars opened the door now. Needless to say I was not expecting yet another expense but to my surprise the company didn't charge me anything for the HomeLink system. What a pleasant surprise and how many other companies would give you this kind of customer satisfaction! I will use them again for any future garage door needs.
